Cuisine and service is amazing. Prices are high.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary here and the food was outstanding. We had the 10 course chef selection fitted for our pescatarian needs and it was an amazing experience. Each course was so delicious with bursts of flavor and many melt in your mouth moments. It was so great to have them showcase their best dishes and offer such a delicious experience that felt like I was on Chopped or Masterchef!!! This is like adult Disney world for your tastebuds and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! Thank you to the chef and wonderfully attentive staff so much for making our anniversary so special.

Once again, Uchi delivers an awesome dining experience. The food servers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. And they give guidance when asked. The preparation and detail to every dish is outstanding. Never a dull moment, and never a dull dish. By far one of the great dining experiences in Houston.

This is by far one of the best sushi restaurants around. My family and I love going to Uchi because the fish is always so fresh and the service is amazing.

Our server, Matt is the greatest! I bet he gets “employee of the year” every year at Uchi! Rest of the staff was top-notch too!

We visited for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed every second! The staff were attentive and detail oriented. Everyone was on top of serving our food, answering all of our questions, and making us feel relaxed. We aren’t well educated in Japanese cuisine and it was comforting to not only have help, but learned a lot about what we were eating! We will be back.

Great food and very good service. A must try is the Brussel sprouts dish and eggplant dish.

Do not sit in the patio if there is a slight chance it could rain, because the hostesses will not reseat you no matter how much it is raining. The food, service by Matt, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant were impeccable like always.

It was so amazing! Would definitely come back again whenever in town. Great ambiance and service was amazing both times.

Great food good service

Brought my in laws from New York for the first time who have high standards for restaurants and food. I will have to say food and service was fantastic. They enjoyed their experience and will definitely come back next time they are in town.

Our waitress, Ayesha, was outstanding and the food was as amazing as ever!

Amazing meal as always

Everything is delicious. A bit pricey but in my opinion worth it.

The food was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We had the lichee cocktail which was one of our most favorite drinks to have there. The staff was great and took really good care of us. Anthony was are server and we enjoyed having him. And at the end as we left the host gave us a nice little parting treat. Also we loved having our car valet the guys outside did a fantastic job.

10 out of 10 would recommend. We LOVE Uchi and we love to celebrate special occasions there. The food is always amazing and never disappoints. The staff is incredible as well and the vibe is always great.

The service was great. However we felt the food was lacking it’s usual punch this time. We always feel “happy” after Uchi, somehow it was lacking this time. Ambiance and service was excellent as always!

Always a delight! All of staff is very knowledgable and kind from the front door to your seat. Each item on the menu would need its own article to fully capture the quality and thought put into these dishes. As a note, if you bring the kids, the fried chicken thighs and the hot rock kept mine at bay.

Love this place, the food is delicious, customer service is excellent, and free valet parking . Confirmed reservation by phone the day before , I was asked if i was celebrating anything. Our sever , John was excellent , went above and beyond. Recomended delicious food items and drinks, and congratulated my friend and I on my house purchase and her MBA:) I’ve come here for special occasions and will continue to return and recommend to friends.

I'm never disappointed when I dine out at Uchi! I don't know how I could ever go back to eating sushi anywhere else.

All I can say is "wow!" A well spaced out, two hour pleasure trip for the palate. Our server was fantastic, and guided us through the menu perfectly. Could not have been better.

My only wish was for smaller capacity, since they only have indoor dining. I still afraid of COVID. Food was outstanding though!

The food was quality and the flavors were awesome. There are plenty of choices for all, hot or cold. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unreasonable up selling. Not taking time to explain menu even when asked.

Fantastic dinner from start to finish. Wonderful server Angie took care of us! 2 sake cocktails were delicious, as were the tempura squash, prawns and onion rings. Escolar (Walu Walu) got even my fish-averse partner to go back for more. Hot rock Wagyu was unctuous and fun. The sesami chicken was moist and tender with a salty crispy skin - yummy!! Ange recommended the Fried Milk for dessert and we just about licked the plate! All distancing and masking protocols were observed, staff was very friendly; couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more!!
