Urban Farmer Cleveland
Book your next event with us
Good food, limited choices, overpriced. Upscale location and décor in the downtown of Cleveland. Try it, you might like it!
Let me count the ways.... 1oz, 2oz and so on. I love the steak here so much. Wait I love everything they serve. If you’re afraid to spend money on the best of the best, don’t go here. If your willing to pay for goodness, enjoy!
Very enjoyable evening!! Definitely will be back again!!
Food was so good! Staff was helpful without being overwhelming. I’m thinking about going again for dinner before I leave Cleveland again.
Food was so much better a year Ago. This last time food wasn’t so good!!!
Fabulous Mother's Day Brunch! Had such a special time with my Mom - food and service were excellent and the atmosphere is approachably trendy and fun!
What a wonderful time we had. Drinks were fabulous, food excellent and the service great. Drove 2 hours to try it out and fell in Love with it. Hope to get back soon. Try the New York Steak Experience. Some of the Best Beef I have ever had.
Ambiance was calm and decor very welcoming. Everyone seemed pleased with brunch items except for myself. It was not what I was expecting (biscuit with gravy) and I did not care for the taste. The service was beyond reproach: helpful, patient, pleasant.
I was expecting the food to be good, but was pleasantly surprised it was so good! Great wines and excellent service. Bravo!
I would say yes, on a condition. The cornbread being served out of a can? really now? and it being sweet though you are a steak place.. This was the sticking point for me. if the cornbread had been non-sweet to help sop up the juice from the steak it would have been perfect, and if it was served normal and not in a can it would have been executed perfectly.
Shared the steak sampler. All cuts were good
Excellent food and service. Definitely will go again.
Loved it here and next time I go to Cleveland I’ll be going back! Good was amazing and our server was great too. Awesome atmosphere
The food was spectacular, as we had hoped for. Unfortunately, the hostess(es) lost track of us, and had to be reminded to seat us. We were seated ~20 minutes after our reservation time. We sat in the lounge area and ordered some wine while waiting to be seated, and after watching them seat other tables that had come in after us, we got a little confused. I asked the hostess if they were still looking for our table, or what the status was. She was nice enough, but did not apologize (maybe didn't see that it was their mistake). Unfortunate start to a nice evening.
Don't mean to go on about that for too long. The waitress we ended up with was wonderful, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.
Very disappointed as a steak house . Poor value and very expensive. Red, marble room and capital grill better value
This by far is one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland. Definitely is one I recommend to my family and friends!
A beautiful dining room and wait staff, but the entire experience was let-down by the quality of the food. When you order a $50 steak, you expect something memorable and it wasn't that. While the steaks were well-seasoned and cooked to order, the final product was rather average in taste and texture overall and very close to what one can do at home with a cast iron skillet. We also got the Ceaser salad which was good (except for the few anchovies on top which seemed somewhat out of place). The brussel sprouts were really tasty, while the radish and potatoes were just OK. For drinks, I had a magmarita which was quite tasty but not really very spicy as the name suggested or strong.
Delicious place for a business lunch! Prices are a little steep, but the food stands up!
Convenient location downtown with parking available. The filet cut was delicious and cooked to perfection. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and recommendations were convincing. Recommended if you are entertaining clientele
The staff never acknowledged my birthday even though we mentioned it on the reservation. Never mind doing anything special...food is overpriced, service was spotty, I dislike the cornbread in a can and prefer a bread basket, try a bread basket with a cornbread roll combo if you have to have it. Caesar Salad was lame for what it cost, Romain was warm, it was under-dressed, too much powdered cheese, prefer shaved PR cheese one anchovies? Really?... $98.00 a person is a bit steep for dinner in a place of this caliber. Never again... a disappointing experience.
The food was amazing!
We were looking for a non-meat-centric resturant in Celevland (not an easy task) and the farm to table tagline of urban farming sounded promising. Well, it was a canavore centric, but the waiter told us where the steer/pork/ovine grew happily before arriving to the restaurant. The vegetables were hidden. Although they were fantastic. The roasted radishes and the parsnip soup were top notch and the corn bread was uniquely presented and tasty. The house wines were very nice and affordable (& recommend the Parts and Labor red).
Service was friendly and efficient. Cost pp was above average as expected for the quality.
Celebrating passing a securities test
First of all it was quite a turn off to arrive there and find the CLAW event happening. It was disgusting and no enforcement of the dress code. Secondly our food was not prepared correctly. My girlfriend ordered a filet medium and was well. I ordered a filet medium rare and was very medium. Not Happy with the experience
Urban Farmer has a great and varied menu with simple ingredients that, when combined, are phenomenal. I would highly recommend anyone to sample this establishment.
The Charcuterie was fantastic and the New York Steak Tasting was fabulous! You get to try 3 different cuts of filet from cows raised differently. Enjoyed the ambiance and the decor, and the bartender who waited on us was very knowledgeable and friendly!
This is by far the best brunch ever. Many different stations but the best one by far was the fresh ice cream station, offering tons of toppings! Will definitely be back.
Hands down the best Easter brunch buffet in town to date. Wow. What a spread. Last year went to the Hyatt and it was pretty sad.
It’s a fun place for some great steaks
The Easter Brunch was wonderful. Food selection outstanding, especially the meats. We need Gluten Free foods and Urban Farmer accommodated well. Our server was very nice. We plan to go there soon with friends.
James was an outstanding server!
The entire experience was excellent!
My experience at the urban farmer was nothing short of amazing. The service was incredible and the food was delicious! Very friendly staff, awesome menu, and great drinks!
Protein bowl and Farmer’s Omelet was delicious.
Excellent service, food was on point. Well done.
Food was delicious, great atmosphere, our table was a little cramped and not a lot of privacy but other than that it was a great experience
I love dining at the Urban Farmer. It’s my third time eating there, and each time it gets better. This time, the hostess was so charming and funny. She sat us in a perfect booth. We ordered the 6 oz. Ohio filet. It was the best steak I’ve ever had. And just the right size. And the Brussels sprouts were delicious. Our waitress recommended the potato side dish and we were not disappointed. We ended the meal with a flaming strawberry baked Alaska. So much fun.
Can’t wait to go back again!
Noise level during happy hour time was very high. We were having dinner and trying to talk. Besides that the food was good. I had the lamb pot pie and my guest had steak and a salad. Cornbread was really excellent. Everything is a la carte so very pricey. Decent wine list, also expensive.
Pearl Sugar Granola Waffle- yum!
The food is absolutely delicious, the drink selection (especially their bourbon list) is fantastic. The serving staff is always on point, fasts, and dedicated. I love coming here and will continue coming there for special occasions.
