Beautiful location, excellent service from Chad and great food. Really loved the soup which is a coconut chicken soup. Steak and fish cooked perfectly. The chocolate soufflé made a perfect ending. This is our favorite restaurant which we visit every time we are on island.

Such a wonderful meal! It started with a waterfront table on the edge closest to the sand. Then we had the best server, Floyd, who was so easy to talk to and offered so much help with food and wine selections. The general manager then came by and asked us about our dining experience, and she was very nice and genuine, who spent plenty of time with us conversing and understanding how wonderful we felt about dinner. The food was amazing! So tasty, my mahi mahi dish with the brown butter sauce was fabulous. At the end of service, Floyd was able to give us a sample of a dessert wine, that was so tasty and come to find out expensive but was on the house. We also had the souffle, which was nice and moist in the center with nice edges, which is totally hard to do when making a souffle, one of the best I have ever had.

Very lovely atmosphere and vibe, beautiful place to spend an evening enjoying dinner while watching the gorgeous Hawaiian sunset. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion and enjoy upscale dining.

We sat outside by the beach. The ambiance was what you expect eating ocean side. The service was great! They were attentive and their suggestions were right on. The sushi was amazing! If you’ve never tried sushi and want to, this is the place to try it.

Everything was absolutely delicious. We sat at a beautiful table right by the ocean. The restaurant was crowded but our table felt very intimate and cozy. It was the perfect place for our special night. The service was excellent. I recommend the desert soufflé. They had chocolate and coconut raspberry. We got both to share and they were both amazing.

Best fish dinner in our 48 years of marrige.

The Four Seasons Resort is most excellent. ULU is a wonderful restaurant with a 5 star atmosphere and view with excellent food. It was our anniversary and we really enjoyed it.

This is my favorite restaurant on the Big Island. The food and service is fantastic, and the view is amazing!

Terrible timing on service. Drinks, bread, Appetizers came out and then there was an hour wait for dinner. Kind of strange

The views are ocean and spectacular! The food was paired perfectly and the flavors were a treat for the taste buds!

The ambience is unequaled anywhere. The fish, on this visit, was cooked perfectly except too much crunchy salt on the lobster. The lobster, in general, was excellent except for the salt (maybe a matter of taste) and had wonderful sauce. We haven't found a restaurant to equal 'Ulu anywhere on this island. This is our third visit and we will be back.

Everything was amazing- food, service, ambience. So fresh and so much attention to details. Nick is a wiz with sushi. Paul, the manager is fantastic and went above and beyond, charolette as well. Floyd is a fantastic waiter too! We will be back!

The ambiance was breathtaking. Seeing and hearing the waves hitting the shore while we ate was incredible. Food was superb and service was excellent. It was a perfect meal.

Amazing atmosphere and the food, unfortunately, was just okay. Very surprised at how the sushi was just not top notch. Ahi was not as good as Costco had and Eel was very tough and bland. I would suggest going to the beach grill a 100 feet down the beach instead. Not as romantic for atmosphere, but you could easily be disappointed by Ulu.

Excellent venue, especially for special occasions. Sea food (especially Uni) was outstanding.

Sweet potato bread and hummus combination was amazing. I had the pad tai and it was to die for.

Overall it was a nice experience and the experience was elevated by our server whose name is Regina. We were not so happy with the appetizers, octopus was extremely dry and eel sushi was mediocre and not the best. Mongolian Beef was average but Hapu'upu'u fish and misoyaki kanpachi were phenomenal. Once again Regina made this that might have turned into a very average experience utmost pleasant.

MUST EXPERIENCE! Great atmosphere, we did double appetizers, and double desserts with our dinner to maximize our tasting experience. Hands down one of the best restaurants we've visited on our travels. If driving there after dark, just be mindful that the road leading to the Four Seasons is not well lit, and using Google maps via the Open Table app took us a tad off track. Just follow signs directly to the resort, the vallet can easily direct you. Practically every table has a great, oceanfront view.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. The ambiance, food, and service were all superb and I highly recommend this restaurant to any one in the Kona area. Special shoutout to Chad; he was one of the most personable, knowledgable and efficient servers that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our night would not have been so special without him.

We enjoyed our dinner at Ulu Ocean Grill. The food was very good and the view even better.

Excellent food in a breathtaking location! Was our last night in Hawaii, and well worth it!

There are many good restaurants, but this place has to be on our very special list. This is on the beach north of Kona, Hawaii. Great ambiance. Setting aside from the stunning setting, we would go to thsi restaurant for the food and service. May well be the best seafood we have had, creative cocktails and outstanding service. Space prohibits me from pointing out all the little things they did that simply indicate they are paying attention to all the details..

A special place with great food in an incredible setting.

The ninth year in a row we have gone to this restaurant for our last night on the Big Island. The wait staff is fantastic as is the food. Ask for a, quite literally, beach front table, listen to the surf, watch the sunset, it gets no better than this. Expensive but well worth the cost.

We loved this dining experience at the Four Seasons! The setting is simply stunning.... and we had an ocean front table with a perfect view!

The wait staff was great....and absolutely happy to take our photos.... I can’t imagine how many times they must get asked to do that in a day!

The mongolian beef was outstanding.....as was the shrimp stir fry noodles. They also noted the special occasion we were celebrating with a wonderful chocolate message.....nice touch that we appreciated.

ハワイ島に着いて初めての食事でした。景色の良い場所でと探し、口コミのよかったこのお店を予約しました。予約よりも30分早く着いてしまいましたが、快く案内していただき、食事前に家族で夕日をバックに写真も写してくれ、注文も丁寧に説明がありました。食事はどれも美味しくお箸も進みました。是非また来たいと思いました。

A wonderful, tasty meal. Great service.

The beach-side setting and the very attentive, accomodating and friendly service were the highlights. The food was beautifully presented with the 5 dishes ranging from good to excellent. The dessert was the weakest. Cocktails and wine at the Ulu's ( and throughout the resort) were crazy expensive which we considered a poor value.
