WAAAAAY overpriced for the value delivered. Service was mediocre, the place seems like a barn, given how wide open and relatively empty is was, the food, while not bad, was nowhere near the level of what I expected given the prices. Wine list is beyond the usual markup, with many "average" bottles at 4x list price. Shared appetizer, two steaks, one cocktail, bottle of mid level wine, two sides, no desert: $350.
Great brunch in a hip area. Would definitely come back again
In-spite of having a reservation, the front-of-house staff was unpleasant seemed put out that we were dining with them. At $400 for a dinner for 4, I expect better service than to be greeted by "you planning to eat?" at the front door.
Service by Sarah was magnificent! Always checking, water constantly filled, drinks poured, food served perfectly correct temp and presentation, all wait staff extremely attentive to detail. Ambiencve so incredibly pleasant. Steak was "okay" nothing sensational had the 1855 Strip. Not a lot of flavor. Cheese presentation and selection awesome. Charcuterie board was delicious! Seafood tower incredible! Could not eat it all!!
Terrible dining experience. Food was beyond horrible, served cold, and bland flavor.
We chose this steakhouse based on its proximity to The Franklin Institute, and were very pleased. The menu's offerings were close to what you might expect from a traditional steakhouse, but elevated. I enjoyed a 24 oz Ribeye with foie gras butter that was sensational. I was also pleased with he wine list and selection of cocktails. While a perfect venue for a special occasion, the atmosphere was modern and staff was very helpful and friendly.
This was our 2nd visit and once again did not disappoint !
Service was fabulous from the bartender to the server . Steak was so flavorful and the sides were fresh & done to perfection. We will definitely be back !
Great experience. Food was really good. Bartenders were so friendly and helpful
The food was really good, once we got it. An hour and fifteen minutes of waiting with bone dry glasses for three sandwiches. We were sat at 1:15, so after the lunch rush. Our food arrived at 2;40. The food was good, we were just completely ignored for over an hour after ordering.
Celebrated our 53 rd anniversary there.
Food, wine and ambiance were lovely.
Our waiterKen was more than exceptional.
Would definitely recommend this experience.
See you again.
Excellent service, with great teamwork among the employees to ensure that each guest feels special. The meat is excellent, and cooked the way you order it. The appetizers are delicious - we liked the caesar salad and the mussels. They even give you a package of seeds with the check!
We always enjoy coming to urban farmer when we come from out of town to visit Philadelphia and its wonderful museums. Ever since urban farmer opened we have been patrons and it just gets better and better. The service is quick and attentive and the food is terrific. Ample & satisfactory wine list to accompany yourdelicious food. I’ll definitely come again.
Nice dinner with the family. We all 3 had steak. Service was on point. Great explanation of the menu. Nice wine list. Foie Gras was exceptional. 1 filet was wrong temperature twice. They comped the meal. Sides of creamed spinach and mashed potato were delicious. Would definitely go back
All of the food we ordered was excellent! However, service was very slow and inattentive.
We usually love Urban Farmer but the vegetable frittata was horrible. Parsnips and sweet potatoes and eggs do not mix well and it just wasn’t good at all.
Good food. Good service - friendly and efficient. Clean.
Locale davvero trendy, elegante e molto americano. Carne commovente, la più buona che abbia mai mangiato, e prezzi onesti.
Steak tasting and charcuterie were excellent!
Urban Farmer is special! Whether a date night, friends night, or just a great night out – Urban Farmer is well worth it. Great environment. Great location. They even serve a top-notch breakfast/brunch menu as well.
I don’t love the name of this place so I was judging before I arrived. Happy to say I was pleasantly surprised the food is rich and heavy but well prepared and everything we had was delicious. We did shrimp app, sea bass, scallops, mushrooms and potato bacon side. The butterscotch desert was amazing. Loved our big table and chairs ultra comfortable. Good service too! The only negatives were the $6 cappuccino, that’s an extraordinarily excessive price and the milk was not foamed that well. The wine list is very boring too all big American wines, but to be expected for a steakhouse in a hotel and clearly I’m kinda snobby.
We ate at this Urban Farmer last year for our wedding anniversary/ very good.
We joined our daughter for this year’s celebration at the same restaurant. Unfortunately, our dinner was disappointing. The shrimp cocktail/ 3 shrimp on a pickled onion cocktail sauce. The shrimp was firm and tasty. Our caesar salad was doused in dressing. So much so that the waitress asked us if we asked for extra dressing! Huh? You took our order.
The biggest let down was our steaks. My grain fed 8 Oz filet mignon was dry, dry dry. My husband’s rib eye was 40% inedible. Too “grizzly.” My daughter’s fish dish, a special that night was fair.
2 glasses wine, one beer, tab came to $312.00 plus tip. Too expensive for a mediocre steak dinner.
Food was awesome! Byron our waiter excellent. When we ask for recommendations about the food & drinks he was on point. This was my 2nd visit. My 1st time was for lunch I had the Fish & Chips. It was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants
We dined here for dinner and breakfast the next morning when we stayed at the Hilton Logan.
It's a farm to table restaurant with a limited, but creative and amazing menu. Our server, Drew (Andrew) was attentive and shared helpful knowledge about each entree. Everything was delicious. The included cornbread made in a can was exceptional!
Even the sides and starters are huge, so be careful how much you order.
The decor is interesting, very edgy and modern. We decided it was more a conversation starter than an attraction.
I would give it 5 stars, but for the noise from the active bar scene which drifts over into the dining area.
Weird service. Two out of three of us seated and the servers came three times to take our order within 5 minutes of being seated, even after we explained that one guest was in the restroom.
As always, food was outstanding. The restaurant tends to be noisy because it is open to the bar area. The wait staff was outstanding and very helpful. Will definitely be back.
Too loud for conversation
The waitress was phenomenal, the food was good and the scenery was awesome. I really in joined my date with my husband And would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Service was amazing - friendly, on point, and pleasant. Will definitely be going back.
Best cornbread ever. It’s made in a tin can and tastes like a graham crackery heaven. The steak was delicious and so were the twice baked potatoes.
Loved the feel of the place. Unique design!
Restaurant was very nice. Not too crowded or kid. Waiter was knowledgeable about steaks and very nice and attentive. Food was delicious, even the kids meals. Very pricey though.
Nice bar, table service excellent and food both portions and taste was terrific. Only suggestion is lower volume of music and play less trend tunes
Great farm to table restraunt
The French toast was so good we had to order two!
Food was ok, warm but not hot. Server was nice, but not around when needed. Ambience was nice & the value was ok but there’s a lot of competition out there so not sure if I’d give it another try.
Great location and great service. Dinner was wonderful. Try the potato tarte it’s delish.
Wonderful birthday dinner for my son!! The food was out of this world!! We had a great evening!
What a fantastic find! The Devore is great, the food, as expected, lives up to hype. I love the option of really customizing your meal with ample choice of butters, toppings, and sides. The noise level was surprisingly low (especially for a Thursday night), the tables were spaced plenty far apart. I can’t stand closely spaced tables, l like some breathing room from the adjacent parties. I can’t say enough about this place, I will happily recommended this place to anyone looking for a memorable date spot.
Nice experience at Urban Farmer. Waiter professional and informative. Prompt with drinks, food and answering questions. Service was very good. Seating in a booth is more comfortable than their chairs. The restaurant is expensive.
