MUST EXPERIENCE! Great atmosphere, we did double appetizers, and double desserts with our dinner to maximize our tasting experience. Hands down one of the best restaurants we've visited on our travels. If driving there after dark, just be mindful that the road leading to the Four Seasons is not well lit, and using Google maps via the Open Table app took us a tad off track. Just follow signs directly to the resort, the vallet can easily direct you. Practically every table has a great, oceanfront view.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. The ambiance, food, and service were all superb and I highly recommend this restaurant to any one in the Kona area. Special shoutout to Chad; he was one of the most personable, knowledgable and efficient servers that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our night would not have been so special without him.

There are many good restaurants, but this place has to be on our very special list. This is on the beach north of Kona, Hawaii. Great ambiance. Setting aside from the stunning setting, we would go to thsi restaurant for the food and service. May well be the best seafood we have had, creative cocktails and outstanding service. Space prohibits me from pointing out all the little things they did that simply indicate they are paying attention to all the details..

The ninth year in a row we have gone to this restaurant for our last night on the Big Island. The wait staff is fantastic as is the food. Ask for a, quite literally, beach front table, listen to the surf, watch the sunset, it gets no better than this. Expensive but well worth the cost.

We loved this dining experience at the Four Seasons! The setting is simply stunning.... and we had an ocean front table with a perfect view!

The wait staff was great....and absolutely happy to take our photos.... I can’t imagine how many times they must get asked to do that in a day!

The mongolian beef was outstanding.....as was the shrimp stir fry noodles. They also noted the special occasion we were celebrating with a wonderful chocolate message.....nice touch that we appreciated.

This is a terrific restaurant.... with a killer sunset view!

ハワイ島に着いて初めての食事でした。景色の良い場所でと探し、口コミのよかったこのお店を予約しました。予約よりも30分早く着いてしまいましたが、快く案内していただき、食事前に家族で夕日をバックに写真も写してくれ、注文も丁寧に説明がありました。食事はどれも美味しくお箸も進みました。是非また来たいと思いました。

The beach-side setting and the very attentive, accomodating and friendly service were the highlights. The food was beautifully presented with the 5 dishes ranging from good to excellent. The dessert was the weakest. Cocktails and wine at the Ulu's ( and throughout the resort) were crazy expensive which we considered a poor value.

This place has a great venue with unparalleled views. The tuna tartar was superb. Unfortunately all other 3 appetizers, entrees, and desserts failed to deliver anything close to the quality expected from venue, prices, and reviews. The calamari was a bit too greasy as if fried at wrong temp. Several fish courses were over cooked and dry ruining an otherwise well seasoned and planned dish. The issue seems to be execution and consistency....as a Chaine de Rotisseurs members we would say we got better food less artfully presented elsewhere. This definitely did not match the reputation of their brand.

Extraordinary location right on the beach. Our corner table was not more than 20 yards from the surf. Fantastic sunset and excellent service made it worth the $300+ bill.

We began and ended our Hawaiian holidays with superlative dining experiences at the 'Ulu Ocean Grill. The warm hospitality and unmatched professionalism and service of the ‘Ulu staff along with each and every one of the exquisitely prepared food selections were all truly superb elements that combined to make for two uniquely brilliant and gastronomically delightful evenings that we will remember with considerable gratitude. Cheers and Mahalo to our extremely knowledgeable and personable host-server, Bronson, and to the entire ‘Ulu team – we are already very much looking forward to the next opportunity that we have to partake in another wonderfully memorable time with you.

Ulus never disappoints! Let’s just begin with the view is so spectacular that they could be serving corn dogs and it would be worth going......but this place has food that tantalizes the taste buds, with wines to accompany! Each year brings a nice new twist, just to keep things interesting. Services leaves you longing for not a thing. One of our favorites!

Our birthday dinner with friends was lovely on all fronts-food, drinks, ambience and just fun! Cocktails were lovely too. The fish was some of the best we had and wine selection was fabulous. The birthday dessert brought to our friend was a special treat and she loved it. We will return at our next visit to Kona.

This was by far the best meal we enjoyed in our two weeks on the Big Island. We started with champagne, so that always gets things off on a good foot. We tried the abalone, which was okay, but probably not worthy of a repeat. But the barbequed mahi was magnificent. Coconut creme brulee for dessert was very good. Hanna, our server, was timely with her service and has an engaging personality. Ask for her!
