New Years Eve - great dinner.
We took our family for an early New Year’s Eve dinner. The food was amazing, the ambiance stunning and the service devine! This is a gem of a restaurant and we will definitely be back!! We loved everything about it!
The restaurant has wonderful view of the Tappan Zee bridge at night. The waitstaff was friendly and welcoming and the intimate setting was very nice. The food was very good. The lobster guacamole was delicious and different. Definitely worth the trip to Nyack.
Terrific evening. We are repeat customers. Good food and setting. Only criticism was a long wait for our food. We will be back.
Service was poor and we sat for 1 hr and 25 mins and the appetizers are the only thing that came out.
We enjoy everything about 2 Spear. Highly recommend going there.
My husband and I have been here several times and are never disappointed. We came from Long Island and met with friends from NJ
Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food.
I was disappointed that they add an extra fee of nearly $10 if a credit card is used instead of cash to what was already an expensive meal. The waiter indicated the restaurant has to post this and it is then up to the customer. He was a bit rude when I asked about it and seemed very put off that I had the audacity to ask. The notice was on the inside door as you walk into the restaurant and would be very clearly overlooked as you walk in with a group. Also, not many people carry cash these days. While the fee isn’t going to break the bank, this practice in a restaurant filled with patrons and charging high prices left a “bad taste in my mouth” and I will not patronize it again.
The food was fantastic and the service outstanding. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
I had fabulous shrimp tacos. My husband had the chicken sandwich and my friend had the crab cake eggs benedict. We really enjoyed them all. The turtle cheesecake lollipops were the best dessert for my friends birthday brunch. Service is always attentive and helpful. This is our favorite restaurant in Nyack.
Beautiful atmosphere and views, excellent service and food.
One of my husband’s and I favorite places! The atmosphere, service and food is always fabulous! I recommend weather permitting to sit outside, enjoy a cocktail and the view, and then enjoy a tasty dinner! Trevor and the staff always excel!
We were looking for a delicious restaurant on the water with great views and Two Spear delivered on both. We sat outside and enjoyed a fabulous view and we were very happy with the food. I ordered the cucumber avocado cold soup special and scallops special and loved them both. Highly recommend.
Our first time dining here. We were the first diners for a Sunday Brunch so it was quiet. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food. We will return.
Food was not great, especially for the price. Service was pleasant but slow.
Perfect place for socially distant outdoor dining. Good service, good food, good view of the Hudson River and the former TZB.
What can I say, the food was hands down 10 out of 10 delicious, I believe Louis was our chef and we wanted to meet him to say thank you. Our server Amanda was the best server I’ve ever ran across; great spirit, and warm charm. Thank you all that took part in making our girls night out dinner the best experience ever.
Service - The staff was very friendly, no complaints at all
Ambience - I was surprised that the outdoor dining area is essentially in the parking lot, I thought it was closer to the water than it actually is.
Food - the appetizers were fine, not particularly good or bad. The entrees were poorly prepared. Salmon was way overdone and overpriced, gnocchi was undercooked and far too dense...it was like eating mashed potato balls. Even dessert was subpar as the cheesecake pops were served frozen.
Great views of Mario Cuomo bridge and food. Lobster guacamole is amazing.
Ate on the outside deck. The only downside to the deck is that, although you can see the water and the bridge, you are pretty much overlooking the parking lot so ambiance is nice but not great.
We had to wait 10 min for an addl member of our group to arrive, but drinks and bread came out quickly. The cornbread is delicious! Server took our order soon after. It seemed to take an awful long time for our food to arrive considering there weren’t very many diners this day. That being said, my salmon was cooked to perfection but might’ve used a bit more flavor (spices, sauce?). It was still good though. Those who had the crab cake Benedict liked their meal and my taste of the crab cake was wonderful. Also, the person who had the sirloin meal thought it was excellent. And the creme brûlée was perfect, crispy top and creamy inside.
Was pricey but the food was overall worth the money if you appreciate good food.
Food was delicious. Smell of people smoking pot nearby wasn’t my thing.
Had a nice brunch with my girlfriend Saturday at 2pm. Not very crowded. Food and service were excellent
Dined on July 4th. Food good, but restaurant added 22% tip (for 3 people) and a surchage for paying via credit card. We did not know of either beforehand. A bit of a shock after an otherwise good meal.
Had a very enjoyable dinner with family. Would definitely go back
Spear street is my go to restaurant. The staff is attentive to my needs without being intrusive. Food presentation and taste are excellent. They are careful with any dietary restrictions we have.
We have had family events in their banquet rooms and have never been disappointed.
We enjoyed our experience however their website states on the home page that masks must be worn by their staff at all times. Not a single staff member had a mask on. It wasn't even that they were below their noses... there were no masks worn by anyone at all. This was a little unsettling especially since their website specifically mentions it.
Excellent food, very accommodating for food allergies, loved the outdoor seating and view of the bridge and waterfront
Good food. Very good service. Nice patio sitting area.
Beautiful view. Lou ouster music that we were told they could not turn down. Good food and prompt service.
Enjoyed the outdoor setting with nice view. Excellent food, good service. Somehow, the drinks took quite a while to arrive.
Very nice patio for outdoor seating, beautiful view of the river and Tappen Zee (Cuomo . . .) bridge, and excellent food and service.
As avid restaurant goers my girlfriends and I find restaurant week a great place to check out new restaurants as a whole to see if they should be added to our rotation. Unfortunately I do not think any of us will be back. The service was terrible. We have been to many spots the past 2 weeks for HVRW and this was the most underwhelming experience we have had. Beside the service being terrible ( basically non excitant) the choices for the RW menu were rather sad. 2 Salads for apps, and 4 entrees that 2 of which were serves with salad. Was actually quite comical. But we ordered some regular apps off the main menu. We were so excited at first. Oh well. Hopefully it was just an off night but would def not return.
Service was slow and not because they were busy. We had to bring the check into the bar to pay and our waitress was hanging out by the bar talking to the bartender. The food was not seasoned well enough. The view was beautiful.
Great food and service.
Great Mother’s Day brunch.
We got to sit outside for Mother’s Day celebration. The service was great. The food was overall good (the crepe was not the best as the shell was hard). The value for the meal was not great ($75 for 3 course brunch) but it is a good place overall.
Two taxes PLUS Non cash adjustment added to bill. No indication of fees or additional taxes noted on menu.
Loved it here. Food and drinks were delicious, we sat outside and enjoyed a nice view of the river. Staff was very accommodating. Definitely coming back again.
