It wasn't the same without Stephanie, helping us out, but the food was epic as usual.

We sat at the sushi bar, as I love the expert it brings with watching the chefs create masterpieces. We had Charlotte as our beverage server and Ka (sp?) the head chef as our food expert. It was my husband’s first time there and he has wanted to go back almost every day! It is phenomenal!

Always such a great experience at Uchi! We weren’t able to get the server we requested initially, but James took amazing care of us. We visited Uchi to celebrate our anniversary, as we have been doing every year in recent years, and had a phenomenal evening. Can’t wait to go back!

The dinner was fantastic, the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was pretty great. We tried the “servers suggestion menu” and it turned out fantastic. The only issue we had is our server was pretty adamant about not needing soy or wasabi because the food is prepared to be exactly what the chef wants you to taste. I totally understand that especially managing a restaurant myself for my job. However, my girlfriend and I genuinely just love soy and wasabi and we had to ask a couple times for it and eventually just asked a different server for it. We are down for suggestive selling but sometimes we just want what we like as far as additives. Nevertheless, our server did a great job picking out our food and leading us in a great direction. One of the best meals I’ve had since moving to Dallas very recently and one of the best meals I’ve had in general. Thank you Uchi for a great time and experience.

The food NEVER disappoints however this time we had a server that made us feel rushed and wasn’t very welcoming.

Delicious seafood and wonderful service with nice ambiance. Some of the dishes had a repetitive flavor, and the deep fried selections were overly greasy. We let the waiter help with our selections and he did an admirable job, but next time we'd stick to standard rolls and sushi because the seafood is top notch. We arrived during happy hour, which was the only reservation we could get--it turned out terrific because they have great happy hour options. We'd definitely recommend Uchi Dallas, despite the few quibbles.

Excellent food and choices. The waitstaff was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I would definitely return. We went around 5:15 on a Saturday and took advantage of their happy hour menu.

We happily celebrated my husband’s birthday at
Uchi because the experience never disappoints. Every dish exceeds the one before It, but we definitely have our favorites (e.g., machi cure, Gyutoro, namahotate). We love this place!

Overall, the food was good, expect the service did not curate an experience that was designed for us. We told him what he liked, but it was completely different. It felt like the chef was just giving us all of the scraps. I have been many times and this was absolutely the worst. Very unfortunate.

I recently attended Uchi on a date night with my boyfriend and we loved every dish we ordered. Our waiter was super informative and kind— he even heated half of our sake bottle up for us so we could have both hot and cold.
