   Great overall lunch experience. Had to ding the food one star because the mahi mahi was beyond overseasoned. The okra fries were a unique and tasty starter, and the sides of fire-roasted corn succotash and green papaya slaw were both very good. The service (Mark!), ambiance, the patio and grounds, clientele, and a dedicated parking lot (gratis) really sets this apart as a great lunch spot. Highly recommend!

   Food was good and good portions came to us still hot even though it’s a large place and we were on the second floor. Nice location bordering a park on the water. It was pretty loud but was still able to hear the person next to me but if I was at a four top not sure if I could hear everyone. Over all good experience and would go back.

   Very cool atmosphere in a renovated water works warehouse. It sits on the Hillsboro river with a beautiful lawn area. Good vibes. The food is very good with equally as good service.

    Food is always good. I love going for lunch since I feel their lunch menu is better than their dinner menu. Lately the oysters havent been as good but still tasty. Our server was good kind of disappeared for a while but very nice. Now… the hostess in the front could use an attitude check. She looks like she absolutely hates everyone. Very sarcastic not friendly and rude.

    Ulele is a treat - the cocktails are great, the food, our server was fun and funny and knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely recommend for quiet meals as well as groups.

    We had the Captain’s Shrimp, lobster roll and grouper sandwich. All was delicious! Our server Jake was great! We had a beer and frose for drinks, very refreshing in the Florida sun. This was our third visit and we love coming back!

    It was very loud inside. Service was fast so that was great. Food review Gator bites - plain/bland but the dipping sauce was good Pork shank - flavor was pretty good, meat a little dry and a little tough to get off the bone. Strong cinnamon flavor made the spices taste good. Pork chop - good, juicy, as expected Corn muffins - good, strong jalapeño flavor. Some might consider spicy Beers - great It was good, but nothing over the top wonderful.

    The whole experience was great. Our server was amazing. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food selection and she made some great suggestions. The food was fantastic, excellent the green beans. We totally enjoyed ourselves.

    We sat outside with our dog. Service was great! They even brought water and ice cream for our dog. Food and drinks were also amazingly good. We started with the calamari, which was light and crispy. I had the gouda grouper, per recommendation. It was very tasty and a large portion. My husband had the pork shank which was amazing. We had to top off the meal with the famous ice cream.

    We ordered a variety of appetizers and spilt the wedge salad. The salad was a welcome change from the usual wedge seen elsewhere heavily laden with blue cheese dressing. The salad was cold and served with a refreshingly light red wine buttermilk dressing, smoked ham and a sweet corn salsa. Amazing. We also had oysters on the half shell, Ulele's grilled oysters and the Captains Shrimp. The oysters are a favorite and the shrimp was a new dish for us. The shrimp were topped with panko and romano and had the perfect snap.

    Food was great as always. While I have generally had great experiences at Ulele, on this visit, the service could not have been worse. The server was completely overwhelmed and I waited 20 minutes after getting water to order apps and drinks.

    This restaurant is in a very nice location. The service at the outdoor bar was slow and snooty. The table service for dinner was unremarkable. The main problem for us (party of four) was the food. Other than the appetizer of okra -- different, and very nice -- the entrees were really kind of disgusting. Portobello mushroom surrounded by some wild rice, spinach. and a few other unidentifiable items, with some cheese microwaved on top; pompano with green beens in a repellant sauce. Worst restaurant meal I've had in Tampa Bay in quite a while.

    We had a nice table upstairs and I took the table over looking the south side of the lawn and water park. We had ample time to look at the menu and we decided on appetizers, chili, and salad. I have several foods I do not agree with so most entrees would need items removed and I did not want to ask for exceptions for my first visit. I over ordered. However, I would recommend the oysters. I would not order the alligator. Tasty with my salad, but on its own, too salty. I found the grilled shrimp I order for my wedge salad, without the ham, was also heavily salted. The wedge had bell peppers in the corn, which was not mentioned in the description, but overall it was quite tasty and could have been just a full meal. My partner enjoyed the extra hot sauce for the extra hot chilli and he had the blackened shrimp appetizer. The meal with water and tip was over $95.00. I saw a table near by that had the carrot chips and street corn, but the entrees come with sides. We had ample food and enjoyed the walk along the river afterwards. Since I tried this, I may come back to try an entree. Reserving a seat through Open Table a month ago made it easy to get in on a week night. Parking was not difficult. I wore comfortable clothes and most people wore casual clothes.

    It was our first time dine at Ulele. We chose to have lunch outside as the noise level inside was not conducive to conversation. We did not feel the food was up to all the hype. I had a lunch salad which was very underdressed and my husband had a burger which he described as dry. We were both expecting a much higher level experience. The location is lovely.

    Had a great dinner at Ulele. Overall the food was delicious. We sent back the okra fries because we did not like the taste. They weren't breaded like Southern-style fried okra. You really have to like the taste of okra to enjoy them. No fault on Ulele, they were very gracious and allowed us to choose a different appetizer. The seafood risotto was good. The seared scallops were my favorite part of the dish - so perfect! We ate outside and the weather was perfect for it. It gets a little dark once the sun is set, but it was so nice. Even though there were people at all the other tables around us, it wasn't too loud. I wish I had room for dessert, but I had some champagne to drink and it was delightful. Overall, a positive experience and a nice way to treat myself!
