We had a great time at the restaurant. The service was top notch. Food was perfect. We got the ringlets to start and the sauce was outstanding. I had the duck and my wife had the scallops both were cooked perfectly. The restaurant followed all the covid-19 restrictions and we felt very comfortable there. The noise level was low and the experience was overall great.
Fabulous as always!
Lovely evening under the festive tent at Underhill Crossing. Service was great, food was very good and was impressed with quality of the meal. Haven't eaten here in 10 years but have to say it's way better than I remembered. We will be back!
Parents date night during crazy COVID times. Social distancing was perfect, felt totally comfortable. First time having dinner here, brunch/lunch has always been excellent, this was absolutely perfect and much needed to forget a long year. Food was amazing, escargot and duck a must. Service and was excellent, cocktails and wine selection arrived promptly unfortunately we were getting “TOO” comfortable but due to drive back to city we had to behave, wish we could have stayed for dessert & after dinner drinks, hoping to try again in 2021!
The starters - Kale Salad, Smoked salmon, Rock Shrimp, Tuna Tartar and Burrata were excellent. We tried a new dish, Fish Taco which was also very good.
The main course we had were the Branzino which was Very good. The rice that came with it was almost like sweet rice that we like.
The Halibut was excellent. The risotto that came with it was really very good.
We missed Nicole who had been excellent the last time but our server Gennaro was also very good. He has a good sense of humor and made some excellent recommendations.
Great food & drinks - a little cold outside but what can you expect in December. We would 100% go back for the food, drink & service.
Friendly staff - particularly the bartenders. Many unique menu choices and generous portions. Great selection of wines by the glass. Very popular place so we had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. They could have seated us earlier outdoors but it was 30 degrees and even heat lamps don't take off that much of a chill.
Wonderful ! They do it right in Westchester. Food and ambiance AND service is amazing.
The service was great and food was delicious. We paid $50 a person after tax and tip for brunch which was pricey. We only got the brunch meal per person which came with a drink and bagel pieces & jam.
Staff was wonderful. Food was delicious! Look forward to returning.
I like Underhills Crossing and eat there regularly so I was very pleased to see that they set up outdoor dining with several heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters don't provide enough warmth to be able to have a meal in comfort. I left early because I was so cold. I hope that they add more heaters so that we will be able to eat there through the winter.
Best fare by far in Bronxville and environs. Service and ambiance are pleasant and not pretentious.
Excellent Friendly Staff
Delicious Perfectly Cooked Cuisine
We came in for brunch. Everyone was nicely distanced. Food and service were excellent as we had heard about. Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros consumed with gusto and washed down with mimosas! Thanks!
Most attentive service in local area around. Attention is paid to details of presentation and ambiance. Particularly commendable in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The food was incredible and the ambiance was perfect!
Outdoor dining is a challenge and this restaurant has met the challenge quite nicely,The staff was very polite and helpful.Good variety of menu choices.
Delicious and excellent as always!
Nice meal in a comfortable spot
Food was good, but service was poor. We were seated outside and were pretty much ignored by the wait staff.
Outside setup is fine, service not so fine.
The staff is wonderful; cheerful and dedicated to service.
The menu is as varied and interesting as you can imagine and the quality of what they produce is always exceptional.
Sunday brunch is magical
The food was good specially the appetizers, the tuna tartare, steak tartare and octopus were delicious and for entree my wife got short ribs, the taste of the short ribs was delicious.
We sat outside which unfortunately wasn't the best choice given the weather! Otherwise a very pleasant lunch.
The Cobb salad was skimpy and not enough of anything even the lettuces! Only 3 lardons and very little blue cheese, plus the tomatoes were awful! Should have left them off! Chicken was overcooked and tough!
My friend Jennifer enjoyed her salmon entree and I loved the veal chop with arugula salad with chopped tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. She loved her cappuccino and I enjoyed the dessert! Lovely ambiance! Friendly service as Kevin is always so nice and greets us with a smile! Excellent service by Richard & Sergio. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Fantastic service, fantastic food. Highly recommend for Sunday evening when the place isn't so packed and too busy for my tastes.
Underhills Crossing is consistently top-notch! You can expect good food, good service and fun, energetic atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great brunch, lunch and dinner spot.
My friend Dawn enjoyed the Tuna Tartar and I loved the 2 mini fish taco’s! The ambiance was quiet and lovely. The service was very good. One of the servers Kevin stopped by our table and he always greets us with a smile and is so caring to customers. The weekend Greek bartender was there and he was very nice.
The occasion was a mini high school reunion. Our waiter Kevin was most respectful of that fact and allowed us time to catch up. As always food was excellent.
Disappointed. Been here several times because the food is amazing. Each time, the service has been eh a little slow. Not feeling the love here while other patrons receive tons of attention and are regularly checked on. For example, why do I need to ask to refresh the water? Or to have the waiter stop by because I’ve decided to have a glass of wine with my meal. After our last visit, we decided to have a cooling period and spend our well earned money elsewhere.
The food was excellent... my only comment is that the lobster roll seemed a bit sparse on the lobster meat considering that it was supposed to be from a 1 lb lobster. And overpriced for what was there.
Lunch was absolutely delightful. We ordered four very different things and they all came out perfectly cooked beautifully plated delicious and so well priced. It’s a gem
This could be one of the worst meals I’ve had in a restaurant in recent memory. We got the chef‘s tasting and each course was worse than the previous. Something builders ravioli was not a ravioli at all it was a water pasta with some disgusting meat filling piled on top. My lobster tail was cold and dry not served with lemon or butter. The steak was overcooked and tough. The vegetables were cold. The two desserts we had were basically in edible, the chocolate cake was dry and cold. The only thing that we had that was good were the oysters. This is a place to go eat oysters and maybe get a burger. You should stay away from the fancier preparations. It’s a lovely restaurant in a nice setting on Main Street and it’s really a shame the food isn’t better, but it is pretty bad. And it’s quite expensive. And so not worth it!
This restaurant and its entire staff is an example of a work of art manifested through service, quality and ambiance in the food industry,
In all the years we have frequented this establishment, we have never had anything but an extraordinary experience.
Underhills proves that you don't have to go to NYC for a great restaurant. It's first rate in every way/ Very classy! A special place to take a special person. I took my wife there for Valentines Day lunch.
Amazing service. Great food. Fun vibe. Can’t ask for more. Oh, and really good bar!
In short the service was exceptional, friendly and attentive. Food delicious and perfectly cooked.
Near Perfect location for a business meeting. Good food, service and ambiance. Perhaps a tad noisy but workable.
Excellent food and atmosphere. A great vibe outside NYC.
