Great place for brunch - the food was delivered quick, a craft of mimosas left on the table! Great weekend spot
Server was awesome. We ended up waiting 30 min for our table, but service made up for it
Very fun atmosphere! Great music if you like hip hop, and the food is tasty! The service is outstanding!
The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. I would come here again when I return to the city.
Great spot to meet up with friends. Drinks are good and they have some nice cocktail options. We shared a bunch of small plates and everything was delicious. As others have mentioned can get a little noisy. Would definitely recommend!
brunch was great! the avocado toast was amazing and the bottomless mimosas such a good deal!
It was my birthday. The waiter checked everybody’s ID and noticed the date of my birthday. He asked if we were here to celebrate and I said yes. Once we were done with our meals, he brought out a dessert with a candle for my birthday. It was very sweet and made our experience even better
Food was very good,a novelty average, and very reasonably priced. We had burgers and the fish tacos with calamari start and all very good. My black bean side with a dollop of avocado and cojito cheese was a standout. A bit loud at first but once the happy hour crowd left a really pleasant evening. We spend here before seeing a band at City Winery. Would definitely return.
Waitress was not attentive, small restaurant. About 3 tables open when I was there. The food came out and it looked as though it was from the day before.
Our server was fantastic very attentive and patient. Timing of food and drinks were fantastic
Overall, this is a great brunch spot! They have a flat rate brunch menu ($36 pp) inclusive of an entree + bottomless mimosas or bellinis and the food is spot on! The server our day was really sweet but looked overwhelmed by how many tables she was managing at once. I like that they give you carafes for the table so they don't have to come back 10 times to fill up the small champagne flutes. Only negative is it's just SO loud, especially if you have a group of college/22-year olds screaming at each other. Eitherway, i'd still recommend/go back!
Nice dinner great service
I had a great time! It's a very loud-party-screaming-style bottomless brunch spot.
A lot of vocal fry, a lot of clones taking selfies, and mindlessly scrolling through instagram stories.
There's nothing wrong with that...except when you're a party of 10 waiting to be sat and all you see if selfies being snapped and 9/10ths of the table on social media.
Anyway! I'll be back but maybe as one of the first tables to get sat when they open - their boozy brunch deal is a winner and the food is on point! :)
Union Bar is such a fun brunch experience! Not a very large place - wouldn’t recommend for a party of more than 8 or so. They play great music, and it’s always very lively/loud. The bottomless drink option is also not very pricey, and they bring new pitchers quickly. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Shoutout to Tony and Evyn!!
The service at this restaurant is amazing (Michael could not be nicer or more helpful). Solid American fare, from a variety of unique and fresh salads to burger and sandwiches, all with a special touch. Full bar with great beer selection and craft cocktails. Excellent spot in Hudson Square.
Our waiter was great and the food was really good but it was really loud and crowded. There were people standing around that was basically hovering over my table.
Fun brunch spot with a young, energetic crowd.
Great place. Amazing food. Phenomenal service. Hip ambience. Thoughtful lighting. At first glance, the menu seems a little pricey, but the food is sooooooo delicious... it's worth every single penny. The music was a bit too loud, but that is my only complaint.
Enjoyed a nice brunch for 6 and wasn't to crazy that we can hear each other talk. Our server Evan was a doll... super helpful and friendly. Bottomless brunch was worth it.
We loved our waitress
Our brunch was luke warm and the eggs were cold; overall the drinks were good
BEST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH!!! The food was incredible and such a variety of options, not to mention for a little over $30 you can do bottomless mimosa, Bellini, bloody Mary’s and switch between them all. Great vibes with really fun people and helpful staff. Restaraunts interior is gorgeous and spirited for the holiday season
I recommend this place. Everything was fine except two things that hopefully was only in that moment: 1) the eggs were not cooked properly and not running as it was ordered 2) the female waitress or hostess who occasionally came to our table, her tone could improve especially for the nice, positive, buzzy brunch vibe in the entire restaurant. There was a male host who was great! Very personable. Thankfully his good attitude was enough to override the aforementioned women's tone. Rest of the food was good too!
Michael was the best! They were definitely understaffed but the service was still great they were on top of their game! Food PHENOMENAL as usual! Can’t wait to visit again
The service was amazing. The salad I ordered had so much dressing on it that it was soup. The server took it off immediately from the bill.
One of my favorite brunch spots in the city!
Awful food. Restaurant was empty and was pumping loud music thoughtlessly.
Decent food and drinks for brunch. Super loud !
We waited for 15 minutes after being seated for someone to even come give us water and ask about drinks (to the point where the table next to us joked that they would be willing to share food). The service was lackluster throughout, and to top it off, we got a "no show" email from Open Table saying that the restaurant recorded us as not coming. Clearly they took even less notice of us than we'd even thought! You have to laugh.
We came for Sunday brunch as it was very conveniently located. It was busy but the wait staff did get us anything we asked for (and trust me, my friend asked for quite a lot). The food was tasty and there were gluten free options. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My only issue was that I had to order more food at the end as I was not full - the portions were on the small side. However, knowing that, I would come again but I would order a salad to go with my meal (the one that comes with the eggs is too small).
Service dismal. Took 20 minutes to get first drink, they arrived watered down and bad. Some dishes good (tater tots, fried chicken, French fries) others were just bad (fish tacos). Server recommended a good bottle of wine towards the end.
Staff is amazing and always make the experience phenomenal!!
We were seated 50 minutes after our reservation time and then waited another 30 minutes to receive our first round of drinks or any attention for that matter from any of the attendants.
The food was great, service was ok, but it the music was way to loud for brunch!
I was disappointed with my experience. I brought a big group of friends and was looking forward to a nice evening together. We thought the restaurant was beautiful, but the service left a lot to be desired. It took 15 minutes to get each round of drinks. The server was hesitant to come assist us. I had to go request drinks from the bartender personally. I also had to ask the server to clear our table because our finished plates had been sitting for a disappointing amount of time. Gratuity was included but I did not believe the service was representative of the amount given. I would recommend a different experience.
Went for bottomless brunch. Really good deal! $35 for an entree brunch item, side, and unlimited mimosas, bloody mary's, and bellinis. Nice, fast service, in a fun atmosphere. A little loud, but to be expected with a deal like that.
Michael was a great server! Was a awesome brunch meal :)
Evan was a very good server as was the gentleman from Boston. Food was excellent. Print new menus and refinish the banquets.
