Uni Sushi is a sophisticated Japanese/European fusion experience that’s not all about fish. You can cozy up to your dining partner over such delicacies as the Chilean Sea Bass, Kobe Beef Hibachi, Firecracker Chicken, and the ever popular Rib-Eye Beef Rolls.
Uni Sushi also offers an extensive drink list from domestic and imported beers to the finest sakes. The bar is the perfect place to enjoy a selection of fine wines as well as creative and calming martinis.

Background music loud and disco club style. Although waiter lowered volume on request still it was annoying. They need to get music that goes with dining otherwise current selection just spoils experience.
Uni is hands down our favorite sushi spot on the north side of Houston. Start with the lobster rolls, they are delicious and could be my whole meal if the sushi wasn’t so dang good! Ask for some off the menu rolls as well or for them to custom make you something. Our fave off menu rolls are the FooDog and 8 1/2 roll! The amazon is another off menu fave
The best service we have had in TW by Frank. Great sushi too.
Fresh, flavorful, unique.
Good service too.
Skip the fruit sake. Not bad, just better if distilled from the fruit rather than infused.
I will only eat sushi from here. It’s extremely fresh and their rolls are amazing! (I crave this place!)
Always the best food-super fresh! The staff is amazing as I consider family they are wonderful!!
This is a go to spot for my best friend and I to hit before a concert. It’s a short walk from the pavilion and a better alternative to the concession stand food they serve there. It has great drinks and the food is always good. Whether you like sushi or not, they also serve great alternatives. The food is always fresh and delicious and the restaurant is always very clean. Highly recommend!
Note: It can get busy on the weekends or on concert nights so be sure to make reservations because the wait can be quite long.
Great food, service and good wine. One of my regular stops for dinner during business trips to The Woodlands. Never disappointed!!!
Great and fresh sushi! We always enjoy this restaurant.
A great find right in Market Street.i had eaten at this restaurant once for lunch. This time I dined in at the sushi bar on a crowded Saturday night! The fish was fresh and the staff was awesome!!
Out of gluten free soy sauce even though advertise GF. The grocer 1/4 mile away carries GF. Seems ridiculous to NOT restock this simple ingredient.
Wonderful dinner! Super fresh, top quality sushi and sashimi and great service - by far the best sushi spot in N. Houston!!
This was the perfect restaurant to meet at for dinner and drinks before a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell pavilion. We had the lobster and crab rolls, u & i, 7 & 1/2, & Lickety Split. All were excellent!
We always order off the menu and they make it perfectly every time. No questions asked. We LOVE Uni Sushi!
I could do without the attitude every time I go into this restaurant.
Great atmosphere & good service. Food’s simply OK. We will not be going back.
Very enjoyable evening. Good food, attentive service, and great for tapas style/sharing. Our party of 4 ordered several specialty rolls, squid salad, rib eye beef rolls, beef tatami, crispy fried fish - and all tasted good. The cookie semifreddo and the mango coconut panda cotta desserts were excellent. It is our “go to spot”.
Great as usual. Very fresh and innovative sushi. Seated promptly and enjoyed our meal.
Disappointed that none of the sauces were made gluten feee like the waiter indicated and instead were completely left off
Loved the atmosphere and food was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Floor was very dirty quick sweeping would help alot
Over all a very good experience. I always order the same dish and it's consistent
Restaurant was closed but accepted my reservation!
This is the best Sushi ever!! Presentation is delectable, but more important is the fish is fresh and delicious!! the specialty cocktails are great too!! Our server was very attentive and friendly and helpful with suggestions!!!
The food and service was great and competively priced for sushi in the area
best in the woodlands , always fresh..................................................................................................................................@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The customers I took there ordered a bottomless of Chardonnay that was not chilled. $80 for a room temperature bottle. They went along with it and didn't ruin the evening, but they were annoyed. Server was young and inexperienced and should have shared it wasn't cold before serving it. Otherwise we had a great evening there.
So yummy and the portions are quite filling
Been here several times now and this was the first I have received poor service. Food is always good here. Come here before concerts at the Woodlands. Service was absent for long periods of time, with drinks running low continually. Other than service, everything was fine.
As always amazing food and excellent service. One of the best sushi places in Houston area
Good food - great service - would recommend the dining experience to anyone
Wonderful dinner! Thank you!
Went to Uni Sushi last Wednesday night as a party of 4. High marks for the food, decor, and drinks. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. However, the wait for our food and eventually for our check was very, very long. The waiter explained that the wait had to do with "the bartender disappearing", but that didn't explain why we didn't see our waiter past the point of getting our drinks.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and it was fabulous, as usual. We loved our 7 1/2 roll of sushi (a favorite and unique to Uni Sushi). We enjoyed our pan fried dumplings and lobster rolls for appetizers (favorites again!). Then, the birthday girl ordered the shrimp avocado miso soup and loved it. We ordered the shrimp and scallop bento, which comes with a salad and their miso dressing, which we cannot ever eat there without getting. The shrimp and scallops are cooked in a soy brown butter sauce with thinly sliced jalapenos, which is to die for. The vegetables are tempura fried and the rice has two types of sesame seeds on it for extra flavor. For dessert, she chose the Mango Coconut Panna Cotta. At first, I was sad because they make the best vanilla bean crème brulee that I have ever tasted, but, this dish proved to be excellent!! We loved every bite. We love Uni Sushi and are so happy that it is close to home. Our only disappointment that day was that our waiter had to double as bartender, too, but, we had a great bus-man picking up the slack nobley. All in all, we are happy to have chosen Uni again!!
I dont care for sushi but I really like their shaggy dog roll. The ambience is nice, albeit difficult to read the menu bc the lights are so dim. The service is pretty good, though.
Excellent sushi with wide menu; good wine list and great service.
I had a great second date here. We shared a Millenium roll, Scuba roll, few pieces of escolar, and she wanted to try octopus. The ambience, as well Blueberry Mojitos, really allowed for entertaining conversation. The only thing I would've changed would be the size of table, but it's nothing sitting beside her couldn't alleviate. The sushi and rolls were very delicious. Interesting, in a good way, flavor combinations. The wait staff was not overbearing while still being attentive.
The food was great the service wasnt so bad it just wasnt up to par with what i have come to expect from uni
Kind of loud- good food, not an everyday place but good on occasion imo!
Uni is the go-to sushi restaurant for my husband and me. It never disappoints! Their obster and shrimp rolls are a must!
