Great food, excellent service. We look forward to going back but make a reservation as this place is busy.

We love the food at Union. They have maintained some favorites like the chop but also offer great specials. The owners are present and always friendly. They also manage our needs for gluten free options with care.

Our waiter was not very attentive at all. This is usually not the case when we dine here. It took a very long time from when we ordered drinks and water until we got anything at all. The waiter never stopped back to ask us how our food was after other people brought it to us. I’m not sure what his role was besides just taking our order and bringing us the bill. I did see him standing around doing nothing. Food was excellent, as usual.

Union is usually reliable with excellent food, great service and nice drink and happy hour specials. Unfortunately this time, after touting the restaurant to the friends we brought, we had to wait ~25 minutes after our reservation for a table, had very slow beverage service, found out they were out of several menu items, and the tenderloin was very poor quality (my steak lover family member was VERY disappointed)

had meatloaf, not sure why it came with fries vs mashed potatoes. wasnt really a sandwich. salmon was good. only comment was with there were a better sauce to go with the hush puppies, the sauce with salmon wasnt really a good match. all in all nice atmosphere and good experience. no waiting for patio which had a good heater.

Clearly the best restaurant in Douglas County! My husband and I had the Pork chops which is our favorite item in the menu.

My book club decided to meet at this restaurant and we had a wonderful time. Everyone raved about their meals, the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful night. This remains one of my favorite restaurants in Castle Rock.

All was fine until our meals arrived. My meal (pork chop) was fine; a little overcooked, but with the apple chutney and cider sauce it didn't seem too dry. However my husbands meal was way overcooked. He ordered the tenderloin cooked medium rare. It arrived just barely pink (slightly overcooked than medium WELL). He reluctantly sent it back. Our server brought the recooked steak to us some time after (I had finished my meal in the time we waited). This time the steak was just barely seared on the outsides and the inside was cold and purple (probably the rarest of rare there is). Our server offered to take it back and have them cook it some more and was very apologetic. Given that I was already finished, my husband opted to simply take it home. The meal was removed from our bill and it was obvious our server was quite frustrated with the kitchen staff. Not once during these issues did a manager stop by to acknowledge the mistake or apologize. We're quite certain there were TWO managers on duty that evening- the guy at the host stand and another who was circling the dining room/bar. I've since reached out to the staff at Union via their FB page and although I can see they viewed my message close to 48 hours ago, they haven't bothered (again) to acknowledge these concerns. It's a guarantee we will not be returning. All other previous visits have been sub-par and if this is how they run a business, I'll opt to spend my money and enjoy my time elsewhere. So many other better spots in Castle Rock and likely more to come.

This stop was for lunch after a medical visit in the area. The food was unique, tasty and attractive. The Coconut Cream Pie, home made, was special. Our server, Tyler, countdown not have been more accommodating . We had lunch here a year ago and we hope it will not be a year before we get back. Outstanding!

Another dessert item or two would be nice. The carrot cake looks nice, but a lot of people do not eat carrot cake. Maybe a chocolate layer cake or banana pudding.

Union is an excellent place to eat. I have been going to this restaurant for 4 years and have always had excellent service and delicious food. So yummy you won't be disappointed. Every meal can, usually, be augmented to your specifications.

Union was a let down. All the reviews said it was great but I'm just not seeing it. The food all had the same spice on it so they all tasted the same from fish tacos to tater tots. They were tapas plates but really more like apps for two not a group of people. Prices were high for what you get as well. We actually left early. The margaritas need a redue and the wine was over priced compared to other nicer restaurants up the street. The atomosphere was so so. I recommend the patio as the inside had more of a small dinner feel.

We enjoyed the food very much and our server was very attentive. Good cocktail selection. The big drawback for us is that the dining room was EXTREMELY loud. I think the patio would be a great place to dine, or sip cocktails with some tapas and would go back for this kind of evening. Probably won't go back to the dining room though.

Beef tenderloin under $30 better than most I've had at twice the price or more. Great chops, wine selection, desserts. No craft beers on tap, which I thought was a little strange, but other than that, no complaints.

We ordered two salads and one sandwich. The portion sizes are large, although I ate all of my salad, the arugula and salmon. Delicious! Prices are a little high, but the food was so good.

We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. The salmon salad, tostada salad and pulled pork sandwich were excellent choices. And if you like brussel sprouts, theirs are shredded, tossed with butter and bacon and very nicely done. My husband also really liked his cole slaw.

Delightful staff, owner on-sight and working hard. Very well done facility, nice looks, good flow, varied seating options from the bar to the dining room or outside patio. Drinks were reasonable and food was just fantastic. First time visiting, not the last. Already told two couples about our experience just 2 days ago.

Lived in Castle Rock for 15 years before coming here, and I have to say it’s awesome. The portions are a bit small for the price; so keep a full wallet in mind, but the food is excellent, the servers are lively, the ambiance is excellent, and I enjoyed my time there immensely.

Its a little Bourgie, not something I expected in castle rock but nice food was good a lot of is say 40-70s crowd while we were 20-30s. If a price scale was to be used from low $-high$$$$$ I would give it a $$$.5 not the yelp $$. Waitress was nice came by the perfect amount while I waited for the rest of my party. My brothers dish had a decorative black cocktail napkin in it he accidentally ate part of. Good atmosphere for cocktails and a double date. The blackberry salmon was great. Falafel was a good texture but needed just a little more flavor. Restaurant favorite cab sav was decent. I would try a different one next time. Was seated quickly on a Wednesday evening when it looked packed.
