Our party did not like having to sit at a high top table. We asked for a regular table but were told we had to reserve one in advance. Never heard that one before. We had a reservation but not for a specific table type. The lobster mac and cheese was great. Brussel sprout appy not so great. Service was very friendly and good.

I had a table by the door, was very disturbing. Would not let me move, though there were other tables available, we had a 4-top with no room to set the wine on the table.

Our waiter, Adam, was exemplary. My friend and I weren't overly hungry, so we ordered french onion soup and appys. We asked for the soup first. A different server brought out our entire order. Within a minute, Adam noticed we had not received our meal as requested. He checked with us then removed the appys and returned to the kitchen until we were ready. Shortly thereafter, he returned to our table with a glass of wine to share as an apology.
The service was professional, pleasant, the response for the error was appropriate. We watched Adam while we were there, he hustled and yet gave attention to each table.
The food, though we didn't have a full meal, was really good, the soup was rich and a bit salty, just the way it should be. The sirloin tips melted in our mouths, tender, juicy and flavourful.

Food started off great, bread and the appetizers were wonderful. I split a dinner of grouper over risotto with my husband and neither one of us could really enjoy it. The fish was done okay but there was so much salt flavor in the risotto it ruined the meal. It was the only flavor you could taste.

This was our first time at the Twisted Vine, but it won't be our last. We were meeting some friends we hadn't seen in a very long time. We wanted a place where we could catch up and not be hurried through our meal. The Twisted Vine met and exceeded our expectations! The Sunday Brunch menu options were delicious and were a good value :)

Have been to twisted vine many times and it’s one of my favorite places downtown. Unfortunately this time the kitchen was off and the food quality was not consistent.
We were a bit disappointed, but will try again. Hopefully our next visit will be more in line with what we have come to expect from the twisted vine

We decided to sit at the bar. After three wonderful appetizers-glazed Brussels sprouts, tuna poke and calamari-we shared the short ribs. Each dish was well prepared and memorable. The bar tender, Kristen, was friendly and professional. We will return.

I ordered the special. $46 for a ribeye steak with three shrimp. The shrimp were below average and the ribeye steak was very very thin.
