Overall the staff were nice, just slow. Waited at hostess stand for a few minutes before acknowledged. Waited at table for minutes before server arrived. Waited longer than normal for food and drinks. Tables not bussed in timely fashion. Ran out of wine glasses. Guess it’s the Covid labor shortage impact. Again, they were nice and food was good.
Food was delicious! Really enjoyed the jamón ibérico and jamón serrano. The seafood paella was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and service. Will be returning.
Great staff, amazing food, we really enjoyed the live music as well. One of my favorite restaurants.
Sampled through some of the Tapas menu. The grilled hanger steak and medjool dates were standouts. Also, the date cake was to die for. Service was friendly and attentive.
Good choice of tapas and very tasty. Our server, Biche, was excellent as usual. Changes to outdoor dining have made the ambiance less inviting.
Great service and the food was delicious.
This was our first time at Under the Cork Tree and it won’t be our last! We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with my husbands family and it did not disappoint. Everything from the service, to the food, to the love music was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for any special occasion or date night.
Thanks so much for a delicious anniversary dinner!
Understanding the difficulties of COVID safe dining, with limited table space available for outdoor dining, we had to eat inside. Air conditioning made it very cold. Wait staff did their best to accommodate us.
Very good experience. I will be returning and highly recommend to friends.
truffle was great, ribs spicy, cocktails were fantastic!
I love this restaurant and the food is OUTSTANDING! Make sure to get the artichokes and crispy potato small plate - you won't be disappointed. The salmon is UNBELIEVABLE! Was a bit disappointed they aren't offering the hummus app any longer (due to covid and you typically share it, but you share the other apps too SO PLEASE BRING IT BACK).
A unique tapas and Spanish theme restaurant in the Prado shopping center.
We had sunday brunch with one dining partner having delicious shrimp and grits, on spicy side and my other partner the spanish omlett.
I had great tapas [ 4 ] of Burrata and peaches' bone marrow to die for, Pan Purdue & Fois Gras Torchon [ French Toast] and yummy salt cod croquettes [ 4 mouthful sizes]
Since you changed your seasonal menu we now have very few choices. We are vegan/vegetarian and wish you would add a pasta with fresh tomatoes and veggies. Not salt, as little oil as possible. The kouboucha dish was delicious. We enjoyed our salads also!
the dessert options have improved a LOT since the last time we went there(pre-covid).
Food to see they are still around. Still need a few more veggie options. Overall, improved (it was always good), and a real local gem.
The service started off slow - we were on the side of the patio and felt sort of forgotten - but the staff were pleasant/nice when they did come to the table.
And throughout the evening, each time we ordered a drink, it took about 10-12 minutes to arrive - this was on a Saturday night but the restaurant did not seem overly busy. I don’t know the precise time it took because I wasn’t checking my watch but I remember each time thinking, “Man it’s taking a while to get our drink order delivered!”
We ordered three small plates – the potatoes and olives/almonds were good, the calamari was surprisingly not that great - I say surprising because I usually like calamari everywhere, but neither I nor my date ate much of it … it was partially bland and partially fishy-er than I generally like… Perhaps that’s intended, though, as there were bits of anchovies mixed in with the calamari… we didn’t notice that fine print about anchovies when we ordered the calamari.
Again, all of the staff members were pleasant to deal with and I will try the place again but I was a little disappointed with some of the food and the various delays.
Decided to check out this place for the patio experience based on the Alantian article last month. But once we saw the patio (looked like just a normal patio-nothin special to us) we decided to eat inside which we really like the deco and atmosphere. Our server was engaging and fun. Started with the walnut salad and the broccolini dishes—loved both. Also Tried the Parrillada. The chicken and the sausage were great, the pork was a little dry and the steak was a little “gamey”. Overall the experience was good.
This is a first time visit for me and my husband and definitely not the last. We went middle of the week so we can avoid crowd during weekend. We book a reservation for outside table. We love the menu especially having our favorite charcuterie meat and cheese options. We also sample the small plates and ordered a shared Parillada. Be prepared to wait for your order but it’s all worth it. Overall, food was very good as well as the service. We are already looking forward to come back.
Waited 25 minutes despite having a reservation. Then waited 15 minutes to see a waiter; then waited 15 minutes to have drinks. Sorry, all of that waiting and inattentive service overshadows whatever food will eventually be brought to the table. Will not return.
Every bite was delicious. This continues to be one of our favorites in Atlanta. Great atmosphere, friendly, unobtrusive service, and a stunning array of great tapas dishes.
Outdoor patio was perfect. Service was outstanding!! Food and wine list were amazing. Will definitely be back soon!!
Yummy food. Server seemed super busy like he had all the tables outside. We felt that he didn’t have time to come by at all or if he does he had to excuse himself multiple times to run to other tables.
This restaurant used to be a Tapas restaurant. There were small plates and could order a variety of foods. There were also big plates for those who wanted it.
This time we ordered from the small plates menu but the meals came on big plates. The same meals that used to come on small plates.
Talked to the manager and she had no clue what I was talking about. She thought I was complaining about big portions.
The whole idea of going to a Tapas restaurant is to try multiple different foods in small portions.
Not the same restaurant I used to love.
Had a great evening with a group of friends. The hostess was able to make special arrangements to seat us outside because it was such a nice evening which we very much appreciated. Because it was a smaller table, it was more crowded but after we removed the extra waters it was perfect. Our main waiter was efficient and the servers were very prompt.
Compliments to the chef because the food was outstanding. Of all things, the chicken skewers were one of our favorites along with the artichokes, calamari and truffle cachio e pepe.
Our reservation was for the patio which I recommend if the weather is accommodating. We shared a small Greek salad and several tapas. The salad was excellent with a tangy dressing. The fried artichoke is excellent as were the calamari and croquettes. The only disappointment was the patatas bravas which were over breaded. I prefer them the way they are served in Spain which is untreated. We had an excellent Portuguese albarino recommended by the waiter. Service was attentive but not overbearing which is perfect.
We were in the mood for tapas, so we were looking forward to having dinner here. The service was great, but the food was just OK. Out of the five tapas we ordered, we really liked one and the rest were marginal. The ambiance was nice, but I don’t think we’ll eat here again.
I’ve been there some times and I like to visit the restaurant. Though, this time we had a bad experience. A woman serving a drink to other table slipped on the floor and the drink fell on my boss, but she didn’t apologize at once and served that drink to that table without refill. Our server took care of us with towel but we were disappointed with that woman….
Wonderful dinner on the patio! Great service as always
Dined with friends and we all enjoyed
Arrived for Sunday Brunch. Patio was closed due to chance of rain. Hostess found us a table in the bar area that met Covid protocol. Service and food was great. We ordered mussels and seafood as tapa and shrimp and grits from the brunch menu. Portions were generous. Enough to share. Food was intentionally delivered in shifts so dishes didn't sit on the table getting cold! The Sunday Sangria was a hit! If you come for dinner, meats and veggies are wood fire grilled.
I truly like this restaurant food full of flavor. I order the octopus and patatas bravas the go to for appetizers and they did not disappoint. For dinner I had the lobster paella it was..... the rice was burned alot at the bottom where you could actually taste the burnt rice. The chicken paella I like much more. I guess it s late and they wanted to hurry and cook it and that's how it came out burnt.
OMG! You have to come here if you like Tapas...wait, GREAT TAPAS! We were a party of four and each plate had enough for four people. Our server was Charlton and he was awesome. His recommendations were "spot on!" Our first round were the ribs, croquettes, mussels, meatballs, calamari & greek salad. Second round were the ribs, calamari, greek salad, pork belly & dates. When I tell you we loved EVERYTHING! Trust me, every dish was finger lickin' good! If we had to pick the top three ...it would be the pork belly, ribs, & dates! If you don't want dessert but want something slightly sweet to close out the evening... order the DATES! Ewwww Chile! Who knew we would find this little gem in Sandy Springs! We are definitely coming back!
Great service and tapas!
Great restaurant, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Very nice place for a date, group or if you want to eat alone this is the place for you.
Great good and drink with comfortable, safe outside seating
Overall the experience was good for my Wife and I. We haven’t gone out to dine much these days for obvious reasons. We weren’t expecting it to make a huge impact but we had to admit that the inconsistent use of face masks by the Staff was annoying. Either wear them or not. Don’t have some of staff put them on and others not. Our preference would have been for all to wear them because as patrons we should not be left guessing if staff are vaccinated or not.
Great tapas menu. Most important, you can make a reservation for outdoor patio dining.
Great food and service and an awesome outside dining patio!
Location was wonderful. We were given indoor or outdoor options and seated right away. My server was also amazing. We ordered the paella and also some appetizers and the lamb rack. Our drinks came out on time and were really good. I have to say, the food was not as amazing as I had hoped but the overall atmosphere and service were good enough for me to give it another try.
It was pretty good. mostly a tapas bar. Not a big wine selection from what we saw. Service was decent. She seemed new, never told us her name. Was not our forte, but was pretty good.
Great food and a large patio. With all the yummy small plates, plan your meal carefully. Terrific wine pairings too.
I understand the enjoyment of live music, but when you’ve got a young guy on the patio with his amp seemingly turned up to 11 at a venue that prides itself on its romantic ambiance, it kills the experience.
