Everything was good, but the portions were very small for the prices.
We really enjoyed our meal here. The atmosphere was incredible. Great food. Would definitely go here again!
The bartender was friendly and took great care of me. The sushi was flavorful and very fresh. I had a mango saki cocktail that was perfectly sweet- not overkill - and was light and refreshing. Highly recommend this place!
A wonderful late evening meal! Terrific sushi variety for any palate. A must when in Seattle!
We enjoyed our meal here and this place has a great selection of rolls. The waiter gave great recommendations based on our preferences and I appreciate that the rolls are cut into smaller pieces to eat in one bite. Would continue to come back to this spot. Definitely make a reservation instead of walk in.
The only good thing about this place is their food. The service was bad. We made reservations at 10pm, and then were told that we were able to move it up to 9:45pm instead, we arrived at 9:35pm and didn’t get seated until 10:05pm. The server rang in multiple of our items wrong and we didn’t receive certain dishes or one too many. We brought a birthday cake, and when we asked for it to be brought out, it took 15mins… after our leftovers had already been in boxes.
Birthday dinner and looking for a fun place
Beautiful sushi cuisine experience in a hip part of town 🤍
Great food, fast service! Over all great time! Thanks
Good sushi. I'd recommend having a bite to eat here.
AMAZING food, excellent service, and the happy hour prices were amazing. Can't wait to come back!
The experience is what you will get at Umi. Every roll is crafted with care delicately. The sauces are unique and quality of the fish is top-tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or someone looking for a great date night!
Food was wonderful and service too!
Wonderful experience, happy hour is a tremendous deal. Would definitely go again!
Good food, nice for groups. The ambiance is really nice for dates as well.
Nice casual place for sushi. The food was decent depending on the selections, and the service was very good.
When making the reservation on Open Table, we were asked about the occasion. We were there for our wedding anniversary, but the hostess did not even acknowledge it. The staff had no idea either. This would not be a place I would go to again for a special occasion.
All the food arrives at once even if you get the omikase so it read more like a cafeteria experience. Good food though
Was overall impressed! Thank you to the hostess for getting us in esrly
Excellent sushi, excellent cocktails. We were seated in the back area with the plants and skylights and it was a great experience for a 1:1 birthday dinner.
The food was quality, pretty expensive. Half of the restaurant was beautiful, we were sat in a dark corner. We had to wait a while for our table. They seated 3 couples before us. That was irritating.
amazing food and great ambiance. Music was loud but it added to the cool vibe.
Umi Sake House is always fantastic. Our favorite sushi in Seattle!
It’s my place fir sushi 🍣 everything is awesome here .. I go all the time 🙃
Sat at the sushi bar, service was fantastic and sushi was even better than that!
Great to be back in person… always great service and great food!
We continue to appreciate Umi Slae House as a family-favorite for a date night or special occasion. The covid-19 measures are respectful and clear, we appreciate all of it.
Great food, drinks and service. All COVID protocols were followed and made for a safe and fun dining experience. Highly recommend.
Appetizers great, Sake Cocktails excellent, we try four of them....Happy Hour Sushi Rolls not good at all, supermarket quality......but regular menu were excellent.
Excellent happy hour menu. All dishes were of great quality.
The service was amazing. They had to move my friend and I into another table because they had a bigger party coming and because of the trouble caused, they gave us one of the rolls from the fresh list in house and dessert in house. The roll was delicious. It was a little bit too loud for us but that’s because we are way used to the quiet spaces. Great place to hang out with a group of friends to drink! Will come back!
Horrible service, missing food items, e trendy expensive. Used to be a good place a few years ago - not anymore.
I was really looking forward to going here but they sat us at the sushi bar. After seated, we asked to be moved to a table but they said they were only seating parties of two at the bar. The food was good but we didn’t get the full ambiance, which ruined the experience.
We had such a wonderful experience! The sushi is absolutely amazing, the Olympia roll was beyond expectations and the ambiance was incredible. We were there quite late (10:30) and the service and engagement was still completely phenomenal! Thank you, we will be back!
Maybe the best sushi place in town. I would recommend the happy hour which has some great prices.
Meh. Way overpriced. Many many many many sushi places with better sushi at more reasonable prices. $11/chutoro nigiri (1 piece). That’s absurd. Kashiba, Nishino, and Tamura all have way better sushi and still aren’t as expensive.
Server was stretched thin and we found ourselves waiting for extended periods of time to order more drinks and food.
Won’t be back. Don’t recommend.
Great late night happy hour! Got to try a lot of different things.
ran out of a lot of inventory on mothers day. It was kind of bothersome that i was trying to buy a nice dinner but they ran out of literally 1/2 of what i ordered which is understandable but it was a holiday and they should have managed their inventory better.
Started with Crispy Prawns, wrapped in egg noodles w/sweet chili sauce. Wow! The noodles cooked to crispy perfection wrapped around the prawn added the perfect crunch to the deicate prawn contained within. A great appetizer. The crispy calamari, delightfuly tender within a crispy fried batter, was a great addition to the appetizers. Grilled garlic short ribs, filled out the starters, hmmm. Juicy and tender to satisfy any meat lovers cravings. The "Tropical Island Roll" completed the meal. With the amazing Blue Berry Glaze mixed with dabs of wasabe, provided the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
It was pretty good. Nothing was bad, nothing was outstanding. I would definitely go again.
