Service was horrible. They stuck us in downstairs dining which is not even a dining room. Took 1 hour to be served a simple dinner on Mother's Day at 3.00 and when it came out the steak was cold. Manager came out to talk and all she did was apologize for the service and the cold food. Would never go back.
Atmosphere is a zero only thing that was a 5 was the hostess in the front, sweet, understanding and accommodating. uncle jack should make some changes.
The food and service at this location are great. I had the petite filet with the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The steak was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes and mushrooms were appropriately seasoned except the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts had a sweet chili sauce on them which masked the brussel sprout flavor. Other than that, the entire meal was great, including the service. My family had a t-bone steak and the tuna steak. Everyone was happy with the food and service.
On previous trips, I've had the baked clams (my favorite), kobe meatballs and the kobe steak. The baked clams are absolutely delicious! I have yet to find another restaurant to make them like this location, they have this tart lemon sauce on them with just the right amount of bread crumbs! The kobe meatballs are quite good too but their kobe steak is phenomenal. The waiter recommended eating it medium and he was right. The steak came out perfect. This location will not disappoint you.
Celebrated our 4 years anniversary here and it’s always the best. Great staff and great food. One of the best steak houses in NYC
Excellent! Best steakhouse in the area. Our server, Tracy, was helpful and accommodating without being even slightly intrusive. A 5-star experience in every way.
Uncle Jack's is amazing! The Cracker Jack Chicken and Filet were to die for. Don't get me started on the creamed spinach and garlic mashed...incredible. This is a must go to in Bayside! I already can't wait for my next visit!
We met here for a casual business lunch. I thought the food and service were good but nothing extraordinary. One of the reasons I picked the restaurant was because they said they have valet parking. However that is not the case during lunch. It is a solid choice in the neighborhood if you are looking for standard steak house fare.
I love this place. Food and service are always excellent! Looking forward to my next visit.
Everything is perfect!!
I've attempted to eat here before but was turned away because I didn't make a reservation. This left a really bad taste in my mouth and I swore to never visit again. I enjoy a great steak and didn't want to go to far out of my way so I tried again this past Sunday. I made reservations and came here for brunch. I must say, it was well worth it! Great food. Great service. The brunch menu was great. They had surprisingly amazing coffee. I was very pleased. My brunch experience here will probably have me back for more. The prix fixe option was definitely worth it for the price. Loved everything!
Simply awesome 😍
Every time we go we are simply amazed at how great everything is it is by far one of the most consistently great steak houses you can go to
Excellent dinner at Uncle Jack's! Thank you for the desserts! Everything was very tasty and great service. Thank you!
Good steakhouse. Quality of the sirloin was good, not exceptional. Wine list not particularly user friendly- pretty high mark-ups. The cost of dinner there- it's very expensive- detracts a bit from the experience.
Food and drinks were top shelf! Porterhouse for 2 was cooked to perfect medium rare, and all other entrees were cooked to each specification expertly. The banana creme pie dessert should not be missed, but the best part of our night was to see Roman running the front of house! This guy has been taking care of my family for over 12 years and I look forward to many more great meals and seeing Roman at Uncle Jacks.
We were treated like gentlemen wi thug fine service and quality dining
Service and food is excellent that’s why always come back
And the bartender is a true professional
Once again we had a great dining experience from the moment we walked through the door to the time we left
Best steaks in Queens, NYC. Sides are delish!
This is the best restaurant hands down. From the service to the food and the experience it’s an event not a meal.
The food was as delicious as I expected. I loved the special of filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The appetizers were fun and delicious and served professionally.
The wait staff was so professional and attentive! The staff treated everything we wanted with the utmost importance and response! They themselves are worth the ride. Definitely right decision for an anniversary dinner. Will definitely be going back!
Appetizers were good. I ordered porter house for 2 and thought it was overlly cooked at the top. Compared to others, this restaurant needs to get it together and cook better steaks
Menu said brunch party and the place looked like a public library.
Took gf for her 1st time. Uncle Jack did not disappoint!
Wonderful place to get together with good friends over great food and wine
Food and service were outstanding, steaks cooked exactly to our liking 😄
Our porterhouse came out over charred (burnt black on top) so the server had a filet mignon redone for us on the house to accomodate and was friendly & professional throughout.
I've been to uncle jacks plenty of times and was always satisfied. This time it was not as expected. The quality of the steak was not as good as it used to be. I was also served a stale baked potato. They don't give you bread like they usually serve at every single restaurant I've been to. I was very disappointed. Also for a steak house, i ordered a glass of cab which they served in tumblers and was told we can only get a cab glass if we had ordered a bottle of wine. The waitor accomodated but was still weird to me. I am sad because this restaurant used to be comparable to Peter Lugars but now I will not come back.
A decent steak house with good steak, sides, and appetizers. The bacon appetizer is a must try for first timers. Overall a good steakhouse to go to if you want to try something new and American.
The service was excellent they paid attention to detail and the waiters including the manager made sure hat everything was ok. Food was delicious!! Cooked to perfection.
Service was ok, but it was Valentine's Day and very busy, seating was the worst part very tight felt very uncomfortable sitting right next to the other table, we had to move tables every time someone needed to get up. A bit over priced .
My review is skewed since I went on Valentines day. Way , way overcrowded, 3 hour meal , service was tremendously slow and food was ok once it came out one item at time. I may try on a normal dinner service ... but would never recommend on Valentines day.
Food and service was amazing food cooked to our likings definitely would go back
Uncle Jack's in Bayside is one of my favorites. The food, the service, the ambiance, it's all great. We love Spiro, he's great!
It was great energy and the service was wonderful
Awesome! Food was really good and service was amazing.
Top notch quality steaks prepared by experts in the craft. The only thing greater than the service is the steak.
Went here for my mom's 89th birthday. Sergio, our waiter, was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and treated my mother as the birthday girl she was. Had the seafood platter and Caesar salad as appetizers -- both excellent and enough for 6 people (which we were). We each had various kinds of steak. My filet mignon was perfect -- charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Sides of garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach and brussel sprouts were all very tasty. Pecan pie was a good choice for dessert. Great food and very accommodating. It is pricey but everything was top level.
The bacon in maple sauce is an absolute must appetizer--delicious and good value. In contrast the Brazilian lobster tail was nothing special (a bit tough) and overpriced. The steaks are what you would expect from a Manhattan style steakhouse both in terms of quality and price. The house prosecco and cabernet were both solid. Dinner for two with 2 drinks each ran $280 before tip (those lobster tails) and so its not an every week restaurant. Parking is a real nightmare around the restaurant so plan accordingly. Second time I have been there and both times have been good experiences.
Good service, good food, Tables ready on time.
This was our first time dining at uncle jacks in bayside and boy were we impressed! Although a bit on the pricey side, our steaks were phenomenal we will most definitely be returning to uncle jacks
