Urban Curry, one of the most authentic Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese restaurants is a hidden gem. The exotic dishes on our menu are from both North and South Indian and Nepalese cuisine, reflecting the vast differences of South Asian delicacies. On our Indian menu we offer Chicken, Lamb, Seafood, Karahi Curry, Biryani, Tandoori, Naans/Breads/Rice, and many Vegetarian options. From our Nepali menu, you can enjoy Momo, Chowmein, Fried Rice, Chilli's and delicious desserts like Kheer and Kulfi. Urban Curry brings you a world of flavors that is not easy to come by. We are able to achieve them because the spices and herbs we use are specially imported from India & Pakistan, and they are freshly ground for every recipe. We also use only Halal meat. Loved this place. My friends and I chose this place because it was close to where we were staying that weekend, and we were drawn in by the photos on their entrance. The naan bread was delicious. Very delicious food and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming.

Great experience and even got to meet the two friendly owners this time. I am a local and live in North Beach so often go there as its great tasty food and excellent service.

It is not a place for a romantic gathering, business, impress your companion, etc. Tired furniture, bad lighting, the kitchen is not separated from the dining room so, the smell is strong. Pretty decent Indian meals, reasonable prices. Servers do their job, but don't expect all-smiles staff.

Got there early on a Sunday, so there were only one or two tables occupied. Friendly servers and efficient service. The menu had the usual curry dishes, but sadly no peshwari naan. We had garlic naan, which was good nonetheless. The chicken jalfrezi was tasty with chicken breast and thigh meat and plenty of peppers. No green chill is though, although the spice level was good. Overall, this was a good curry experience.

$15 lunch buffet was great value. It has a great food selection with Nanh and Chai tea. Great value of order from the menu. Great for group. Enjoyed it.

Our group got main courses to share family style (chicken makhani, lamb korma, paneer saag) plus garlic naan, potato naan, and chapati. The chapati were a bit spicier than I'm used to getting, which was surprising but not bad, and they were very crispy and still hot from being cooked. Mango lassi helped with the spice. Also: free chai. A++ would nom again.
