I love the two salmon cafe buffet. We have enjoyed going as a group for good food and friendly service. Sadly, they are going to be tearing it down and putting other restaurants in it's place. We will give the new place a try once it is in, but the buffet will be missed!
Dissapointed to hear that the buffet has been discontinued.
The server at the carving station was very frugal when it came to slicing the prime rib even though it was an all you can eat prime rib. The food was replenished very slowly. Food was mediocre and limited in variety.
Been going down hill ever since before construction started. By comparison to Skagit the food is no where near as good, nor is the menu. They got a new chef and things have improve greatly. Maybe the cure for Two Salmons is in the upper staff as well. Queuing at check in is part of the problem but the buffet needs help as well. Many times during the week and weekend the choices are not very appetizing.
Good options for a buffet at a good price. The property is on the water with a beautiful view. There is gaming in a small casino environment with friendly staff.
We had early easter lunch and family birthdays. Enjoyable experience.
The food was good, the waitstaff was friendly and courteous, The chef was willing to give a little extra assistance.
Great staff, wonderful seafooods prime rib was good.
Wonderful as always
The Friday night seafood was so great! The people are very friendly and I just love it there!Thankyou all so much
Always great variety of seafood on Friday nights. Love all you can eat crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters, fish and variety of other buffet items. Full meal in Ludington drink and dessert. Drinks from bar offered for add on fee. Delicious. .
The website shows "Pacific Rim Cuisine" on Thursday night. When I looked up the definition it showed - typical food of the Pacific area but with an Asian flavor/cooking style. (One of the examples it gave was teriyaki salmon.) The only seafood on the whole buffet was the small shrimp available for the Pad Thai. When reading the website I understood there were certain foods that were nightly with specials added for the theme; did not seem to be the case. We were definitely expecting some sort of fish (maybe Salmon - reference the name of the restaurant), crab, or clam. Reference the price we knew it would not be much but maybe something from the northwest. We definitely felt for a casino buffet it was extremely limited on entrees. The salad bar area was nice. The deserts were disappointing.
The hostess was exceptionally friendly, our waitress great and if I considered only those two reference service I would have had to say excellent, but the gentleman behind the buffet was nearly rude when I asked about the Pad Thai.
Noisy fir casual conversation near water.
This time they ran out of three items. Prime rib carver had to leave station to fill.
had reservation.still had to wait extra 15 min...food was cold.....had to wait for drinks.....to much smoke..wont go to another casino to eat again..
We enjoyed the casual atmosphere in the cafe. There was an uncomfortable wait for the line to move before we were seated. That was seemingly unnecessary; maybe another way to check in those with reservations opposed to others trying to fit in somewhere would be a good idea.
The food was good; not exceptional! The prime rib was also O.K! The mashed potatoes container was empty; I could have asked for a refill but didn't. The green beans & salads were satisfactory. My family enjoyed the crab legs & shrimp. But I was hesitant to eat shrimp due to recent ads on Facebook about them being injected in Asia to "plump them up" for sales. Posting that the seafood is "fresh or local" would be advised. One other complaint is that the dessert selection was scarce. Offered were bread pudding, a cobbler, and scattered slices of pie or unappetizing cake. It was not appealing!
The fact that it provided a venue for dinner on Christmas Day was appreciated. $29.99 a person seemed pricey for the quality of food.
The Christmas buffet was so disappointing. The food was lukewarm. The crab legs when opened had a lot of water in them. The desserts or lack thereof looked disgusting and we wouldn't even try those.
