They called the location "oceanfront", but although it is along the ocean, it is recessed so no view of ocean while dining. They seated us under a tree and the flies and gnats were terrible.
First meal in Hawaii. I had fish and chips and my husband had fish tacos. Very good food right by the ocean. Its outdoor dining so you will enjoy people watching. Our wait staff were so nice…they went above and beyond. We both enjoyed a Mai Tai with dinner. We will definitely go back during our 7 nights in Maui.
Actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here and our server was excellent. Only problem we had was that our table was on the edge of the restaurant and it was so dark we had to use our phones for light.
Kato our waitress was attentive and friendly!!!!
Sat at the bar, drinks and food were delicious
Dinner entrees were OK, convenience to hotel and quick seating were good
Everything seemed OK… Except our waitress who seem to have quite a bit of difficulty with every table in her section… We ordered appetizers first the appetizers came out with the entrée… She was very sweet and very kind I’m not sure if there was just problems in the kitchen or if it was just the waitresses Her self
Fantastic meal !
It was a nice poolside dinner
Only thing open when arrived late last night. Only go for convenience! Wings were sub par and the tiniest ever. So dry we couldn’t eat even with all the teriyaki sauce! My ahi nachos were decent and hubby enjoyed his burger. The fish tacos weren’t that great.
The food was bland for the price. No personal twist or touch, and the ketchup packets vs a ketchup bottle seemed wasteful. The drinks were $19; and served in a plastic cup. I would expect more when paying that price for a drink. It started raining and no staff members came to check on us, or anyone seated around us. Just seems to lack a personal connection touch.
Anniversary Dinner , we liked Beer on Tap and Fresh Seafood Salad
Barely Ok. Happens to be next to pool so location was convenient
Great device - quick and easy
Awful service, food, and environment. Wish I hadn't wasted the money.
Very good food, great view of the ocean. Reasonable prices and drink special every day. Bar had football game on and it was super loud until the game ended
We had a very nice time. Food was great and everyone was very friendly.
OK, but not worth the price. You'll find a better value on the beach elsewhere.
Poor and minimal dinner menu. Chicken was tough. Need to improve food and add to menu
This place was nothing special at all! I ordered the fish and chips and the fish was overcooked and the french fries tasted like they had just been re-warmed and not fresh. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and you probably could’ve gotten a better one at Jack-in-the-Box. I would not go here and iit was very expensive for what you got. There are many many other fine dining places here on Maui!
Not what we expected. It’s basically a poolside restaurant. Uncomfortable tables and chairs, umbrellas everywhere, yet they don’t cover the tables. The food was bar food at best and way overpriced. Skip this place and go to a nice sit down restaurant at the Hyatt. :)
The food was amazing and our waitress and back server was even better! They both new the menu inside and out, they even made suggestions and answered all our questions! 10/10 would eat here again and will while still on Maui!!
View was good, server was attentive. Food was good.
Based on other reviews I was a bit worried to go here but the service was great and food was excellent. We had the impossible burger as a lettuce wrap, fish and chips, and the pork Maui street tacos. Would come again!
Went for a quick lunch. Server was very friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high but portions and taste was very good.
Not to bad, but overpriced for what you get
Quiet setting along the water.
Good poolside food
Waitress was awesome but the hostess told us we couldn’t sit up by the ocean side because all tables left were in the sun. My hubby said he’d put up the umbrella & she said no. We had reservations & were extremely disappointed when 5 minutes later she seated 2 couples that were walk ups in the front by the ocean & put up the umbrellas for them. We know because we were at the table closest to the hostess desk & could hear everything. So much for having reservations……need to replace her - Big older blonde woman with a bad attitude.
It took a while for someone to get to us, which was likely because of how busy it was, but once served, our meal came fairly quickly and the staff was great!
Great atmosphere, enjoyed dinner with a beautiful sunset
Good for a quick bite and drink - nothing too spectacular to say. Server was nice and delivered our orders quickly.
A very disappointing Caesar salad, lousy commercial dressing, not nearly enough garlic, chopped up Romain including the root. Remarkably bad.
It’s a pool restaurant bardo the menu is limited. The food was ok but for the price I’d expect glassware and not plastic cups.
Food was terrible. Drinks were served in plastic cups. Drinks came after they brought us the food.
Parking is hard to find!! There’s paid lots but nobody seemed to be able to tell us if it could be validated. Getting to the restaurant was a pain but the restaurant itself was decent. Loud, due to it being poolside.
Excellent food and the Lava Flows were wonderful although a bit pricey. The service was wonderful.
We went to our reservation 15 minutes early and no one was there. We waited for a half an hour and the restaurant looked closed. We tried to find someone but no employees were to be found to help us. We even called and the phone just kept ringing. I tried to cancel our reservation but it stated that we already "arrived" even though they marked us as a no show. Disappointing experience to say the least.
It was a great late night option if you were looking for something quick but both my fiancé and I did not really enjoy the food.
