Urban Tavern Ratings and Reviews
This is a solid good establishment. The pork tenderloin was do well, but not exceptional and the faux peaking style jidori chicken was good. The quantity was enough to fulfill a person who had a lunch 4 hours prior. The service was very good with a attentive wait staff. Overall, you need food, by the Hilton and in a relaxed environment, Go Here.
A real foodie spot. Glad the friendly efficient waiter alerted us to the fact that the last Chinese style roasted chicken with sticky rice and bok choy was going fast. We snagged the last one and it was wonderful. Who'd have thought a restaurant in the Hilton would be so good, reasonably priced and enjoyable.
Great Food & service. This was a desperate last minute pick pre theater . Very pleasantly surprised. We were party of 5 and everyone loved their food. Excellent wait staff and manager Daniel very nice and accommodating getting our group in last minute. Atmosphere nice but a bit big hotel.
The lighting is awful. They use very cheap fluorescent pendant lights in the dining area that cycle on and off so slowly that if you move your menu or your hands too quickly you’ll get motion sickness. The bar area has better lighting. Very confused as to why they’d use such bad lights in the main dining area.
This place has amazing food! I had the octopus appetizer and it was wonderful. They have local beers on tap which is nice and the environment was casual, trendy and very encouraging to shared tables. Excellent and I highly recommend to stop by. This is a hidden gem.
Enjoyed dinner, but they've got some very strange thing they call Barbeque Sauce! Had burgers and fries with a friend and asked for Barbeque Sauce - it was kinda nasty tasting so I just didn't use it. Other than that, the burger was good, shoestring potato fries good and service was excellent.
Interesting menu! The small plate options were excellent (grilled octopus was delicious)- overall, nice list of options (but not too many)- definitely high end culinary delights, especially for a gastro-pub. Beer options were terrific, and the service was top-notch!
