They were severely understaffed on a Friday night. I don’t think they knew we were coming even though we booked on open table. We did book very late though. About an hour before. We waited over an hour, nearly an hour and a half for our meal, with no appetizers ordered. A few smaller tables were in and out before us. There was very little communication from our server. We almost walked out. They offered drinks such as beer and wine but we declined. They gave us 50% off our check and gave us all dessert on the house to go. There was a metal bit of a scrubber in my pasta that I was sharing with my toddler. They comped that one. It was an awful experience but appreciated that they tried to make it right at least.
It was our first time dining here. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer which was fantastic. It was served nice and hot. The restaurant serves a really good garlic bread that looks like it’s tied in a knot which comes with your meal. The Spaghetti with meat sauce was full of flavor and the Chicken Marsala was nicely prepared and very tender. The cream of carrot soup was absolutely wonderful. Portions were nice and service was friendly. We recommend this place and will definitely return but please note parking can be a problem. Street parking is available.
Service was spotty. They had no wine glasses to serve. Seemed like something was amiss. First time in many years.
I would consider this a good "every day" neighborhood option for an Italian meal.
Although parking can be an issue, we chose Two Guys from Italy for its ambience, delicious food, and convenient location. We were enjoying our meal and the pleasant surroundings so much we managed to let the time get away from us. We were to be going to a theaterical performance after our meal, but we'd failed to mention that from the outset to our server. Once we did, she saw to it with grace that we received the rest of our meal and check immediately so we'd not run late and timely enough so we wouldn't have to "wolf it down". The food was hot, beautifully presented, and delicious. We'll definitely dine here again, but make sure we get there earlier so we have time for one of their great desserts!
My wife has been familiar with the restaurant for year but since we moved in to the area it has become a regular spot on our dining calendar.
Had a customer from China that was in town and was looking for a place to take them to dinner
Not knowing the area very well I depended on Open Table to find me a nice place that I could get into
Very happy with the choice as the food was very good as well as reasonably priced
Service could have been a bit more attentive but likely due to how busy they were
Would definitely recommend as well as if I am in the neighborhood again I would give this place strong consideration for a return visit
A very pleasant restaurant with good Italian food at a reasonable price.
Great & service! We had a partyof10 & we all enjoyed ourselvesourselves . I would have liked the have air conditioner to be a little coolerthe We will come back
Excellent Italian food, good service, moderate prices.
Dinner was fantastic. Picked this place as a reference from Open Table. Loved the sauce on my pizza, and the complementary bruschetta with garlic bread was heavenly. Very nice house chardonnay. Will definitely be back.
THE MEATLOVERS PIZZA IS THE TASTIEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD.
I used to go here when I was little. Every week with my family. I miss the original location but I think the food is still delicious.
Parking was the only down side. The recommendations were great and food was very flavorful.
The food was great. Quantity of food was also good enough. Best thing...there menu has many vegetarian options...unlike other places which only has veg pizzas or pastas!
Its like a hidden gem on a otherwise quiet street. I ll recommend it to all friends..
