The food was amazing. We had the lamb lollipops, special surf and turf for 2, and creme brûlée. Everything was perfectly done. The atmosphere is quiet...a little too quiet. I like some background music or something to help the ambiance.
Service was impeccable . Oysters were so delicious were ordered another dozen. Martini’s were perfect. We all ordered tomahawk steaks , my husband & I shared a 44 ounce and our friends each ordered the 24 once individuals. Though tasty, they were a bit fatty and hard to cut. The chef actually sent out another one for our friend and sent us Deseret that was amazing. I am all about service. You couldn’t ask for better. Our waiter was amazing He was sweet, attentive and personably. The servers were on point. I saw the same happening at the tables around us these people aim to please. It is a bit pricy , it”s a steakhouse they normally are, what it isn’t is noisy. You can hear yourself think and enjoy your conversations. W will most definitely be back.
Food was all delicious (grilled octopus to start, filet mignon and porterhouse for two, corn and bacon brulee, creamed spinach, tiramisu and peanut pie). Wine was also great, as well as service. Will definitely come back!
The entire staff was very attentive. personable and thoughtful. Food was cooked to perfection. No salt/pepper needed.

I held a business dinner here. The service was great, and very attentive. The steak for 2 was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is lively but not at all noisy. The atmosphere is classic steakhouse. Most definitely worth a visit. I will be back!
Date night for my husband and I. We came from Port Jefferson Station. We’ve been here before, we knew exactly what we were going for. A romantic night out. It was just that. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and over all it was a perfect evening out. I love Uncle Jacks and I’ll always choose here for an amazing dinner night out!

The menu is not cheap. But their food is worth it. A great steakhouse to check out for special occasions.
Food was great atmosphere was great
This place felt like stepping into a time machine. The ambiance was old school rat pack elegance. And the manager Bill couldn’t have been a better host to the experience. Our server was also quite adept. He knew when to come and when to let us stay immersed in conversation. The bone-in filet mignon was beyond description. Will most definitely be going back.
From walking in and Brian the manager greeting us started what would turn out to be the most amazing experience in a steak house and I have been to quite a few the service our waiter spiro and the entire staff to the amazing food seafood tower bacon yaba Daba tomahawk the sides the cocktails to the finale dessert I rate uncle Jack’s a perfect 10 or should I say 1000 tk u you Brian and spiro and we will most definitely be back
We came in to enjoy a family meal for Fathers Day and I can say that we had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We had a party of five and the price for the value of the food was better than I thought. We have eaten at other jig end steakhouses and have to say the Uncle Jacks in Bayside is my number one choice.
Excellent service as always. Waiters are always right there when you need them. Porterhouse for 2 is incredible. Can’t wait to go back.
THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL. Trust me on this. Ordered appetisers which arrived 4 minutes after being seated. The entree arrived 5 minutes after the appetisers. Waiter was very attentive and was kind and courteous. Had to give him a $100 tip.. IT WAS THAT GOOD FOLKS. Oh try the "Fred Flintone" tomahawk.. Dry aged to perfection. It was the juiciest steak i've ever had in my life. Wife ordered the lobster tail. OH MY GOD.. Was this thing shipped from Chernobyl? I never knew lobster grew to that size.
This is now my default steak house. Damm and I was just going on a diet.. Oh well
Always love uncle jacks
We have been going to Uncle Jack's for years and have always enjoyed our meals. Last night we had three different cuts of steak between us, all were outstanding. The bartender, (Danny), made terrific cocktails. Service was impeccable and our water glasses were kept filled with nice cold water. The desserts were to die for! So delicious were all three of the desserts we had. Bill, the Maitre D', was wonderfully personable, and helped make our dining experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Uncle Jack's in Bayside and it will continue to be one of our favorite restaurants, and certainly our favorite in all of Queens and Long Island. Go enjoy!
Steak was not worth the money. Sides were cold. Drinks were decent. Service was very good. The service is the only thing worth the money
Business dinner, our waiter Spiro never allowed a wine glass to be empty, or water to get warm. Appetizers were great, Uncle Jack's bacon does not disappoint.
Steaks were good, onions & Garlic mash, cream spinach very good....

I have been to Uncle Jacks several times an I have never, ever been disappointed. The food was magnificent and the service was exceptional. Spiros, our waiter, as well as the ancillary staff, were professional, accommodating and appropriately attentive.
The food was okay. The largest tomahawk steak was small and very fatty!

Food (steak) was served cold.
The drinks were a lie. I had ask for gray goose martini and I was given kettle one served on an ice cream glass.
When I question the taste that is when The waiter said that they run out of gray goose especially on Friday night at 7:45 PM

I won't go back. I never give bad reviews, but this is certainly not a fine steak place, not even close.
The Good: nice ambiance, excellent fries and creamed spinach, nice desserts.
The bad: dirty steak knife (Yuk) to start with, They didn't have T-Bone the night I was there, so I had New York Strip (the full size). Cooked to perfection but I can't believe it was a strip steak. If it really was, it was such poor quality. I ate it, but really didn't want to. It was cooked properly, so I kept eating. The waiter never came over to ask how the food was, which is expected in a "nice" restaurant. 1/3 cheaper than nearby steak places, but this is a poor imitation.

The overall experience was very good! Our waiter was very attentive and courteous. I forgot his name :( My filet mignon was so tasty! The oysters were also delicious. My date really like the garlic potatoes.

We sat at the bar for a couple of drinks as the 7 members of our party drifted in and were immediately made to feel at home by manager Bill Brennan. We really had a great time together thanks to the wonderful staff, the excellent food and our being in a semi-private room downstairs. We were a party of 7 people telling funny stories and having a great time without having to worry about disturbing other diners because we were seated in their downstairs dining room which was perfect. Our waiter was super attentive to all of us and quickly took our orders and made some great recommendations in the process. We ordered the thick cut bacon, baked claims, octopus (recommended by waiter was outstanding so we ordered a 2nd plate), and lobster avocado salads for appetizers. My girlfriend and I ordered the porterhouse for two which was cooked to perfection and so very tasty, as were the sides. I don’t know how we did it, but after feasting on our steaks we ordered various desserts and coffee for the table. All were fabulous! Great job Uncle Jack’s!
This was the first time dining there and the experience and food was nothing short of excellent. We will most definitely be returning. The staff made us feel like we part of the family and the food was absolutely delicious! This is our new favorite steakhouse!
