Up the Creek is a favorite for our family when ever we visit Vail. Never disappointed!
I have been coming to their restaurant for at least 10 years, I Liv coming back here. The food is always wonderful and the service is great.
Excellent food. Our server was great. We had a great experience. Will definitely return next time we visit Vail!!
Great food , great service and a very nice location looking out on the ice sculptures
Have been several times and eill go back.
It was a busy Saturday night so there was a bit of a wait but the staff handled it well. Our server, Jesse, was excellent, and, despite the busy restaurant, remembered the birthday at our table without being reminded. Very nice! Try to get a table away from the front door to avoid cold drafts.
Outstanding clam chowder, truffle fries and Reuben.
We go to Vail every year and Up the Creek is our most frequented restaurant. We went twice this visit. The scallops are to die for and the last time we went I had the short rib. Delicious! I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite salad is the Arugula with pears. Definitely add this restaurant to your list of musts.
One of the really good Vail restaurants, with creative entrees, friendly service, and good atmosphere.
Excellent food. Everything was perfect. Don’t think that you can just drop in here - you will need a reservation
Great cocktails! The entire meal was remarkable. We tried the arugula, beet and organic salads - all on point. We followed up with the braised short rib, trout and salmon; again all winners. Year after year we have up the creek on our list of places to dine during our annual trip to Vail - never disappoints.
Fantastic food! The trout was delicious!
My wife and I had a very nice dinner at Up The Creek this week. The food was excellent and the service was great. Two thumbs up!
The decor and presentation was lacking. The food would’ve gotten a higher review had the presentation been improved. We were excited to try a new place in Vail, and were sadly disappointed. We heard the lunch is better....
A delicious menu with a gorgeous setting on Gore Creek. We had the soup of the day, an arugula salad, and mains of lamb chops and elk - both cooked to perfection and with creative complements. I had the elk, which was on a bed of risotto and brussel sprouts. Oh, did I mention their cocktails and wine?!? I had the ginger beet martini which is to die for, not too sweet. They also have a fantastic and well rounded wine list. Their dessert choices were mouth watering, but we behaved ourselves and shared three delicious scoops of lemon sorbet, vanilla ice cream and salted caramel ice cream (OK, almost behaved ourselves)
