Awesome Valentine's Day dinner. It was our first time at Two Chefs and we will for sure be going back. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was excellent and the ambiance was romantic and soft.
A gem in South Miami, quite probably in Miami-Dade. Very good rood at very reasonable prices, very good portion sizes, efficient, unobtrusive service. Best crab cake we've had in some time.
The food was exquisite! The steak was man sized. My wife gave me A++!
We wanted to go someplace special for a birthday dinner, and Two Chefs did not disappoint. We've always had excellent food there, the service is superb, and it ranks close to our favorite in Miami, which turns out to be somewhat noisier and more informal, which are areas in which 2 Chefs has an edge--quieter and a little more formal. We began with glasses of prosecco and separate delicious crab cakes, taking advantage of the 3 course menu. The pork tenderloin with some nice wrapped asparagus was great and the seafood pasta delicious. Their souffles are fabulous and made the meal. The portions are large; we continued to enjoy the pork the next day. We'll definitely be back.
They have a multi course menu for $45. Try the crac cakes. Crispy but soft inside with roumelade sauce.
Good, not great. I would only go here if one has no other options - and there are so many in Miami.
Service was "standard" and what you might find in a less expensive restaurant. Seems like the servers have been there for such a long time that they don't raise their professionalism with customers, "another day at work."
This restaurant has been around for a very long time and appears to have a consistent clientele. And that's exactly what the restaurant is good for.
Good, not great. Expensive for good. There are many other restaurants in our county and in the Keys that are superior.
Lovely environment with variety of menu options. We all enjoyed our meals, except for the waiter bringing entrees before we finished our appetizers. Soufflés were delicious and hot hot hot! A yummy end to a delicious meal.
Amazing dinner and experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. The hostess is wonderful and made us feel special. She recommended the Meatloaf and Chicken Choo. We took her advice and absolutely loved our meal. We will definitely be back.
The good was great. The service was not at good as other times that we have been there.
Favorite restaurant. We've never had a bad meal here. Plentiful easy parking. Note:It can get a little loud especially Fri/Sat nights. My only wish is that they were open on Sundays.
The food was delicious as always. I was there with a friend and wanted a leisurely lunch so we could spend time catching up. As the lunch went on, I remembered why I hadn’t been there in a while—the last time I was there with another friend, the same waiter hovered and kept asking if we wanted anything else. He seemed annoyed that we were sitting too long. He did the same thing on this visit. I don’t like spending my money and being made to feel as if I am imposing by NOT eating and running. No meal is worth that.
Felt like dining in NYC high end small restaurant
Food & service were fantastic!!!! We were celebrating our anniversary. Must visit!!! My only complaint is that they said that they did not see with our reservation my $25 voucher. I was told that I needed to print out a certificate.
This was the darkest restaurant ve ever been in. The waiter was inattentive, but polite. His attitude turned slightly annoys because we were ordering the Miami spice menu. Didn't offer any lighting to read menu. Only came back after dessert to present bill.
Great experience! We chose Miami Spice Dinner Menu and enjoyed it very much. Just a little dark...
Meatloaf was excellent. A pianist or Harpists would definitely attract more clientele.
Steak was overdone on outside and undercooked inside pretty poor effort. Waiters don’t know anything about the food and they bus their own tables leading to them focus less on service
Food was excellent but our waiter seemed to keep forgetting about us. Had to wait a long time to order our food. The food was excellent though.
To me, Two Chefs is a secret neighborhood restaurant that deserves to be shared with anyone hungry for great food in the southeastern United States. A perfectly crafted menu with multiple choices, all fresh, fulfilling and delicious, as well as the most wordly-stocked bar and most skilled bartender anywhere! With staff and servers who make you feel comfortably right at home. This is my favorite meal house.
We were turned away at the door 5 minutes to our appointment time. I believe we were discriminated against. There is absolutely no reason for that!!! I will never go to 2 Chefs nor make a reservation through Open Table again.
The food and experience was awesome!! You definitely need to check it out during the Miami Spice event!! Will definitely be back!!
Jan greeted us at the door, and the experience was outstanding. We took advantage of the Miami Spice menu, which was a great value for this level of cuisine. Branzino fileted perfectly, Ahi tuna with orzo, the souffles...all excellent. Very nice cocktail and wine nemus, as well. Will repeat.
This Restaurant has served good honest food for more than a decade. They continue to do so in a lovely ambience.
My friends and I have been looking for an exceptional restaurant in the Kendall/South area and we've finally found it. We had a fabulous experience and look forward to returning soon.
We celebrated my parent's 60th anniversary. Access to the restaurant was very easy for my parents. Service was friendly and excellent. The food was delicious. 2 Chefs is a neighborhood restaurant. Many locals enjoy dining either in dining room or at the bar. Juan is one of the best bartenders in Miami.
Overall experience was wonderful! Crab cake, lechon skewer, berry soufflé were all "the best"!! Waiters were very polite, dignified and professional.
Bra Zion is best in Miami!
Excellent restaurant. Highly recommended! They also have a separate area where you can have functions with a chef that helps you cook
We had a great meal here. Celebrated my daughter's graduation from UMiami. Highly recommend! And don't skip dessert!
I wish the waiter would have mentioned that the appetizer and entree I ordered were served with the exact same sides. Crab cake and salmon - both with beans and cherry tomatoes with a lot of oil! Very noisy - even moving to a table in the back corner.
As usual excellent service and food, their soufflés are the best in Miami-Dade County
A great restaurant and the best bar east of the Missisippi! No one, nowhere has a better bartender or booze and the food is nearly just as great. How lucky we are nearby to have such a cozy, comfortable and convenient place to dine and drink at the top!
Excellent food and surprisingly elegant setting hidden in a strip mall.
We live very far from this place (an hour from our house) so we don't get here often but the food is excellent and frankly, the place is worth the drive .
Consistently excellent food for over 15 years now. They have a wood oven so the flat breads are amazing. Every main dish we had was cooked perfectly including a perfectly rare tuna steak and a juicy pork chop. French fries are perfectly crispy as well, , though I would prefer a skinnier fry.
Best of all, they make fabulous soufflés for dessert. Order both the grand mariner and the chocolate. Worth every single calorie!
Restaurant lighting was too dark. Service was mediocre and the food was average- nothing to write home about. Very expensive for what it was.
Waiter served incorrect plate to two of us. Not very attentive.
Will not be going back anytime soon.
First visit- outstanding service- everyone friendly-varied menu- very good food- entrees can be a tad pricey, but in this instance you do get what you pay for including large portions, and their three course offerings are a value at ($45) for what you get. Only complaint- could use some less expensive choices on the wine list. Will go back- definitely recommend it.
Had a nice evening out with the hubby. Not to crowded as we went early. So I recommend reservations. Will be back :)
Highly recommend! Our food was fantastic, but the service was a little slow to start. Classic cocktails were done well. We had moist and meaty Bronzino, luchious double cut pork chop, mushroom flatbread, New York strip cooked medium rare ( a little fatty, but flavorful). Accompaniments were delightful, and the soufflés for dessert were melt in your mouth. We had reservations through open table.
I have already sent in a review of the non-existent dinner and you have heard from my would be guest, Steven Brown but I have not had a word from either you or TWO chefs. I will not be using you in the future. Ivan Davis
