Waitress was excellent and so pleasant, even though she had all the tables and the bar since they were short staffed!
Never been disappointed! Service is always awesome ! Thanks so much our friends are always impressed when we take them here !
The hostess insisted that we need to sit right by the door, even though the place was empty; poor service; real stupid! We left shortly afterwards.
This is our third visit to the Twisted Vine. The food is always consistently good and service is very good. It is a bit loud at times but not too bad. The calamari is excellent and the pork shank is usually excellent, but this time a little dry. We needed to ask for more sauce. It is a bit pricy, however, but would recommend this restaurant for date night or visiting friends.
The best thing about the meal was the salads. They were very good and portions were plentiful. The main dishes on the other hand were very overpriced for what you get. Food was just so so.
The cheeseboard was delicious, so I would definitely recommend it. I miss the honeycomb that used to come with it, but still great! I had the scallops, and my kiddo had the burger and fries. Both were great! Wine selection is good too. I’ll be back!
Overall experience was very nice. They were out of Brie, which isn’t a big deal unless you had your heart set on their Brie burger... they subbed Boursin, and it was still good, just not what I was craving. Wine list was solid- even the lower end Pinot noir was quite tasty! Server seemed slightly put off by the low price tag on our check ($80 for two) but I wasn’t looking for a food coma, just a couple of apps and wine. It was ideal for that and I will definitely return.
My husband and I frequently have cocktails and tapas here before a show at Florida Rep. Have not dined here in quite a while but have had good experiences in the past. We had house guests in from other areas of FL and thought this would work for a good downtown Fort Myers experience. We (party of 8) were late for our 7:30 reservation but were graciously seated at 7:50. That was the end of the good experience....my favorite apps were sold out....drinks were slow to come.... and dinners (mostly the scallops) were not served until after 10:30 and were so mediocre and disappointing! (still miss the chef from long ago and his luscious scallops with black forbidden rice!) The food was only fair, the service inadequate and although the server brought us unsolicited complimentary desserts....a lovely gesture....but not good enough to correct the experience.
6 of us went for dinner, we had a wonderful time a really fun place with wonderful food & service, would recommend this restaurant totally.
A little overpriced for breakfast food and the food was not hot. Went to the Jazz brunch for a birthday celebration and the band played "Happy Birthday" which was very nice. However they took roughly a 20-30 min. break after an hour of warming up (not really playing) during what was only a 3+/- hour brunch, and the main reason we picked Twisted Vine was for the music, so that was disappointing. But the server was exceptional.
Very good selection of food, very tasty. Excellent service. Tastefully decorated.
Always an amazing dinner and service.
The Food was outstanding; we had calamari, tips w/bleu cheese chunks for appetizers, wedge salads w/bleu cheese dressing, and for the main course we had the salmon and bay scallops.
The only thing that I did not understand was when we made the reservation one question was if it was for a special occasion, and we answered yes our 38th anniversary. There was no mention of that when we dined at the Twisted Vine Bistro.
Very nice server and food special was pretty good.
nothing special.at all
Dinner with my husband. Great service and food!!!
Food was overpriced and service was a bit slow. I have dined here several times, this was disappointing.
Exceptional service and food. Great ambience!! Our waiter Tim was
On top of everything but subtle. Really enjoyed the food. Great location!
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. While the service was very attentive and helpful and cheery, the food was not very good at all and especially overpriced for the mediocrity of the meals we were served.....
Terrific meal with super service by Adam. Starting with memorable fried green tomatoes paired alongside excellent burrata, my scallops and Dave’s shrimp and grits were delicious! Great experience...we’ll be back.
Recommended by a local and extremely disappointed. I am sure if you received your food hot and timely it is tasty, hope wever, not enough servers and served cold food. Not a good combination. I am a year around Naples resident and would never go there in season.
Our onion soup appetizers were served lukewarm with huge globs of floating cold cheese on toast after a considerable wait. Serving of one main courses was also delayed. The beef entree was significantly over cooked and cold. The brussels sprouts were served undercooked in a cold skillet. After having been seated for well over an hour, we sent the entrees back and went elsewhere for a desert in lieu of dinner.
The table next to us experienced the same kind of problem....very disappointed....we used to thoroughly enjoy dining at Twisted Vine
Usually our favorite place to visit while on vacation, prices to be disappointing from being seated in the corner, lukewarm appetizer after waiting one hour!
I love this Resturant. However last night we had the steak salad which was to be on arugula. There was mixed greens and not a shred of arugula. Tasty but disappointing. We also had the calamari which was a little greasy, very small amount, had a tasty aioli sauce but few banana peppers. Waitress said she would tell the chef and made no attempt to make up to us. I won’t return soon
We will remember this Valentine’s Day meal for a long time but not in a good way. We won’t be going back to Twisted Vine ever. The waitress was great but it took them 2 times to cook our food and then we left without eating. The owner didn’t ask us to pay it was so bad. Frozen lobster and over cooked steak.
Excellent service with a very diverse menu.
Visited on Valentine’s Day and. New Years Eve. Had big expections for these special occasions. Place looks great with high energy. Table was ready at the reservation time. Both times we felt the food was just at or below average. New Years meal was way over priced. Not as good experience as in past years.
We ordered a tuna poke appetizer and all of us found it to be over salted. One dinner of short ribs was also too salty. Two of us had a caesar salad with salmon on top. The salmon was very good. The salad was a bit flat. Our server was attentive and friendly.
Charming restaurant. The staff was very short handed as a server had quit that evening. The lovely ladies who were serving were perfectly poised and kept everything running smoothly. We had a very enjoyable dinner, food was excellent and so was the wine.
Overall I have to say the food was pretty spectacular. The store was the scallops, and the chicken was also exceptional. I would give this food at five star rating. What I was very unhappy With, the proximity of the people at the next table. Gentleman at the next table, his back was pushed up right to the corner of our table. He could not been closer or any more on top of us. This was no fault of the gentleman, it was the fault of the restaurant, The tables were entirely way too close together. The The wait staff did not seem to care. Also I found very upsetting, I ordered the wedge salad and asked for it Chopped, when it came out it was not , the waitress informed me that Chef did not want to chop salad! I was absolutely stunned. A floor manager had come by and had witnessed this, and was very kind enough to give me a complementary glass of wine. That was much appreciated. But to be told the chef did not want to chop the salad, come on now. Between this and the crowd at tables I was not completely thrilled my Dining experience. This is a fairly Expensive restaurant, that should not be happening. Again I will say the food was exceptional and I will give them one more chance. I sure hope they can do better.
The best thing that could happen to this restaurant is that it would go out of business. It was a truly horrible experience. We will never go back
The arrival experience was a little shaky, but things did improve. We did ask for a seating at 7:00 PM, but got seated around 7:15 PM. Evidently, the hostess thought my last name was humorous, which I thought was not in good taste. The food we ordered was quite good. I had two main issues, the closeness of the adjoining table, and the higher than average pricing for wine. I normally expect wine to be priced at 2.5 times retail price. The bottle of wine I ordered was approx. 3.4 times the normal retail price.
Great, parking is a problem.
It was our anniversary which was included in the reservation, but the restaurant did not acknowledge.
Upon entry the hostess never smiled or said hello. However was seated promptly. Sat there literally a minimum of 15 minutes before anyone came over and asked for the drink order. I will add the server Adam was Johnny on the spot checking in with us often. I felt that the restaurant was a little dark and a small jazz duo was playing in the background.
The food was quite good actually and certainly would consider going back for dinner. The lunch menu however was lackluster.
We used to love this place but this was our 2nd lack luster visit. The fried green tomato appetizer was served with 2 slices of tomato-I found that ridiculously small. When I asked the server if anyone ever said that was really too small they said, all the time, but the new chef does things his own way. I asked him to pass my feedback to the chef that it was delicious but way too small of a serving for $13. He never offered to make it right.
The pork shank was minimally flavored and we expected it to have more. The broccolini was yellowing and when I mentioned that it didn’t seem fresh because it was so yellow he simply said that no one else complained and again didn’t consider making it right. Unfortunately we won’t go back.
The place was way too noisy for conversation. The food was average at best and the menu did not have much to offer. The special which was the steak with shrimp and asparagus was adequate at best it was a very disappointing meal for all four of us
I made a reservation through Open Table. Didn't realize that later in the evening after we got home that the restaurant had cancelled our reservation without any explanation. However we were there at 5 pm, and they did have the reservation. Weird. We were seated at a high top table, and at the end of our meal the entertainment (loud Sax) started playing. good thing that we were ready to leave. I would say that our visit was fair. I have been to this place several times (5). Sometimes it has been great sometimes not so much.
They were out of a few drink options and a menu item, but the service was awesome and they made up for the missing items.
Food is always a little less impressive than the description and price cause you to hope. Service was efficient, bordering on brusque: our server grabbed a wine glass as soon as a member of our party appeared to be done. We were early in the evening so not sure what the rush was.
