About
The burgers and sweet potato fries were outstanding
We had a group of 16. The staff did great taking care off all our needs. Excellent upscale bar food.
We love the truffle burger and the truffle fries.
Best burgers since a long long time!!
The manager was very hospitable and gracious. We definitely will come back often!
My burger was overdone bc they mixed up my order with someone else at table.
Basic food noisy as a sports bar
Just the best service and burger in the last 5 yrs....I say go there and try it for yourself!
Terrific food, first-class service and a convenient Vegas location in the SLS Hotel where I stayed.
My second visit and I'll definitely return!
Nice! Good service and tasty. Iced green tea was refreshing.
Umami originated in LA and opened stores in NY, where I first tried the truffle burger. There in NY, I did not need reservations. It has become one of my favorite spots in NYC so when I learned about the location in Vegas, I decided to try the original umami burger. My issue was not with the food but the fact that less than half the menu was dedicated to food. More than a page and a half was all about the alcohol in of all places, a casino, where you can get all the alcohol you want. They did not even have the limited casa burger, which was Cindy Crawford's burger. I understand that menus change all the time with the season, but it surprised me that neither a Korean barbecue burger nor the falafel burger was not on the menu. As a previous critic wrote, you have more options at a Red Robin in Vegas. If you want the true umami experience, go to the one in California or NY.
By far this was the absolute best burger I have had in my entire life!! I don't typically order hamburgers anyways, but now I can never eat a plain one ever again and not be disappointed. The only burger I will ever eat again!! ❤ and I don't ever order fries..but the truffle fries are amazing!! Truly my most fav spot ever!!
Food really wasn't that great. The best part was literally the French fries that came as a side. They're known for their burgers but their burgers were as small or even smaller than a burger at McDonald's for a $1 . Also, the nachos were the worst nachos I've ever had. Too salty, too cheesy. Not a good cheesy either.
I have heard great things about Umami's burgers. I was not impressed whatsoever. It was a good burger, well made and tasty. But for a place known for burgers, it was a disappointment. a chain like RR has more burger options available. The menu has more beer choices than it does for your meal! The atmosphere was horrid given that it was also a sports book, which severely detracted from the experience. It was not a bad burger, just disappointing. I'd rather have found a brew pub off the strip.
We wanted to watch a particular college basketball game and they were very accommodating. We also got to legally bet on the game! the burgers were delicious, beer choices very nice and reasonably priced.
Best gourmet burgers, tasty and plenty of selections! Amazing truffle fries.
We tried umami burger on locals 50% off. The burger was good though lacked the juicy messiness I expect with a 12 or 13 dollar burger. On the small side, neat, with a melted Parmesan crisp , sun dried tomato and mushroom. Purple U on top bun. I ate a concept I guess. Two of us had that and the other a tuna burger. Two orders of fries, thin cut, frozen, acceptable. Normal price was 4.50 I think. Drinks: great beer selection, draft stout was excellent and partners had a 13 dollar cocktail they liked. Place is way too pricey with normal prices but worth a visit at the reduced locals offering. Server was great and attentive and was tipped 20% on original price.
Great craft beer can't make up for subpar food and mediocre service. We went for Happy Hour and told the waitress specifically we were there. She then doesn't tell us or they have any signs saying that the price goes up during games. Thankfully was fixed bit we will never go back there again
Great burgers. Great wings.
The Manager does a great job! This was our second time there and a bit disappointed that the menu was changed and reduced! We were saddened that the pickle platter was no longer offered.
We went for dinner on Election Day. Service was great. The waitress was able to put election coverage on for us.
Been a few times to watch football never disappoints.
Watched the season opener here while at Vegas. Had a great time. Great food and atmosphere.
We went to watch the NFL football games. We were told when making reservations that it would be a $25/person minimum, but then when arriving it turned into a $50/person. In order to stay for the 2nd games it would be another $50/person so in total we paid $100/person for a hamburger and beers. It was a bit of a stretch but we were able to get to the total amount. I understand that our server had to take care of us all day, but he seemed to keep disappearing whenever we needed something. All in all they had what we needed. Football, sportsbook and beer.
Went for opening night of the 2016 NFL season. They were the only bar in town that offered up a special deal. And what a deal: no cover, one free drink and free sliders and fries. They got a bit busy and the service was slow because the free food was being eaten at a much greater rate than it was able to be prepared. That said, it was tasty, and a heck of a deal!
The beer menu is quite good with a focus on craft beer, and it is a great place to catch a game and not be forced to drink run-of-the-mill beer.
Hostess need refresher course on use of reserved seating system. Gave name and confirm #. Obviously meant nothing for an hour later while drinking and eating on patio I received an email chastizing me for being a no call- no show. DUH!
Sliders were delicious, SUPPOSED loaded. Nachos were not, not loaded either. Most everyone on patio was wonderful.
We went to Umami for a meal before going out on the town in Vegas. The service was super slow. When we were seated it took the waitress a while to come see us--so long, in fact, we all had our orders ready for her when she did come by. We ordered a round of waters for the table and a pitcher of beer. We didn't get our waters until after the food came and we got our pitcher just before the food. We never saw our waitress again until she came by with the check. We had to commandeer a bottle of ketchup from one of the unbussed tables near by, and not once did we get our waters refilled. I'd been to Umami before and the food and service were great! I hope my most recent experience isn't the norm for Umami.
First time at this restaurant. It was fine. The food was maybe a bit overhyped. Portions were smaller than anticipated, but food quality was good. It's good for a quick lunch, but would look elsewhere for anything more.
Amazing in every way and truly worth a visit!
Great burgers and totally worth the walk down the strip!
The food was AMAZING! We were seated right away.
Great casual restaurant in Las Vegas. Food was terrific and the price is a good value.
There is nothing special here, it's a high priced place that serves average burgers, skinny fries, and high priced beer. Stamping a U into the top bun simply doesn't earn you a best burger in town verbiage.
Good bar food. Waitress forgot parts of our order at times but very nice and apologetic. Good atmosphere for sporting events.
Watching the game here was awesome!!
Great food and staff
Had a split a couple burgers and a beer flight with my wife. Best burgers we've had in a while.
The Manly burger was so delicious. The bacon lardons really was a nice flavor. Our waitress was very helpful in her recommendations and we enjoyed the truffle fries based on her feedback . We will definitely go again.
Yelp reviews were right-on. In addition, I am a fan of burgers and have tried all the burgers in Vegas so I was excited as was my wife, she being absolutely crazy about the American burger. I was puzzled due to the numerous burgers on the menu, sides and salads, but decided on the Manly Burger, Arugula Salad, Sweet Potato & Truffle Fries. Mrs didn't enjoy the burger since she "hates" bacon, but I loved it. Salad was O.K. but without any dressing and the serving was extremely huge. Mrs loved both fries, and I was amazed with the truffle fries. I would definitely return for another adventurous culinary experience, especially with the voucher's discount.
Great food served by attentive staff. Great selection of Beers and Food, worth a stop by and try...
We rolled in around 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. The place was moderately full of people watching the game on cushy couches in front of large televisions. Ha!
The Caesar salad was nothing shy of DELICIOUS! Can't say anything about the burgers though as I stuck strictly to the greens...
The French Fries were amazing! Thin and crispy just how I like them!! (They serve their own special ketchup, but they do have regular if you ask!)
Umami burger was delicious. Sweet potato fries were tasty but not quite hot enough. Service good even though restaurant was very busy.
