We frequent this restaurant at least every 3 weeks. We feel like we're going to our family's restaurant.
Food consistently good, very friendly staff and so close to home. We recommend it highly, especially if you love lamb chops and fish
We liked both the food and service. The grilled bronzino was excellent. We liked the tomato greek salad, the spinach pie, the tomato fritters etc.
Always consistently good food. We enjoy the familiarity of the staff and ambiance
Seems to have new waiting staff now instead of family members who were not trained for restaurant biz and barely spoke English and not quite cut out to scan room and look out for demand. Today the service is professional and swift and menu is similar as before but solid. The only gripe is that the cloth napkin still leaves white stuff on black clothes or even jeans. How about just paper napkins? Save money and save my effort to brush off
We loved the grilled fish, the Greek tomato salad and other wonderful appetizers such as fritters and spinach pie. The food and service were great
Great local Greek restaurant. Wonderful fish and taramasalta. Friendly staff.
We love it as friendly local Place with decent food and warm welcoming service
We enjoyed the service and food. Highly recommended!
Love this neighborhood restaurant. Always consistently good
Always have a very good meal here including great rose wine. Service is first class.
Like a trip to Mykonos!
We had grilled octopus, hortaki salad and livraki(branzino)
And finished with the honeycake!
This is a wonderful little casual Greek restaurant with consistently great food and service. We loved the salads, the spreads, the Dorado, the eggplant. The manger came over often to check on us and explain what we were eating.
And the baklava, already cut up for us, was sublime. Best I’ve ever had.
Love this restaurant, the owner and the staff. Always delicious food. We’ve never had anything we didn’t love.
We frequent Under the bridge at least once every 3 weeks. Friendly service, good food. Don’t rush you. Really try and accommodate your needs. It’s out go to restaurant and highly recommended to all my friends and acquaintances
Great grilled fish such as snapper and bronzing. Excellent appetizers too including tomato and feta Greek salad, spinacb pie and grilled goat cheese. An excellent experience
Best fish in town. Best greek dishes in town. Great personal service. Excellent wine.
We loved the grilled bronzing fish, the Greek tomato and feta salad, and miscellaneous appetizers like the spinach pie, egg plant fritters and haloumi ( grilled goat cheese) .
Great food, friendly staff. Great neighborhood restaurant. Recommended to many friends.
The table staff took a while to clear our table once we were done, but the food more than made up for it.
Very welcoming and accommodating.
Lamb chops, “Greek fries”, eggplant dip, Greek salad & octopus were excellent! Whole dorado was a little dry, I recommend getting the fish whole rather than split & deboned to prevent this. Next time!
Have been here many times. Never disappointed. The baby lamb chops are the best ever. Great food. Great service.
A hidden gem in the neighborhood
Excellent in every way
Food was delicious. Large portions. It needs a facelift. Will go back.
Regular dining spot convenience to hospital. Food is well prepared. Chicken was excellent. Tasty succulent apiced perfectly, mousaka was unique and well prepared. Octopus was the best. I have tasted frilled octopus in some of the best restaurants in NYC Boston and this was the best. Friendly staff and owners. Recommend highly
Usually I have the excellent swordfish, this time I tried the lamb chops-delicious!!!
This is my go to neighborhood restaurant. Love the food and staff very friendly. I actually order the same thing when go and enjoy each time
Generally good food, not great. Eggplant dishes both had overly charred eggplant. Tomatoes in Greek salad were meh! Should have been spectacular this time of year. Mussels were outstanding. A bit pricey for what it is.
The Services was really good. The French toast was really good too.
This restaurant is a gem! Excellent food - fresh! I try to eat at Under the Bridge every time I am in NYC!
Always consistently Good
We are outside which is a great way to enjoy Under the Bridge
Food, service, and vibe were perfect. A bit noisy but the food made up for it!
delicious food, but can get noisy at times. wonderful grilled octopus.
grilled octopus was wonderful. good neighborhood spot
Both the food and service were very nice. We loved the grilled fish, the Greek tomato salad and the fritters. Very well done
Food was excellent. Late lunch and the place only had 3 tables so no waiting. The bartender/server looked like she had just gotten out of bed. She spent considerable time staring off into the distance. Been there many times and will probably go back there again. Hopefully this was a atypical day.
Arrived for early dinner, front door was wide open, place was empty, some street noise filters in, became quickly crowded ( small dining area) with lots of folks all talking and all happy. Perfect ! Now it felt like a Greek taverna. Wait staff very helpful and attentive, they shared tables if your original wait person was busy. Meals were great, flavorful, well prepared, plentiful enough so that the ladies had to order their baclava to go. Owner ? Maybe Chef ? Wandered floor making sure all was correct. Fair wine list. Will go back next time we are in town.
Food is great quality and delicious.
