We've been here before. It's a big hype of a place. Good pork chop. Very noisy. Won't be back for a while. It's not that great.
Made reservation but still waited 10 minutes...with many empty tables. Food took 20 minutes...too long as it wasn't that busy. Waitress forgot about us for a 20 minute span...our drinks were empty. Good food, however.
My dad was visiting Tampa for the first time, he is also a former chef of 15+ years. We enjoyed every bite and the service was impeccable!

Ate only half a sandwich and cole slaw. Asked left over to be packed for later. Upon getting home, server had "dumped" slow in box with sandwich. Sandwich bun was soggy -- entire one half meal had to be thrown out. Surely this restaurant has cups/bowls for take out. Slaw should have been separated from sandwich. Very thoughtless.

Ulele was fantastic! We enjoyed our experience so much so that we booked another dinner two nights later! Both of our servers, Amy and Milton, were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our meals were fantastic. The atmosphere was fun and festive. We would definitely recommend!!!

Parents 50th anniversary, mom requested ulele. They had an amazing time celebrating.
Very fine food. Charbroiled oysters and steamed oysters both outstanding, as well as lobster sandwiches, grouper, and ahi tuna salads. The ambiance is special, light and airy, and of course 75° temps and FL sunshine are easy to take. Service was competent and friendly. Only downside was how long it took to get food. The restaurant was quite busy.
Ambiance is fabulous. The outdoor seating and indoor decor adds so much. It is not intimate, but the noise level is not intrusive either. The location....on the during the day or at sunset..... is amazing. We split the calamari and seafood risotto. Some of the sauces have a southwestern....I guess Native American....twist. The portion size of the risotto was quite large.

The ambiance was great, beautiful sunsets and on the river. Great menu and the food was very good. We did have a mix-up with a friend gifting us a bottle of wine.
The outside is fabulous. Had cocktails there before going. The restaurant itself is very open and energizing. Service great and food a ten. I had Florida pampamo, my son had sea bass and my husband the seafood risotto. Drinks outside afterwards. Breathtaking sunset.

Customer service was horrible but food was great. First they were out of the wine someone wanted so they picked a back up, they were out of that as well. Dined with 2 vegan friends. The menu states ask about our vegetarian special of the day. Asked and they said they didn’t have one, it was steak. They ordered a salad with no cheese, came out with cheese on it, came back in less then 10 seconds. Asked if they just scraped the cheese off or if they were new salads, of course not going to tell us they scraped the cheese off. Manager could have cared less. My 2 vegan friends ordered the native saute which is supposed to have cranberry beans in it, both couldn’t find any beans, asked server and he said oh yeah they’re in there. Didn’t really care, apologize or offer to bring more beans. Food was great, but customer service is very lacking
Excellent evening to take advantage of Ulele's outdoor ambiance--a cool, clear night warmed by patio space heaters. Good food, very attentive service. Overall, a great place to take family in town for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Ulele offers a comfortable, romantic environment that is local to the beautiful riverwalk and other venues. The atmosphere is warm.and inviting and the meals are always prepared and served to excellent standards.

Actually, I would recommend with reservations. It is fine and the food s very good but it is a factory!!!! Just way to big and impersonal for me. It was nothing like I expected.
Visited twice in the past two weeks. Dinner was wonderful, but they could not block out sunlight in my friend's face.
Most recent was lunch; I do not recommend the lobster roll. The lobster was tasteless and very scant portion; the New England Hot Dog bun was used and the amount of bread overwhelmed the lobster aioli portion. Service outside was not attentive.
There appears to be an outstanding attitude present that outshines this establishment. Chalk it off to immaturity.

The decor is decidedly historic, even Western in nature. The menu choices were quite diverse and everything looked very good. My crispy pork shank was a winner. My complaint was the noise level; unable to hear any of your own conversation.
Always top notch food and atmosphere. I've never left disappointed. Highly recommend the smoked oysters and the Scottish ribeye steak. Guava pie and coconut I've cream for dessert. Great views of the river.
