Very disorganized. Had reservation and did not get seated for another hour. People walking up after us with no reservation we’re getting seated first. I kept having to go back and ask about our table. Then finally they seated us at a bar table that we could have just gotten on our own to begin with. Waitstaff was great and food was awesome. Kitchen was super slow. Reservation always for 7:30 and it was 9:30 before we got anything to eat. Certainly worth the wait but won’t go back.
Atmosphere was about the only thing that saved this place. We ordered a hummus plate as a starter which was good, but the rest of our food was overpriced, cold and bland. We got 2 steak dishes and both had the same steak that was cooked like shoe leather with zero seasoning. Vegetables in the salad were overripe. Drinks were over priced ($19 for a cocktail and $11 for a beer). I would not recommend this place at all.
Stefan is the best waiter. He went above and beyond to deliver on our dietary restrictions. The chia pudding is to die for. Thanks so much!
Service was friendly but food was typical poolside food…cold and precooked. Skip and go somewhere else.
Food looked good on the menu. Mahi mahi tacos were dry, koren fried chicken was load with sauce and pot stickers were average and the sauce was an odd ranch / tarter vs. typical soy / plum sauce. Coconut choc cake and pinacolada were good. Our waitress was really great.
We panicked when we found out we needed reservations everywhere on Maui so we booked this for a meal as soon as we arrived, knowing we’d be hungry. Didn’t realize it’s a pool bar at a hotel! No one was there, didn’t need reservations! Food was pretty good, not great. Service was good, friendly.
Service & server were great! Food was a
Nice place great service. The menu was limited I think because of the virus. But ambiance was fantastic. Expensive, but that’s Maui. I would eat here again.
Our waitress was awesome. But the food was not good at all
Probably will never eat there again
Seated immediately with welcoming service
Lovely beach setting with tiki torches. Large servings. Great server.
The food was equivalent to Applebee’s but 5 times the price. Not impressed.
Excellent food and service!!
Got charged 14$ to park. Never going back to restaurant or hotel
For a poolside eatery to charge the prices they do is outrageous! MaiTai just shy if $20 is just ridiculous. For a party of 4 our bill was $189.00. We had tacos, fish & chips, a bacon cheeseburger and hanger steak on flatbread. While the food was delicious and service great we will not return!!
This is a pool side restaurant located at the Hyatt, so it’s very casual, which was great for a low-key dinner with the kids. The location was also nice, as it was next to the beach, but no view from where we were seated. Our server was great and really attentive. The food was pretty good, too. Their burger and wings were delicious and the kids were very happy with their mac n cheese and chicken strips. The street tacos were just okay. I ordered the mahi mahi and pork street tacos and the mahi mahi was pretty flavorless and dry, but the pork taco was not decent. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
Very friendly waitstaff
It was great except that it was very windy !
First dinner after arriving to Maui. Pretty typical pool restaurant quality food. Service was good. Nothing to complain about really.
Setting was pretty but the ocean view is obscured be a big hedge. Food was tasty but not fabulous.
Food was overpriced and not good, $19 fish and chips was a cup of fries and 2 pieces of frozen fish. Mixed drinks are $18-19 each nachos had hardly no cheese had to ask for more and then was charged for it on top of $18 for nachos. Skip this restaurant and hit a local food truck.
Nice ambience, solid food and drinks
For being a pool side restaurant we found it to be perfect for us (family of four with kids being 6 and 11).
Service was great and food was fantastic both times we ate there. Solid spot that still had openings while we were visiting. Servers were amazing.
The setting is fantastic - but the menu was limited, the food was good not great.
Nothing extraordinary. Main benefit is the fact that you get a place to sit and eat in an otherwise busy resort.
Pool bar/restaurant. Food is expensive for what you get.
I was looking for a nice restaurant for Father’s Day. this is not a “nice“ restaurant. This is the poolside eatery at the Hyatt. So… It’s not the greatest. Very small menu, very loud, even at 8:30 at night. A lot of the noise of people playing in the pool and a band playing at another venue. The waiter was rushed and seemed stressed. He did a pretty good job, but he wasn’t by our table very often. The food was OK. The drinks were not (we ordered lava flows) Drinks were served in plastic cups.
Open Table made this appear to be more restaurant than fast bite place. Food tasted like it was heated right out of the freezer.
Loud place full of families with small children.
Patio tables are used here and we spilled our drinks twice as the table was so wobbly.
Not sure why we needed a reservation. This is one step up from a fast food joint.
Great casual outdoor dining in beautiful setting. Excellent staff/ service. Really enjoyed ahi and other items.
Great food and service!
I didn’t mind it was a pool side grill. The drinks were good, but the meal was the worst we’ve had in Maui. My chicken was chewy and my husband’s fish & chips was more breading than fish.
Quick, delicious and great service. This is our go to when we just want to stay close to the hotel.
Ahi was to spicy. Teraki wings were super fried and tasted nothing like teraki. Expensive for what food was. Ceaser salad was good.
Great food and drinks. Between beach and hotel. Great place. Service was great too. Great for people watching too. As far as chain restaurants on the water in Maui, adequately priced. Would definitely go back
The restaurant was understaffed. Not their fault I understand. Nice ambiance but overpriced. Food was fair.
Great food, great service! Loved the ahi salad and the fish and chips.
We wanted to go out to lunch and this place popped up. We gave it a try. The place was in the pool area of the resort and was really nice. Our waiter was great and the size of our orders was large. The food was great. A really nice surprise.
Great food. Everything was delicious and they give generous portions.
We are on vacation and wanted to have a nice dinner in a nice place. I liked the chicken stir fry, but my husband was disappointed in the fish and chips meal. Fish was very greasy. He pulled the breading off. Big pretzel appetizer was good and is huge; enough for 4 or 5 people
This was our dinner after traveling! Great to have this option available at the hotel.
