Great character great food great service. Always a pleasure dining there and taking new friends to eat there
Birthday with friends
Server was excellent. Food was delicious
Always delicious food!! Love the artwork and the view. However, it’s very loud which is not the most relaxing environment. This is one of our favorite spots in Tampa! We’ll be back!!
We went to celebrate our anniversary and it was so hot and so loud that my husband and I barely talked because we ended up screaming when we did. I had lobster shells in my stuffed shrimp. Our waitress was very sweet, but we couldn’t wait to get out of there.
I've never been there so I was very excited to come. Unfortunately the entire time we sat at our table until we finished our dinner the AC was broken. It finally just kicked on as we were leaving. We were literally dripping. The manager was nice enough to buy us a drink but it was pretty brutal in July in Florida. Other than that, the food was good and the Ambiance was amazing. Our server was also very nice. Hoping to come back when the AC is working properly
The food was outstanding, as usual. But the A/C wasn't working well enough and my guests and I were sweating. The restaurant should have offered something in compensation, such as a free dessert. We were there on 5 p.m. Saturday and the noise was so loud that we couldn't always hear one another.
Overall good experience, but we were seated on the 2nd floor with our reservation and it was hot up there. Very little airflow and definitely no AC. Unpleasant to sweat at a nice dinner indoors. Despite it being summer in FL, it shouldn't matter on which floor you are seated to have a pleasant dining experience.
Extremely loud, food is great, but don't plan on a conversation, especially if you are upstairs.
Have been there a million times and enjoy it each and every visit! We love the charbroiled oysters!
Everything was perfect as usual.
My husband and I decided to try Ulele as a new restaurant. On our first visit the inside of the restaurant was so hot we were sweating, which caused an uncomfortable situation in which to eat hot offerings like mac and cheese, chili, and steak. I had the seafood risotto, and the lobster claw was uncracked, and when I managed to messily get it undone, the meat was so dry that I couldn't eat it. We left before dessert to get out of the heat. Not recommended.
Excellent place, good food, enjoyable, but this is the first time I sit inside and it was really noisy...even if we where sitting upside. Downstairs would not have been OK for me
Amazing food as always! And our Waitress, Amy, was such a delight! So attentive & personable! It was my parents’ first visit and now it’s their new Tampa Favorite!
Great restaurant and interesting history associated with it.
A great place for entertaining friends, with great food, drinks, and service. Kenny our waiter was excellent. I would highly recommend Ulele.
Always a great experience at Ulele
Beautiful location, amazing food, and awesome customer service. Our server was very kind and took the time to explain a few items on the menu we had questions about. We were also gifted a box of chocolates for our anniversary accompanied by a sweet card. We will be coming back!
The place is absolutely beautiful and the food is amazing. When in Tampa, it's a MUST
Amazing experience. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the best for their customers. The food is high quality and delicious. Do yourself a favor and make reservations now.
Great food. Not large portions for the price. Atmosphere was wonderful.
Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Love Ulele!
Didn’t give us the table we requested. Did nothing special for our anniversary.
Great service , drinks and food!
Birthday dinner with my sweetheart. Staff and management went out of their way to make it a special evening. Thanks to all for a wonderful dinner.
Everything was fabulous, service from Meredith was awesome, food was very delicious. Can't wait to return!
Before dinner an older gentleman bartender was awesome with explain the beers outside but after dinner we went back or for a beer and a new younger bartender guy was short with us and rude so we left instead. Other than that everything was awesome
Always a great choice for get together with friends. Great food and great setting.
My husband and I enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. I love the avocado soup and my fish. The designated parking lot was a plus and we look forward to trying that place again.
Do not go expecting fine dining. Instead, you will find very solid food choices (the tomahawk porkchop was excellent, the pork shank and calamari were OK) and adequate service. The real reason to go is for the wine list, which is extensive and basically what you would pay in a liquor store!
We had a great time! We were celebrating my birthday and the manager came to our table and hand delivered a “happy birthday” card signed by all the staff. And he brought a box of chocolates! It was the best experience We have had there so far. We will definitely be returning the tuna is the best!
Sangria is not made by pouring some red wine over ice and sticking a couple of citrus slices in it. When I ask the bartender if they "have Sangria", that means, have they made a batch where the citrus juices, cherries, Italian soda, and orange liquor soaked in the wine overnight. The food was wonderful but I was disappointed when a bartender ran off and hastily threw together a glass of wine with some ice and citrus slices. It is impossible for the flavor that represents Sangria to be there.
The grounds around the restaurant are very cool. The statue of Ulele was the centerpiece for what seemed to be a lot of Instagram posts this evening. The decor on the inside was as good as it was on the outside. The food matched both. I would definitely return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Ulele. This was our first visit, but definitely will not be our last. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made the evening very special. Our dinners were outstanding, and the Key Lime Stack dessert was amazing. Our waitress, Katie, was very attentive and helpful with recommendations.
A go to for special occasions as well as a well deserved break. Ulele always delivers!
The atmosphere, food and decor are fun, relaxed and energizing. The food is amazing with a flare all its own. Our waiter Taylor took excellent care of us and Claudia, one of the hostesses was also extremely helpful. We have already made reservations for our family to all meet up there for dinner.
Cool place, great food and cocktails
My wife and I loved our first (and hopefully not last) visit to Ulele. The menu was eclectic, and the food was delicious... from the wild boar and venison chili appetizer to the scallops my wife had and the crispy (fall off the bone) pork tenderloin entrees and right down to the homemade ice cream. Awesome environment...outside and in. Very attentive service. Would definitely visit again upon our return to Tampa.
Can’t believe I lived here for so long before trying this place! Food was amazing - best Filet Mignon I have ever tasted! The bacon maple ice cream was fantastic! Service was quick and helpful. We will be back!
