Undici is the recreation of a Tuscan farmhouse. The stone, woods, plaster and tile are all reminiscent of an era passed. The cuisine consists of the freshest quality ingredients available at market. This allows us to change our menus daily to provide continuing freshness and change. The menu is truly rustic Italian. All of our pasta,including gnocchi and ravioli, are homemade daily using only Caputo Italian flour.

Had been a few times. Went on Saturday with friends. Made reservation weeks in advance. Hostess was welcoming enough, but waited 30 minutes for table. This can happen, so no problem really. Were taken upstairs which was disappointing. Atmosphere not nearly as nice as downstairs. The four of us ordered two bottles of wine, appetizers and dinners. Server was friendly and attentive. Ordered four coffees and desserts. My wife was served her coffee first. The manager, our server and a woman server who we had not seen previously came all at one time to serve the remaining three coffees. The manager placed one coffee in front of me, and our server placed one in front of one of our friends. The third woman server, who seemed to be in a rush, went behind our other friend and without a word slid the coffee almost under my friend's arm. Unfortunately, being unaware anything was being served to her, our friend hit the cup which caused the glass to break and coffee to spill all over, mostly in my direction. This waitress then just turned and left without a word, leaving the other two to clean up the spill. There was no apology from anyone. When I mentioned that my sweater was soaked through, the manager replied that his suit was wet as well. He was not rude in his tone, but his reply to me was totally inappropriate. Following some discussion and prompting on our part, the manager finally agreed to pay for my cleaning bill. He also offered on his own to comp our coffees. We appreciated that, but this incident could have been handled so much better. So while the food is good and the wine list very good. We can't really give more than three stars....

First time that we’ve been at this place and it is a gem. It was exceptional. We had the Bolognese, grilled Octopus, and the rabbit. The rabbit was very moist and tender, the Bolognese was really Italian Trattoria style and the Octopus had a great grill flavor to it. We will definitely be back!

Went here for quiet conversation, a nice night out with my husband because we needed some quality time. We arrived at 6:20 and even though only a few tables had patrons, the noise level was out of control. Something must be done with the acoustics. Our server actually had to wait for people at the next table to stop laughing so he could be heard as he told us the specials. We found that we couldn't speak at a conversational level for the entire dining experience. As much as the food was good, this was a real turnoff.

This is a very popular restaurant. I would suggest any diners request a table not in the middle of the main dining room, where we were seated, at peak hours. The noise level makes it hard to have a conversation. Our waiter even had to yell out the nightly specials. All 5 of us loved the food, it was delicious. 5 different pasta orders all cooked to perfection.Server was very knowledgeable. They have a very nice extensive wine list.

Fantastic fantastic. Some friends recommended Undici said it is amazing and it was. Will definitely go back. Our waiter Michael was awesome,the bartender great and the the whole staff #1 . The only fault very loud. Other then that we will be back . 😊

Food was good, but portions were small, even for me at 150lbs. Good thing we ordered pizza appetizers or we would have left hungry. I never like Ala Carte everything. If you want a veg, salad, soup or potato, you buy it . Average price for a "meal" with a side is about 40-50 dollars. Service was good. Its basically a bar restaurant set up. You are paying for the "Rumson" location period.

It's been a while but with some colleagues in from out of town figured as good a time as any to return. Did not disappoint in the least, our choices ranged from standard bolognes to salmon and everyone raved about the flavor and the freshness. The octopus app is not to be missed. Wine list can be intimidating but the staff always picks a winner.

Everything was great except the hostesses, which there were 3 of. They lamented how they were short a bus boy and things were taking a while for us to get seated. I would have been thrown onto bus duty when I worked in a restaurant so many moons ago, but Instagram obviously takes priority today. Super cozy decor in ritzy Rumson without the holier than thou vibe. They have a Sommlier on site, who was great. We had the misto to start- great selection of meats and cheeses, and I had rabbit and she had a lamb shank. Left full and satisfied. $170 all in with 4 glasses of fantastic wine and a beer. Will definitely be back.

Thank you for asking. The lighting was perfect, however it was very noisy, my husband kept saying (what did you say). The food was tasty but my portion was so small I couldn't believe it. I ordered the Merluzzo Lemone which was cod, lemon, capers, potatoes and string beans. The price for the cod dish was either 34 or 32 dollars, which was ridiculous considering how small it was, I am 5ft 6 inches 120 lbs. so what I'm trying to say is if it was ridiculously small for me I can't imagine a larger person being satisfied. It was like that old Wendy's advertisement ( WHERES THE BEEF!!) Where's the rest of my meal!! So needless to say we won't be returning to Undici in Rumson.

Undicis took such great care of my party (of 4 adults + 1 four y.o. + 1 seven m.o.)! Laura and Joe were fantastic: very caring, catered to all of our needs and never once made us feel like we were being rushed. They were so good with our kids too! Undicis is 80+ miles from our house and we always look for excuses to dine there. Just can't say enough about the food, the ambiance, and the staff. Having dined here about a dozen times before, this evening's meal and how they treated us like family is what we have come to know and love Undicis for. It's an absolute gem of a restaurant. Grazie!!

Undici never disappoints. This dinner was particularly special because my daughter, her husband and kids were here for the holidays. They now live in California. But their first dinner-date was here at the old Hook Line & Sinker. I really wanted my grandchildren to see where it all began for their parents. The wait-staff made it all the more special. The food was terrific! Great evening!
