Our waiter, Adam, was exemplary. My friend and I weren't overly hungry, so we ordered french onion soup and appys. We asked for the soup first. A different server brought out our entire order. Within a minute, Adam noticed we had not received our meal as requested. He checked with us then removed the appys and returned to the kitchen until we were ready. Shortly thereafter, he returned to our table with a glass of wine to share as an apology.
The service was professional, pleasant, the response for the error was appropriate. We watched Adam while we were there, he hustled and yet gave attention to each table.
The food, though we didn't have a full meal, was really good, the soup was rich and a bit salty, just the way it should be. The sirloin tips melted in our mouths, tender, juicy and flavourful.

Food started off great, bread and the appetizers were wonderful. I split a dinner of grouper over risotto with my husband and neither one of us could really enjoy it. The fish was done okay but there was so much salt flavor in the risotto it ruined the meal. It was the only flavor you could taste.

This was our first time at the Twisted Vine, but it won't be our last. We were meeting some friends we hadn't seen in a very long time. We wanted a place where we could catch up and not be hurried through our meal. The Twisted Vine met and exceeded our expectations! The Sunday Brunch menu options were delicious and were a good value :)

We decided to sit at the bar. After three wonderful appetizers-glazed Brussels sprouts, tuna poke and calamari-we shared the short ribs. Each dish was well prepared and memorable. The bar tender, Kristen, was friendly and professional. We will return.

I ordered the special. $46 for a ribeye steak with three shrimp. The shrimp were below average and the ribeye steak was very very thin.

Second time I hace made a reservation on opentable and restaurant not even open for lunch! Drove an hour and a half to meet friends who also had driven equally far. The hostess could have cared less. S aid the owner deals with all this kind of stuff. Was not impressed!!!

Dining here was a new experience for me. I was quite pleased with every aspect of it. My brother was here visiting fom out of town and another of our party recommended The Twisted Vine. The food was great and so was the service. A real plus is that one can enjoy the downtown area after dinner. Definitely going back!!!

We visit this restaurant on every trip to ft Myers. The food is consistently good. Sometimes they run out of their bottles of wine so we just bring our own now.

The Christmas Day buffet was inedible. The cold buffet was good but the hot buffet wasn’t hot at all. Our server filled our water glass once and that was when she brought the check and we asked. The icing on the cake was the automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 2. Terrible food and terrible service.

Service was poor from the moment we (5 of us) entered the restaurant. Hosts were not professional - young and immature with an "I really don't need to be here" attitude. Staff "hangs out", rather than paying attention to the customer. Server was not helpful and the food came out cold. Water glasses were never refilled. We have visited The Twisted Vine on 2 other occasions, but this time we were very disappointed. We won't return.

Great service from a charming waitress. Good food (though the steak frites was not the classic preparation) and quiet with a fetching decor.

The food was terrific...we both had the chili as a starter and it could have been lunch for a lot of people...great flavor, just enough spice. My luncheon companion and I both opted for a salad and it was the perfect finish...just enough dressing. Well done.

Our server, Julie, was a lot of fun and very informative about the menu.

wife's salad was drowning in so much dressing she couldn't eat it, my chicken overcooked and way to much salt, friends beef over salted, friends wife soup way to salty so she only ate about a third. when we brought this to our waiters attention his attitude was "sorry but oh well". he should have taken the salad and the soup off the bill as the ladies didn't eat either as it was so bad. will not be going back nor do i recommend this place to anyone

Always one of our first choices for food and wine in Fort Myers. Unfortunately the kitchen staff disappointed more than our group of eight on Saturday evening. The food preparation was extremely slow and kitchen staff showed little professionalism and/or organization. The service team delivered food with little knowledge of serving skills for food and wine and no explanation or apology for the inadequacies of the kitchen staff. A few words of remorse would have been more memorable than the dining experience. We are hoping that some of the previous staff return and share their knowledge and expertise that Twisted Vine once had. We are truly hoping that management can sort through this so all can enjoy an evening of great food, wine and service shared with family and friends.

Enjoyed the ambience with sax player in background and candle light. The house wine was quality. Food was nice. I think a little on the pricey side though with draft beers at $7. Also seemed to be only restaurant that did not provide valet parking. $15 to park car and acoustics loud in restaurant. Bill about $200 with tip for four with one drink per person and no dessert. We would return though as it is a nicer ambience then the theme restaurants downtown.

Very disappointed when I took friends to dinner at Twisted--my very favorite FM restaurant. We were led to a high-top right next to the music. Hostess moved us, which we all appreciated. All others enjoyed the food but my burger was ice-cold and there was no way to report this because server didn't check. Noise was over the top on Friday night. I will stick to Sunday brunch or post-Florida Rep Saturday matinees. On all other occasions I have given this restaurant an excellent review.

The food was excellent and the idea of a free glass of wine for theater attendees was clever. The best part was the wait staff. Our waitress provided us just the right amount of attention.

Dinner before theater (Florida Rep) was perfect. Our waiter asked if we had theater plans and assured us that we would be out in time for the play. His enthusiasm for the night's special salmon presentation sold my husband and my husband was not disappointed. He raved about the taste and unique preparation. He graded it 5 plus stars. I was in the mood for a good burger and that's what I was served. It was done exactly how I requested, and was unique in that the cheese was brie instead of one of the standard varieties. What a difference that made! We love Twisted Vine and recommend it as a choice when you want fine dining in Fort Myers. For a small space, it has big customer satisfaction.

This restaurant was a real disappointment !
Our reservation was at 8pm. Sat right away and ordered. At 9:15 our food was still not served and the place was just about empty. Our waiter was phenomenal but that’s all that was good. When owners/manager was told what was going on their reply was “we don’t care”. There was no offer to comp anything! The food wasn’t that great either. Do yourself a favor.......stay away from the Twisted Vine! You’ll regret it if you eat there!

More than pleased with the service and the staff. The original seating was tight and at a high top for 8 people: we requested a different arrangement and the bar manager jumped thru hoops to get it taken care of. We have been their a couple times; It is among our new go to places:

For a party of five all five dishes came out separately and three dishes had to be sent back twice as they were cold the first time and over cooked the second time.

Servers has no clue how to handle their orders or deal with s situation and basically raised their hands and did not accomplish anything.

Manager took the three entities of the bill.

I normally give a restaurant a benefit of the doubt but not this time. Sorry you failed!!!
