The outdoor dinning was very comfortable and services has never disappointed me every time I have been there.

We celebrated NYE here the food was great. Service was great appreciated being able to dine in New York for the holiday

Everything was great from the food to service. It was a little cold because of the outdoor seating but otherwise great time and I definitely recommend it. Filet mignon was excellent!!

The best steak in NY isn't in Manhattan but in Bayside. 4 of us had the 16 oz. Kobe Beef (from Japan) and the 44 oz. Ribeye. From now on, the Kobe beef will always be on my plate when I'm at Uncle Jack's. We all agreed it was the best steak we've ever eaten (and we're in our 60's.) Great service - down to earth. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were exquisitely prepared. Chocolate Mousse and NY Cheesecake were outstanding with strong black coffee.

To spend that kind of money to get that type of quality food and service I was not impressed whatsoever I understand all the places I having difficulty with everything that’s going on but the food quality and service should not suffer won’t be returning there this is my last try

Wonderful food and great service

My took me here for my Birthday yesterday. The service here was absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was amazing had there Wagyu steak and the flavor was so great. We will be giving them our service again in the future.

Food was absolutely delicious

Porterhouse seemed to have been cooked on a dirty grill, the char was excessive, and dirty. The sides and staff were fantastic but the porterhouse was subpar and when you go to a steakhouse all that really matters is the steak..

Been here a few times and every time it is a delight. Food is amazing, staff is friendly and best of all, it’s local.

My Wife and I were quite happy with our meal as well as the desert. I definitely recommend this place. We actually both had the Sea Bass and it was great !

We did indoor dining. They had plexiglass between the tables. Food always on point!

We always have a great time at this restaurant. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious as always. Kerry & Dino were fantastic-friendly, personable & nice to talk to. It made our dining experience more enjoyable.

Great seeing the usual crowd. Food was prepared to perfection. Weather was great - Lovely to be back (outdoors) in the same familiar place.

Food came quick! Prices were moderate! We ordered the 24 day aged bone in Ribeye. It was tender nicely charred and a perfect medium rare. The au jus was a nice touch! Will go there again!

Uncle Jacks has always been a long time favorite of ours. They rarely skip a beat. It can be costly, but it will not disappoint.

Went for an early dinner... 5p reservations-
Started with the iceberg wedge, which is not our particular favorite ... they were out of 2 other salads we asked for...
Out of salad? ... that’s a new one.
But this is.... “Dinner in the age of Corona” so I’ll give Uncle Jack’s of Bayside a pass.
We ordered the bone-in Rib eye to share... which was absolutely perfect!!
Almost a Tomahawk style ... the bone was fairly large ... the steak was super tasty and tender.... fantastic cut of meat!
We also shared a lobster tail.... no 20oz ones as printed on the paper menu.... next size was a 28oz.... at $4 an ounce it’s $112...
It was broiled and thus came to the table with a bit of a char on the edges and kind of dry.... a bit of a disappointment.....
The creamed spinach was not as good as others I’ve had elsewhere.... or not as good as I’ve had at Uncle Jacks !

We had to sit outside on the sidewalk seeing as the five boroughs of New York don’t allow indoor dining yet .... it wasn’t horrible... but it was warm....

I’ve been to Uncle Jacks in Bayside dozens of times since they opened in 2003. This is a 4.5 star restaurant.... always top notch in my opinion.... however, for $112 .... the dry Lobster Tail gave this dinner 3 stars.... I will go back ... but for sure, I’ll stick with a steak and maybe the seafood tree next time....

Excellent service and food. The DJ from another restaurant was annoying. Perhaps when inside dining opens, it will be a more classy atmosphere. Fabulous dinner

This was a new location for me, great experience.

Always an amazing experience. Martinis are always perfect ice cold and extra dirty as requested. We can't say enough about the amazingly prepared steaks. Truly though the impecable service keeps us coming back to our neighborhood favorite.

Amazing staff .

It's hard to go wrong, the food is excellent, the bacon apps, Wagyu Kobe Meatball apps, all great. 2 Porter houses for 2- 1 med and 1 med rare- exactly as ordered. The staff and service was excellent, polite, there if needed, but not on top of you.

Amazing food

Totally surprised when one of the manager came by with a free desert and said “heard there’s a birthday.”
I only mentioned dinner is for a bday celebration with OpenTable (on the “What’s the occasion” part) but I didn’t indicate anything on the part with special instructions/message to the restaurant and they still noticed that part of the reservation.
Of course free desert was nice but it’s the fact that they picked up that detail and acknowledged it (of course the food was great too) is what put the dinner experience over the edge. 👍👍👍👍👍

We made the reservation on Open Table and the only times available were 5 or 9 pm. - we would have preferred a little later, but decided to go anyway with the earlier choice. We arrived at 5 and the restaurant was empty ( we left at 7 and the restaurant was still mostly empty) The service was excellent ( we were pretty much the only people there, so we would expect that). The food was fine , but not great considering the prices. The sides were definitely small for a steak house. We were especially taken by surprise when the check arrived and there was a fee added to the bill if we wanted to use a credit card. This really turned us against the restaurant. We definitely will not be back.

The only complaint I would have about our meal was the cost, but that’s what it costs these days for. A proper steakhouse meal out. All the food was great And they even had some “relatively” priced Chianti available. Ok, the sides could have been a little bigger Excellent service and a friendly waiter. A great night out.
