Great NYC experience fine dinning a but pricy but great food
Grey Happy Hour met great people. And staff
Perfect steak. Fries were terrible. Tasted liked they were from a fast food restuarant. Side portions bad. Sautéed broccoli was dry.
Excellent steak and sides
First time but definitely not the last. Great food, great Steak and Superb Service.
Great food a superb staff. Mad conducting our business a pleasure
Our table was ready when we got there on the first floor. I asked if we could be moved to upstairs, and was quickly accommodated. Food and service were excellent and we were NOT rushed. Noise level on second floor is perfect for us older folks.
We will be back.
I don't eat meat but I do love classic Steakhouse side dishes and Uncle Jack's does that very well. Their creamed spinach is truly creamed and they serve the biggest baked potato that I have ever seen in my life.
Great food and service
Great steakhouse. Lunch menu a little minimal but dinner menu is great. Highly recommend.
I love this place! I go EVERY time I'm in NYC. Great for business dinners, excellent service! Food is incredible. The bacon appetizer is heaven.
The food was top notch as usual. All the courses were presented well. The service was not overbearing but concerned. We were not rushed even though customers kept coming in. As a party of four we were in and out in under two hours.
Overpriced steak. Can get better cooked steak at this price at other places. Bread offering was incredibly weak.
I have been going to Uncle Jack's since Willie opened up his first restaurant on Bell Blvd in Queens. This time my wife and I shared the seafood tower and a Porter house for 2. They were both out of this world.
The meat which is served is absolutely delicious. The fresh ingredients which are used you will be able to taste, and the service is top notch. Uncle Jacks has a great bar scene and they have bartenders who know how to make the perfect drink.
Very pleasant Valentine's Day Dinner.
Thank you to the staff.
Uncle Jacks was ok in every way. Nothing bad. We chose it for the location and because it was rated by both Zagat and OpenTable. It has a nice bar, though we sat at a table since there were 6 of us. My steak was slightly over cooked but everyone else’s was correct. The wedge salad was good. The decor was a little faded. This is a moderate, old school steakhouse.
Best steaks we’ve ever eaten. Wherever you’re staying in NY, make the effort to get here. You won’t be disappointed!
Okay, keep in mind I am fussy and have been around the block. The best steakhouse ever. Waiters and waitresses are attentive but not in the way . Excellent food and atmosphere. A real gem.
food was excellent, steaks were cooked to perfection.
Great staff and food
For the price the steak was ok. Perfectly cooked, wasn’t super flavorful.
Great drink(s), great wedge, great filet, B'sprouts ... all top-notch. Best service anywhere.
Great service. Delicious food.
Would have given a higher rating but the strip steak delivered to the table was so small and mis shapped, if it was my order, I would have sent it back. My friend ate and said it was good, but it was not acceptable from my point of view. My 8 oz filet was perfect. When your paying the NY price, they should not cut corners on the steak.
My son and I were in New York City over the weekend and we had a chance to dine here. The food and service were exceptional!
I have been to the other 2 Uncle Jack's so we were looking forward to dining at this one on the West side. The staff ( they couldn't do enough) and the ambiance was wonderful. However, my husband and our friend ordered the porterhouse for 2 and found the strip sirloin part very grizzly and tough to chew. They have had it in the other two Uncle Jack's where they enjoyed the dish emensly. We told them to tell the waiter but they did not want to make waves. Everything else was delicious.
What one should expectfrom one of NYC’s signature steak houses. Great meat, service and old-time ambience.
Best filet ever, juicy, tasty, thick, tender. Scott, our server, was attentive and thoroughly professional. The manager (Firuzeh?) came over and talked to us. She was solicitous and respectful in wanting to know how things were going. Yes, we had a good time. We'll be back...
"The best steak I've ever had in my life."
Granted, that's the $125 Kobe, but everything at this place is amazing. Perfect for a great meal before an event at Madison Square Garden.
Usually reliable but must have been over staffed. Service very slow and inattentive water glasses empty on many occasions and steak for two that should have come out of the kitchen sizzling was warm enough to eat but just barely. Will think twice before going back.
The food was very good, however you pay top dollar.
Very unhappy with the filet mignonette.
I have eaten at jacks numerous times and always been happy with the experience. Last night for some reason the food was sub par. Baked potato was undercooked and worst the bone in filet was the fattiest I had ever had. Disappointing
Great food and location close to MSG.
Big disappointment regarding their supposed high standards about meat quality and being one of the best steakhouse in NY.
As always the atmosphere was a delightful
Up tone. The professionalism of everyone with a fun attitude & a smile with great service, included Mohammed, Luigi, Tahir & Nick!
It was fantastic, the food was good and the local was fine.
I can recomand the testaurant
Food was great and so was the service. I would definitely eat here again!
Excellent food and service-would come back anytime
