Restaurant is over priced gor the quality and service. I noted this was a business meal and we were still seated ny the kitchen. Steak at smith & wolensky night before 20$ cheaper and 3 times better.
We dine there a few times a year and still are so very pleasantly surprised. Every time we are treated with professionalism and courtesy. Of course, the food is worth every penny.

Food and service were equally as great. I went there in a date and the waiter was amazing. Very friendly and knew exactly how to make you feel at home. Highly recommend. Had a great experience.

We’ve been here many times, as a couple and with a group and it never disappoints. Waitstaff is great and good is excellent.
The wife ordered their signature burger rare. It was served well done, after pointing it out they remade her burger, it took 15 minutes to come out. I ordered the Ribeye. I expected a good piece of meet. What I was served was cooked as I ordered but was very disappointing. It certainly did not taste like an eighty dollar piece of meat. Was tough and not well seasoned. This meal turned out to be a big disappointment.
It was my anniversary and I was looking for a special place and i fornd it at uncle jack's great food the staff very attentive love it will return.
Our server (I believe his name was Tracey) was great, food outstanding. A bit pricey more inline with NYC pricing but all and all it was well worth it.

Good food, great friendly service, though quite Expensive
Went to restaurant to try something different away from Roslyn. I ordered well done chicken and wasn’t told until 1/2 hour later that they didn’t have chicken. My daughter ordered a medium steak that came out well done which we sent back and second steak, while medium, was not tender at all. After I was told that there was no chicken, I ordered stripe bass with only garlic and olive oil but was served stripe bass with lemon and white whine sauce which I specifically told the waiter I did not want. I also asked the waiter if the lobster avocado salad had a creamy dressing and he said no but the salad came with a creamy type dressing. The wait staff wasn’t rude but appeared ill equipped to handle the order, to serve food with requested preparation, or to accurately describe dishes. In addition, the quality of my daughter’s steak was poor. Uncle Jacks is also in the same price range as Bryant and Cooper and Peter Lugers but isn’t nearly as good.
Wanted a 4 pm reservation. I was told none were available, had to go at 3pm. The place was empty. The staff was just starting to set up tables and bar. They made us sit at the bar for 35 mins. Sent back the calamari either left over from day before or burnt. My husband ordered ice cream for dessert. It took 40 mins to bring it. There were only 6 people in the restaurant at this time. I felt embarrassed as I brought friends here for their anniversary. Sad day.
Shared wedge salad and crab. cake. Both were ezxxcellent. Special fish was dover sole. Well prepared by pricey at $65. Filet mignon, as always, was excellent. Tasty creamed spinach. Sergio was a very attentive server.
Both mine and my husbands steaks were phenomenal. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Side dishes delicious. One of the best creamed spinaches I have ever had.
Highly recommend, if you don't want to drive to the city.

3 out of the 4 guests wanted their steaks well done. They were medium rare. They ate them but when we initially ordered it the waiter was not recommending steaks to be cooked well done. As it turned out they really were not happy. Nice restaurant but if the customer wants well done that’s what they should get
Awesome steaks, service and ambiance. Only knock I have is that as I’m not a wine drinker, when I asked for house reds for my companion and I, I wasn’t expecting it to be $20 a glass. Other than that, my experience was terrific and I’ll definitely return.
This is a classic, upscale steak-house. Small and superb. The waiters all dress in tuxedos, and treat all guests like VIPs. The menu also includes some wonderful seafood selections, and everything is prepared perfectly! Uncle Jack's always makes us feel pampered!
I brought my husband here for Father's Day. I wanted to bring him somewhere we have never been before and I don't regret it. For our appetizer, we shared a Caesar salad. It was lightly dressed and tasted nice, but I like a bit more dressing on my salad, so it is really a matter of preference. For our entree, he had the NY Strip and I had fillet mignon. The steaks were well seasoned and flavorful. I had to send my first steak back because I ordered medium and it came rare, but they exchanged it with no problem and I received a new one quickly. Our sides were the garlic mashed potatoes and 5 cheese macaroni. Both of which were an excellent compliment to our steaks. We came with our 5 month old, so by the end of dinner, he became restless and we did not stay for dessert. The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. Everyone was lovely and we will definitely return. Oh...since we went on a Sunday early evening, parking was okay if you don't mind circling or parking a few blocks away. They do offer valet parking if you need it, but since we didn't use it, I don't know if there are any costs involved.

I don't play around when I want a steak dinner, no appetizers just straight to my meal. Uncle Jack's has to be in top top 2 or 3 ateaks that i've had, only to be beat out by a steak I had in Vegas. I like the old school feel, the staff is absolutely amazing and attentive to each guest. They make you feel like family. The side orders are great too, so you won't be disappointed. No need to drive into Manhasset or Great Neck on Northern Blvd, come the opposite direction into Queens and it will be more that worth the trip. Oh yeah, and the desserts are very good too... Lol FYI This was not a paid endorsement.
Overall the food was very good. But I noticed the portions of the side dishes were getting smaller.
I've been to many steakhouses and my husband and I enjoy a great porterhouse for 2. We went to Uncle Jack's because we received a gift card for my husband's birthday, so we went to the original in Bayside. While the food tasted very good, everything we ordered was luke warm and not hot at all. From our appetizer of mussels in white wine sauce, to the porterhouse and side dishes. We also felt a bit rushed. We were celebrating our anniversary, ordered a bottle of wine and wanted to have a nice dining experience. Immediately after we finished our appetizer the meal came out. We also wondered why we didn't get bread, especially since the white wine sauce from the mussels certainly called for it. After spending an additional $130 on top of the $150 gift card, I did not feel as if the meal was worth it at all. There are many steakhouses around that know how to make the dining experience worth the price, which we never mind paying if it is worth it. Therefore, I would not go back nor would I recommend.

Service was horrible. They stuck us in downstairs dining which is not even a dining room. Took 1 hour to be served a simple dinner on Mother's Day at 3.00 and when it came out the steak was cold. Manager came out to talk and all she did was apologize for the service and the cold food. Would never go back.
Atmosphere is a zero only thing that was a 5 was the hostess in the front, sweet, understanding and accommodating. uncle jack should make some changes.
The food and service at this location are great. I had the petite filet with the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The steak was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes and mushrooms were appropriately seasoned except the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts had a sweet chili sauce on them which masked the brussel sprout flavor. Other than that, the entire meal was great, including the service. My family had a t-bone steak and the tuna steak. Everyone was happy with the food and service.
On previous trips, I've had the baked clams (my favorite), kobe meatballs and the kobe steak. The baked clams are absolutely delicious! I have yet to find another restaurant to make them like this location, they have this tart lemon sauce on them with just the right amount of bread crumbs! The kobe meatballs are quite good too but their kobe steak is phenomenal. The waiter recommended eating it medium and he was right. The steak came out perfect. This location will not disappoint you.

Uncle Jack's is amazing! The Cracker Jack Chicken and Filet were to die for. Don't get me started on the creamed spinach and garlic mashed...incredible. This is a must go to in Bayside! I already can't wait for my next visit!
We met here for a casual business lunch. I thought the food and service were good but nothing extraordinary. One of the reasons I picked the restaurant was because they said they have valet parking. However that is not the case during lunch. It is a solid choice in the neighborhood if you are looking for standard steak house fare.

I've attempted to eat here before but was turned away because I didn't make a reservation. This left a really bad taste in my mouth and I swore to never visit again. I enjoy a great steak and didn't want to go to far out of my way so I tried again this past Sunday. I made reservations and came here for brunch. I must say, it was well worth it! Great food. Great service. The brunch menu was great. They had surprisingly amazing coffee. I was very pleased. My brunch experience here will probably have me back for more. The prix fixe option was definitely worth it for the price. Loved everything!
