Two25 provides a unique experience in Peoria dining. The food is clearly ingredient driven and consideration is given to how it's sourced. The restaurant layout provides big city, upscale atmosphere. One of the best local dining experiences.
Despite having a reservation we had to wait while they opened a room behind the bar away from the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was good until my daughter found several hairs in her mashed potatoes. They did take her meal off the bill. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it turned out to be a bad experience.
Always outstanding, excellent food and staff. Lunch menu the best!
The food was good, but not great. The service was acceptable, but nothing special. The particularly disappointing part of this dining experience was that, although we'd made a reservation weeks in advance and arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time, we were seated in an overflow room that was lit like a cafeteria. As this was a Valentine's Day dinner, needless to say that this was not exactly the atmosphere we were looking for.
Made reservations for Valentine’s Day, and got a confirmation email. Then a few days before the date, I got a call from the restaurant confirming I would be there at my reserved time, and I told them yes. I got there right on time and they told me that they wouldn’t have table ready for 20 minutes. If I hadn’t made a reservation, this would have been fine. But whats the point in letting people reserve tables (and confirming with them) if you don’t have a table ready for them when they arrive? Other than this, everything was OK. Food was ok, service was ok, atmosphere was ok. Considering all of these “ok”s, it is NOT worth the price. I generously gave it a 3 star rating. Would bump it down to a 2.5 if it was possible.
Loved the easy access location, as I drove in from out of town. Great atmosphere with lots of drink options available.
We have visited Two25 on multiple occasions, and were looking forward to having our Valentine’s Day dinner there. Our food was not the best we have ever had though. One steak was over cooked; which they did fix. Unfortunately, it then came out undercooked. At that point we just ate it. Our other steak was one of the smallest cuts we have ever been served. It was supposed to be 20 ounces, but we are almost certain it wasn’t. Overall, our experience and service were still good, but we were disappointed with our overall main dish.
Valentines Day dinner!
Always a great lunch at a great price at Two25
Over all it was a good time. Would go back again... and soon.
Love Two25 as my go-to for a mouthwatering steak. We tried the Sea Bass this time and was pleasantly surprised on the flavorful delight. Looking forward to trying other dishes in the future!
One of our favorite restaurants! The ambiance is perfect, excellent food and service.
Nice atmosphere. Food was average. Not a huge menu selection. Service just ok.
The food was fantastic! My wife had a ribeye while I had the beef chop with asparagus. Both were cooked to perfection. The service was good, unobtrusive but prompt. Our first visit, but not the last for sure.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. We were very impressed with the service and the food was delicious! A bit pricey but worth every dime.
Great spot , great food and ambience... service was good at the beginning but slowed after entres were served. Overall , steak and fish were out standing but the fried calamari was incredible, a must try ! Will definitely go again!
The wine list and beer selection continues to lag significantly behind the food quality.
There are so many good wines that to have a list such as theirs is really a problem.
We went New Year’s Eve The seating in the middle is more cozy and romantic but we were fine toward the back too. Service was fine although it took a little while to get started. While it’s not inexpensive every meal the four of us had was well worth it. New York strip was fantastic and I know the two pasta dishes in our group were too. 225 is a place that my wife and I kind of forget about when searching for fine dining. The last time there was a New Year’s Eve a few years back
Again the food was excellent
It was a great Christmas eve dinner with my family. The waiter, Sam was wonderful. He made the evening a special nite with his helpfulness and attentiveness. Please send him and Trent our thanks. We will be asking for him when we go back.
Two25 is still our favorite restaurant in Peoria. Has been for many years now.
Two25 is a favorite for us. Instead of the usual bottle of wine several diners went with cocktails- everyone was pleased. Some in our party went with their usual-wouldn’t order anything else -filets. The filets are tender, tasty and I understand why they enjoy it so much. It is also a value for the price. The other entrees at the table included salmon (another hit) - but tonight’s winner was the shrimp scampi. It was superb, not too garlicky or buttery, serving size was perfect. Sorry I’ve overlooked it in the past-I have so many other favorites I usually go to, it will not be overlooked in the future. The special treat Brandy Alexander was a great finish. Thanks to Gary for perfect service.
Our food and service was amazing! We will definitely return for special occasions in the future!
Always enjoy eating here. Staff if very friendly. Food is great.
Always verry happy with our experience at two25. We love the atmosphere, food, and drinks. two25 is our go to place for steak and drinks of choice. The steaks are always cooked perfectly. We like that we can get dressed up and go for a special occasion, or just drop by in jeans. The staff is always very knowledgeable, and never make us feel rushed. It's always a great time at two25.
Service was awesome! Food was amazing and delicious! Worth the price. Got a little loud at times, but overall wonderful experience!
Food was exquisite as always! Service was unusually slow--typically top notch. We did get a free dessert out of it.
Great food, the filet was outstanding, the scalloped potatoes were excellent too. Service was great, maybe a little too fast if you want to talk a lot. For the appetizer we had the calamari, very tender and tasty. We had no room left for dessert, unfortunately. Great experience all together. Highly recommended.
The food was great we got in right in our reservation time and got our food pretty quick. The food was good for the most part. We got our food and ate all in 45 minutes. Which was great because it was our anniversary and we had other plans. A lady came by and collected our dishes even though she was not our server. When she collected the plates we asked for our bill. She said no problem and went on her way. 20 minutes went by and no sign of our server and the bill. It was like we were forgotten about. We then flagged a different girl down and asked again for our bill and she informed us that our server was on his way. Needless to say that’s not how we pictured our anniversary. Our server was so quick and in and out that we didn’t even have a chance to tell him it was our anniversary.
Excellent pizza! Great service and atmosphere!
Atmosphere was great. The food was very subpar. It was lacking in flavor and would not ever come back. The pricing compared to quality of food was atrocious!! I did however like the place itself and staff and everyone was great.
The wait staff was wonderful. We ordered the ribeye steak, with mashed potato and salad. The steak was charred to perfection. It was a wonderful experience.
The calamari was the best we've ever had. Attentive service and filling portions.
The food and service was fantastic as usual. This is a nice place to spend time with friends and family and have a great meal and drinks. Our reservation was ready when we walked in and we were made to feel very welcome.
A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. The toasted brie appetizer, pear salad and filet mignon are out-of-this-world fantastic. Best restaurant in Peoria.
Server was awesome, as usual. She is very sweet, efficient and friendly, as we are used to with her over the last several times.
From out of town and was looking for a nice place w/ good atmosphere for dinner. Thought for price food was just ok. The ambiance was very cool, service was good. My husband didn't care for the cocktails either but we are definite foodies used to really good craft cocktails and exceptional food.
This is the third time while visiting Peoria that I have eaten at the 225. I highly recommend it. The flavorful steaks can be cut with a fork and their signature au gratin potatoes are wonderful. I just wish I lived closer to this place. Just LOVE IT.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and very Good wines. One of my favorite places to dine.
We had made reservations for the 5 of us weeks in advance for 5pm ON A WEDNESDAY. We were rushed through our dinner, which was a birthday celebration. They started clearing dishes as soon as we put our forks down. Offering us to go boxes while we were still eating. At 6:30, the server told us point blank that they needed our table. We found that to be very rude. The place was NOT full; there were other tables. We will NOT be returning.
It was quite nice all around great service, great food, great fancy restaurant style place. We very much so like the dimmed lights so you only really focused on those at your table. All around great place to go eat!
