Fun place to grab a bit to eat before a Cubs game. Great food and drink options. At this visit, the server was very slow at providing our beer. We spent about half of our meal with no drinks. We have had excellent service in the past, so maybe our server was stretched too thin. We noticed a few other tables sitting in her section looking for her to close out bills. Absent that, we had a great meal. I'll definitely be back!

First time there and will go back again. Location is great being close to Wrigley, decor was great, food was outstanding, but the service was disappointing. It didn't take very long to get our food, but we sat we dirty dishes for well over 10 minutes and it took way to long to get our check. Our server was nowhere to be found and I finally had to flag down the owner to ask for our check. He couldn't find the server right away either so it took a while to finish up. Our server was friendly and courteous, but very, very slow. Overall great place and we will be going back.

This place was the perfect Sunday brunch location. Super cute and lots of brunch options! They even had a great non-alcoholic drink menu. Right down the street you can bar hop in Wrigleyville or go to a Cubs game. Will definitely be going back to check out the dinner menu.

On a dreary Wednesday night, all one really wants is a vegan burger (aka Beyond Burger). This burger delivered in more ways than one. Upon my first bite, my taste buds were thrusted into a world of excitement. Our waitress had a cold, or allergies, but respectfully kept her distance. By gosh, the music! Tunes that would rock the heart of anyone without hearing aids. If anyone is reading this and trying to decide to go to Uncommon Ground, DO IT! Order the roasted cauliflower. That’s it ;).

Food was delicious, both for us and for our children. Portions were right-sized and ingredients were high quality. Service was a little slower than I would have liked, and the inside of the restaurant was a little chilly, but neither of these would preclude another visit.

Perfect spot for breakfast/brunch.
The tomato basil soup was fresh and delicious.
Grilled cheese was grilled to perfection. Coffee was fresh and robust. The beer was fantastic as well. Can’t go wrong with the stout! Surprisingly light and refreshing!

Disappointing experience. Could forgive many things like service, noise, ambiance (super crowded) but the food was actually not great especially for the price. The menu pretty uninspired. I'll stick with this place for music and drinks only.

We requested outside seating for our party of 7. For a milestone birthday. We were told they ‘don’t push tables together’. During our 2 hours INSIDE I watched 2 tables outside for 6-8 people empty the whole time. The staff here is NEVER accommodating and act like we’re doing them a favor by dining there. Not even at 50% capacity....they absolutely could have sat us outside.

The beverages were definitely the standout at brunch, but the food was certainly up to par. Beermosas may not be on every brunch menu yet, but they could definitely catch on based on the ones served in this Wrigleyville spot. The brunch options have something for everyone - from the vegan (vegan breakfast hash), to the indulger (ham & cheese French toast), to the hungover (biscuits & gravy) - each with a unique take on classics. Be sure to ask for a bowl of mocha coffee to go with your meal!

Always a nice time at Uncommon Ground! This particular visit, service was outstanding! Our server went above & beyond, she was so kind & sweet. Also, practically running the place on her own. Seating, serving & working the bar. Kudos! Thank you Uncommon Ground for a beautiful mid week lunch date with my aunt.

Waited longer for table with reservation than everyone without. Was told a big party sat before us so every part of service delayed extensively and delivered with “i’m sorry.” check somehow took as long as food to receive, dropped with a final “sorry.”
