One of the restaurants I make sure to always go to when in Dallas. Their Somakase option is amazing. They really cater to your requests and it relieves the choice of choosing. This past time we went one of us requested the items we get makes us feel full at the end and every single item was high in quality and flavor. Some of my favorites from the night was the karagge, the salmon topped with strawberries, the cooked scallop dish, and the fried milk. 10/10 will always recommend this place!

Personally I felt the food was good, but I don’t think the service received and quality of food justified the price. I’ve been to Uchiko Houston and I personally think the service and food I got previously was much better.

I have celiac disease and they were behind accommodating, better than any Japanese or sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to in the world. The quality of the sushi was as good as it is in Japan and the service and vibe were excellent.

We did the chef's tasting and also added additional items. Several delays and missed dishes but the staff were great since they comp-ed several drinks and additional items. It didn't ruin the meal or experience since we understand they were understaffed. Would still highly recommend Uchi.

Our waitress, Rachel, went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. We gave her our budget and she chose our courses for the evening after asking several questions about our likes and dislikes. What followed caused my husband to admit, “that was the best bite of sushi I’ve ever had,” and, “that was the most incredible bite of beef I’ve ever had.” I had to agree. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, some of it was mind blowing. Service was very slow. I think it took about 45 minutes to even get drinks on the table and food going. we had to ask people walking by multiple times for our server to even come so we could order dessert. Last round of drinks never even came out.

We go to Uchi for a guaranteed wonderful experience every time. We like the Dallas location best. The service is always excellent. We love how the whole team works together to keep your table clean and your food delivered. We hadn’t been for happy hour until this visit and we had fun trying the special menu items on the happy hour menu. The items are very well priced, so we were pleased when we were presented a bill that was around 30% less than we are used to paying. We will be back again, without a doubt.

We don’t typically visit during happy hour - the prices and selection were great! However, the usually pristine service and timing were off during this visit. We still thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu and happy hour cocktails, appetizer and course options.

Service is seamless and impeccable. The food is subtle and perfect - fresh fish, best squash blossoms and you should absolutely not miss the Yuzi Pie. Best dessert EVER.

Always tasty sushi from many selected items and specials that are once in a lifetime. The hama chili is savory and citrusy. My favorite dish. A refreshing taste on a hot summer day. Don’t expect all your typical rolls that you can slather soy sauce all over. Experience the seasoning especially made from your sushi chef.

I have been to several cities and tried many different James Beard and Michelin restaurants. This, is by far, my favorite in the world. I hope, they go out to these new cities, and kick Nobus A**!!!!

My gf and I did the omakase. It was our first time to Uchi in dallas and it was a very lovely experience. We had 3 cocktails each and the omakase. Everything together with a 20% tip came out to around $600.

Water was dripping on me all night from the ceiling. Waiter did not know what was on the tasting menu for the night, and did not want to find out for us. Food and drinks tasted great though

Be careful if you are sitting in one of the booths. The AC was non-stop dripping water on my throughout my entire dinner. They tried drying it several times but it was so gross getting showered by dirty AC drippings while trying to enjoy a not cheap dinner experience. It made the entire experience feel much less special. The service was great and the waiter was very nice but they just kept saying “oh we will dry it” instead of offering to move us. Loved my first time here but this second experience definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
