The food was just delicious and the wait staff were very friendly and efficient. Best thing was, we did not feel rushed al all. Very relaxing dinner. Thank you
We were there before a concert. Our service was excellent and the food was tasty. Great casual place in the heart of downtown Bethlehem.
Several of us had the crab cakes which were delicious. You received two generous portions accompanied by a lemon remoulade. Also a delicious medley of vegetables consisting of zucchini, yellow squash, green beans and fresh corn kernels The vegetables were cooked perfectly al dente and retained their bright colors. I opted for double veggies instead of the mashed potatoes. The squash was cut nicely into pleasing crescent moon shapes. We were pleasantly greeted by a Manager or host when we arrived. Our waiter seemed to be a bit annoyed with us that we did not order straight away. He kept coming back and asking us if we were ready. He seemed relieved when we did order and his demeanor changed to a more positive vibe. It was not as if the restaurant was crowded and there were lines waiting for tables. We all found it a bit strange that they did not serve bread of any kind with the meal. I have been other places where they serve each person a small roll with tongs, which is plenty to tame one's hunger until dinner is served. I have been other places that serve breadsticks or crackers of some sort. Something small would go along way without costing much. Salad is all a la carte as well.
There is a reason the Twisted Olive is one of our top "go-to" restaurants in Bethlehem. The food, cocktails and service are always superb!
I was there with a reservation for a large group of 10 on a Monday night. The restaurant, aside from our 2 larger party reservations, was not overly busy. Our waitress seemed very bothered to have to wait on our group. It was very difficult to get her attention, and we had to ask for every single thing from salt she was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent but our cranky service really put a damper on the overall experience.
We have dined at Twisted Olive before....food is always enjoyable-
Request was honored. Service was good. Server was pleasant.
Crab cakes were better than compatible or even more expensive restaurants. Salmon was average.
Overall a good experience. Will return.
It was our first time at Twisted Olive and we will definitely be returning. The food was fabulous, the service was great. I highly recommend going here.
The Twisted Olive was a nice surprise. Many places in Bethlehem are and were closed on Sunday (even Mother’s Day). The Twisted Olive was open for Mother’s Day and was very good, we arrived 30 minutes earlier that our reservations but we were seated promptly. The food was really good, the noise level was great, it was a bit pricey and the beer list isn’t to my liking, but that’s me.
Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately recognized and taken to our table. Service was prompt, informative and incredibly personable. Our needs were met with excellent care and our table was never left desiring anything. All of that is nothing in comparison to the food. Each plate came out so delightfully delectable that our taste buds were dancing a sweet dance of joy. It was most certainly the best Mother's Day meal I have ever enjoyed.
This was the first time at The Twisted Olive, which I chose for its lunch menu. Unfortunately, they decided not to offer the lunch menu b/c of Mother’s Day. The food we ordered was good, but again, we weren’t aware of the menu switch.
Very nice menu. Food was very good. Server was very pleasant and attentive.
We all enjoyed our food choices. Even our son, who is vegetarian, found some good selections to choose from. Service and atmosphere were good too. Definitely would recommend and will return for another great meal.
Great food, but fish tacos we're not the same. Double soft shells rather than crunchy wrapped with soft and a little soggy. Cappuccino didn't have enough frothy milk, Expresso mediocre. Server never offered desert.
We had seared prosciutto tuna, Calamari, hibiscus Brie crostini and edamame hummus apps to start & all was delicious except the hummus. Hummus was very bland. Our meals were equally delicious! Our waitress was great n fun! Will definitely go again and recommend to others!
Not what I expected...really a bar which kinda feels like it’s in the basement, with a dining area that has absolutely no atmosphere. It was quite empty when we were there on a Monday nite, but the room is open and I would imagine it gets noisy if they are fortunate enough to have a crowd. Not for me.
Just Ok not worth money
Food was different and delish!!
First time here. Convenient parking garage. Food was very good and liked the decor. Would go back again.
The food and service was excellent!! Looking forward to going back!
Food was excellent - wife had crab cakes and I had ahi tuna. Both were cooked to perfection. Service staff did a great job!
Wonderful food drink and service. Very nice evening with husband. Much needed relaxing dinner for two!!! 😎🌴
Would have liked some crusty bread with the meal. But food is excellent.
A great find via Open Table!! We loved all of our dinners. We ordered the pork belly salad, skirt steak and calamaretti. All were fabulous!
Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! Great evening out! Will be back again!
The food was excellent. I had the baramundi fish with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a lemon sauce. My husband had a pasta with seafood. The shrimp were enormous. We were a little early for our reesrvation so we opted to sit in bar area in order to be seated earlier. The service in bar area was a little slow but not bad.
I don't know why I don't eat at Twisted Olive at least once a week. All types of food, different price points and totally delicious. The drinks are amazing as well.
Interesting infused cocktails. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and short rib ravioli for main course. Both were really good!
Very congenial and helpful staff. Food was very good also. Prepared gluten free for myself and not only was it good but their understanding was greatly appreciated.
The service was excellent. All details were well covered. The food was excellent, as always. The flavor profiles were top notch. The tuna tartar was super fresh and had great flavor with avocado and capers in the mix.
I reserved a table for 8 for a girl's night out. Our waitress Pierina was excellent and very attentive to all of us. We all enjoyed our meals. Food was delicious and served without a long wait. My crab cakes were the best I have ever had and can't wait to come back and have them again! We had a wonderful evening and definitely will be back! Thank You Twisted Olive for an enjoyable evening!
Always a good time, great service and delicious food
Usually a five star and one of our favorite places to eat. This was St. Patty's day weekend and perhaps they were a bit overwhelmed. Drinks took longer than usual and our appetizer was missed. Steak on a Stone was excellent as always as were the scallops.
Waitresses seemed to be bothered by doing their job. No smiles. Food kept coming out raw and we were served warm glasses of water. Asked for ice and other condiments, never came. Another waitress walked by our table and coughed without covering her mouth. I left there upset because we had family in from CT to celebrate my husband’s birthday and I’m the one who made the reservation. Not the way we wanted to celebrate my husband’s 51st birthday!
We had a great lunch and wonderful service by Matt!
I booked The Twisted Olive for my birthday celebration. I have been here before and loved it! They have a diverse menu, with a little something for everyone. Delicious food. Great service. And yummy drinks. Highly recommend.
Went with my husband for a nice date night dinner. Twisted Oliver never fails to impress us. The food is always fun and cooked to perfection. Our server was fun and attentive without being overbearing. The food was paced nicely. I got a few small plates from their wonderful menu FILLED with small plate options, my husband got soup and the lamp entree. The grilled octopus was so tender and full of char grilled flavor (my favorite!), the crab bisque was really tasty and warming and filled with lumps of crab. We were really pleased with everything about our dinner. Love the dim lighting and warm atmosphere. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
I met friends for dinner on a Tuesday night. There were 5 other parties in the restaurant. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent. He was very attentive and knew all about the menu items. I and my friend had potato encrusted scallops. They were served with creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed squash. The. Scallops were crisp outside and deliciously moist inside. There was a light, crunchy potato topping that creamy the crunch. Our friend had white fish presented over potatoes. Broccoli rabe was the vegetable. We also had drinks. We split a bottle of wine with dinner. We all got dessert (chocolate lava cake - just ok, rum soaked pound cake- a bit dry and fried apple pie - the best of the three)and Irish coffees. We each spent about $50. The restaurant is spacious, you’re not seated on top of adjacent tables. The ambiance was casually comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.
Perfect location for a laid back date night. Food was excellent, very friendly and courteous staff. We will definitely be back.
