About

This restaurant is permanently closed. Permanently Closed - Looking for a fresh catch on the West Side? Discover Uncle Nick’s! He was one of the first in the 80's to bring fresh, moderately priced Greek food to Manhattan in family sized portions and has been there ever since. We're not fancy, we don't dim the lights and our dishes are made to eat not admire. But when you’re in the mood for a friendly, festive meal with lots of laughter, good spirits and generous portions of hearty Greek cooking, Uncle Nick's is the place for you. We're especially proud of our selection of dock fresh seafood, but if meats are your love, you won't find finer, more succulent dishes than ours. When you're in the mood to relax, your table is waiting. To Uncle Nick everyone is family and everyone gets the same warm welcome. When you’re in New York but your heart is in Greece, come join us at Uncle Nick's. It's a trip you won't soon forget.

Great meal and drinks at a very reasonable price. Wonderful find near Madison Square Garden. Wait service is very attentive and if needed you can get in and out quickly. Casual, a bit noisy but you shouldn't be hungry when you leave!

Went for dinner on a Friday night. It was a very hot day and the restaurant was extremely hot. When we asked the waiter about it he said the air was on high. It was extremely uncomfortable. Service was so so as was the food.

Food and service were good, but adding a charge to the check for pita bread and side tzaziki is absurd and left a bad taste!!

If you love Greek food, you'll love Uncle Nick's. Not overly fancy or expensive for NYC standards. Service was quick to deliver our order. Also, you know when you see NYC's finest enjoying local eats at the next table, you've got to be in a decent establishment. Very close to MSG as well as UCB Comedy Theater. Would love to go back regardless of so many other choices available.

I love this place, especially for when I am with my family, including children. The food is good; nice open layout, and good prices. They happily wrap up food to take home if you have leftovers

I really don’t know what happened to that place, it was fantastic when it first opened, amazing food at first, it slowly declined and the food looks like plates you will get at any NYC diner…diner food looks and tastes better. The service is OK nothing to write home about and the for the quality of food the place is expensive…want to have a spanakopita or octopus then go, if you want to have great Greek food…don’t
