This is more a review for Open Table more than anything else. I booked this reservation the week before our trip as we had a party of 10 and it was important for us to get together as we were all travelling from different locations. I received a confirmation and even a reminder via email. As it happened, the afternoon before the reservation a couple of our staff wanted to look at the menu for the restaurant. Unfortunately, we found through that search that the restaurant closed...PERMANENTLY!!! We are not sure what happened, but a cursory search of the internet found that this restaurant was no longer in operation. We were not informed in any way by Open Table. We had an impossible time finding a restaurant to accommodate us that evening. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust Open Table with my scheduling needs and will need to go directly through restaurants in the future. There needs to be a procedure for these types of situations. I won't be back to this website.

Just two hours before going for dinner at 2 Chefs Seafood Oyster Bar, we found out from a friend that it was closed permanently! Their website makes no mention of this. We were still able to make a reservation through open table and received email/text confirmations. This restaurant needs to be delisted for reservations through Open Table.

I find it interesting that OpenTable helps you make reservations for a place that is CLOSED! We arrived 15 minutes early and were completely surprised, to say the least. THEN, we had to find an alternative venue, and ultimately decided to travel completely across town to each at one of our regular places that is not even on OpenTable. A MUCH better choice in the long run, but very disappointed in OpenTable, to say the least.

This place never return call, found out permanently closed. Why are they still taking reservations. Very bad for open table. Take off this restaurant from your lists and inform customers.

Very disappointing! Made a reservation for our anniversary and was really looking forward to it. Got there and there are closed forever! Open Table, it would have been nice if you hadn’t taken the reservation. Yes it’s part of your job to know these things.

Got reminders about the Thursday reservation on several days. When we got to the restaurant , it was closed!
A note informed customers that due to a malfunction the restaurant was closed for two days. I wished the managers had thought to inform people who had made reservations through opentable ! Huge disappointment for a birthday dinner.

Overall I had a good impression. Food was impressive and bartender was knowledgeable. However the food service was amazingly slow (well over an hour after we ordered and they were out of the fresh fish. Never did get the bottle of wine that we ordered. All in all though it was good.

Where do I begin....Two Chefs is one of my favorite places for dinner or brunch. This day was for my mothers 77th birthday and my entire family loved everything (drinks, appetizers, dinner/brunch). We had deviled eggs and fried green Tomatoes to start and they were amazing. I had Chicken and Waffles and it was off the charts...others had the crab cakes, salmon, and shrimp and grits. The staff is amazing and we could not have had a better day!!!!
Love this place!!??

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My party size increased significantly and they were able to help me with that. The staff and the manager were very kind and attentive to the needs of my friends, (some have a lot of allergies) and they were most helpful in making sure their food was okay. The food was amazing. I had never been to this restaurant so I had no idea how it would have been. My friends all enjoyed their meals and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you so much!

Went for dinner on Saturday, November 4. The Waiter was quite attentive, the Duck Hash was superb, as was the Po' Boy and Fried Chicken. The Banana Bread Pudding knocked our socks off. Will definitely be back to try the oysters!

Very disappointed in the raw oysters .... they just didn't have that fresh salty taste we love so much. I think they had been pre-shucked and kind of dried up! Had a po boy which was good and some red beans and rice .... just OK. Brussel sprouts were great! Wish they had a house wine because at everything $10 and up per glass, it gets kind of pricey! Still a neat little place but next time, we will eat in the bar area where it is cooler and quieter.

We had a yen for oysters and seafood for lunch. The raw oysters were too expensive so I settled for the oyster po-boy. The oysters were small and overbreaded. The Caesar salad, however, was outstanding. My specialty cocktail had too little rum. My husband wanted fish but there was only one choice of fresh fish, in spite of the fact that seafood is advertised in the name of this place. This is a place for a business lunch of sandwiches and burgers for those who work nearby. Two options for seating: in the kitchen at casual tables or the bar with high top tables.

Everything from appetizers through Banana Bread dessert was so tasty and delicious. We shared multiple starters so everyone could savor each item (calamari, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes and oysters) were all spot on and the horse radish knocked us for an epicurean delight and that was out of this world! Mains were a step above the starters and dessert the perfect toppings to a wonderfully delicious dinner.

The food was amazing, especially the chicken and waffle. However, service wasn’t the best. Our waitress took our order and didn’t put it in until 30 minutes later. Once we received our food, it was the wrong order.

Two Chefs has excellent fresh seafood that is prepared in creative ways to bring out the best flavors. Oysters are always extremely fresh and tasty and a bargain during happy hour. Service is friendly and attentive.

A good experience overall. The place is on the smaller side with maybe ten tables for up to 4 guests each. All tables were occupied, so a reservation is a must (even Wednesday night). It offers an open kitchen, so you can pretty uch watch your food being prepared.
We took advantage of the Magical Dining menu, which offered decent choices. They also had a wine pairing list to match the menu, which we thought a great idea (at $25 per person). The food was very good, and the wine matches adequate. Unfortunately a rose was not chilled and had to be replaced with a white wine.
The waiter was new and still learning, so a couple of glitches had to be excused. But he was attentive and friendly.
They offer Happy Hour and Sunday brunch, something we will be sure to try out !

Restaurant was smaller than expected and a little loud for Sunday Brunch, but the food more than made up for it. They sure don't skimp on the champagne in their mimosas!

The staff were friendly and helpful answering questions about the food and cocktails. I had magical dining but the regular menu offerings were reasonably priced. The white magnolia, my food, dessert and coffee were excellent!

Wow, we enjoyed a great brunch. The food was excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive. People were friendly and drinks were very good. If you haven't been to Two Chefs, you need to check it out and enjoy.

I had such high hopes for this establishment. From the very first moments it was an unusual experience. The door we entered had us in the back of the bar area with no discernible direction on where to find a host. When asking a member of the wait staff how to go about being seated, the response was a under-the-breath grumble and him walking over to a table. We assumed we were supposed to sit there. Ambiance is confused. A few paintings on the wall, but the rest of the restaurant was unfinished corporate office. Candle-light on the table with Green Day and The All-American Rejects blasting loud enough through a single speaker over the bar to drown any chance at conversation. But still we held out hope for a delicious meal.

The New Orleans cuisine was anything but. We had oysters, barbecue shrimp, fish tacos, and the shrimp and grits. Having grown up in Louisiana, I can say with certainty that there was no part of the meal, outside of dish names, inspired by real New Orleans cuisine. Food was prepared poorly. Ingredients were “off”; for example my andouille sausage was a simple summer sausage instead. Tastes were either completely wrong or, in the case of the shrimp and grits, non-existent.

It was a disappointing experience on every level. I’m not a person with overly high expectations, and I couldn’t be talked into going back. I do hope my experience was a fluke, but I find it hard to believe that there’s a way for them to achieve a great experience from what I’ve seen.

I should have known things would be bad when, despite a 5:45 reservation, they sat us at a high top table in the bar even though the restaurant was virtually empty. We were 'served' by the bartender who was way too busy to wait tables. We watched while others around us were served. We ordered oysters but our waiter never came back to take the drink order. We kept flagging people down to get water, drinks, etc. After about 30 min we caught her on a drive by and said that we wanted to order dinner. We got the appetizer but another 45 min went by and still no dinner. We caught the bartender again and told her we had to leave to get to a show.

A horrible experience.
