   Food was terrific. Dry aged stakes, miso rubbed fish, roast cauliflower steaks all prepared perfectly. Our server, Michelle was knowledgeable, friendly and gave us excellent service!

   Met friends while attending a work event and staying at the Logan hotel. Conveniently located at the Logan Square and attached to the hotel, the Urban Farmer was an excellent choice. We ordered octopus, scallops, halibut and chicken. We finished with key lime pie and everyone left full and satisfied. I highly recommend the Halibut. Drinks were great as well. Perfect place for a warm, quiet atmosphere.

   The food was very good, but my halibut was not hot--it seemed as though it might have sat for a while before being brought to me. The service was good, but a little slow. My husband was already into his steak, and I was halfway through my halibut before we got our drinks (a glass of cabernet and an iced tea) to accompany dinner. Also (this has to do with where families with young children are seated), the table next to ours, located in a recessed alcove--near the front of the restaurant--had a grandmother (who was eventually joined by a grandfather) with two children who were terribly behaved. People don't come to a nice restaurant like Urban Farmer to hear children squeal, scream and do a pantomime of a bullfighter and bull in the aisle in front of their table! It seemed as though this woman and her grandchildren were known to the servers, as though the woman might have been the mother of someone who works at Urban Farmer. But rambunctious children should not be seated at the front of the restaurant where their behavior can affect other paying customers. Families with young children should be seated in a corner away from other customers (and, honestly, grandparents and parents of children under, say, 10 years old, should know that Urban Farmer is not a suitable restaurant for young children).

    Quick service, great food, I mean they forgot to give us spoons when we ordered soup, but otherwise great place for dinner. Steaks were cooked to perfection!

    Our server was excellent. The food was delish. It has been more than two-years since I had a business lunch at this establishment. The only draw back -- this was business lunch and while the cornbread, water and drinks were served promptly. The salads we order took more that 40-minutes to arrive and we were not the only patrons waiting on food everyone was. Within 5-minutes of receiving our lunch we had to request to-go boxes, bags utensils, and the bill to get back to the office in time for scheduled meetings. Is this the new normal? I'm uncertain....

    Devon was such an amazing waiter from the moment we arrived and then even as we relocated to the hotel lounge! Very attentive and had such great energy and great advice about the surrounding area!!

    We had a lovely brunch with fresh/tasty food - the cheese plate was excellent, and the vodka martini was smooth. Roby was a delightful server - warm, informative, and attentive with the right mix of checking on us as well as not rushing us through our meal. Looking forward to going back.

    Great food, great location but very expensive! $20 cocktails, $75+ steak dinner entrees. NYC prices come to Philly, I guess. Also, only one veggie entree (I know, it’s a steak place, but still…).

    I've been to several Urban Farmer's and have never been disappointed until the other night. Everything was expected except for how both entrees were cooked poorly. I ordered the special 6 ounce filet, medium rare, that was aged 30 days and my wife ordered the halibut. We split the mushroom side. My steak was barely medium and the fish was bone dry. Our waiter came back quickly enough to check on us and when I showed him the steak he went "oh my, that's not medium rare" and said it would get replaced as quickly as they can. By the time it was replaced, and cooked properly, the mushrooms were then cold. No offer to reheat them or replace the,. I do not know about most readers but when I order steak with mushrooms I like them both to be hot. For the money laid out I find this quality of service to be unacceptable.

    The service was disappointing. The restaurant was not very crowded and we waited almost an hour for our breakfast. Two tables who were seated after we were got their breakfast before we did. The staff had no sense of urgency. I won’t be returning.

    My girlfriend and I sat down for a 7pm reservation. Our server was very good seeing that he was serving about 8 tables by himself including us. Unfortunately, it took them about an hour and 30 minutes to bring us our food which was cold and tasted average at best. We both had high expectations since we were paying $75+ stakes that tasted like something that we could’ve made at home. We’re probably not going to come back because of this experience. We were more bummed out to end the day with this night. Props to our server for being awesome though.

    Our waitress was WONDERFUL. However, our food took so long that a manager came out to explain what was going on without us even having to ask. When it finally arrived, none of our steaks were cooked to the right temperature after the extraordinary wait time. Additionally, Most of then were also flavorless. Disappointing. We did not want to complain - not our thing -so we just quietly ate. Our waitress could tell everything was just “okay” and sent the manager over. The manager proceeded to LOUDLY address how long it all took, acknowledged we were given the wrong bottle of wine (not tbt one we ordered), and wanted to talk about our issues with the food was. It’s a nice place and it was very busy. We didn’t want a scene, but she stood table side LOUDLY identifying and then patronizing the issues at our table. This should’ve been done more discretely or not at all. We didn’t ask to speak to her. Why come to the table and act like that? Insultingly, she offered us free dessert, but after a 400 meal I was really just looking to have things made “right” and handled with more tact and professionalism. We won’t be back. There are too many other restaurants in the city to pay that kind of money for that kind experience. Again - the waitress was a gem.

    Everything was wonderful! A small glitch was that we did not receive the asparagus we had ordered. However, our waiter apologized and Akko it iff the check. I liked that there was an opportunity to donate to World Central Kitchen.

    Dinning at Urban Farmer is always a wonderful experience. This time was no different. Ally was gracious as always. The debut of the spring menu was an added treat. I had the 21-day dry-aged filet. Barley needed a knife. I am already looking forward to returning soon.
