Very good food with in a cute little dining area in back. Different than most others in Fells Point.
Great food. Loved the atmosphere. Braised lamb was outstanding
As always, we were warmly greeted by Judd. He is such a great asset to Twist. He remembers the customers and greets them by name. Mouchine, the owner, came out to greet us as well. They make us feel like part of their family. Tonight, we were having an early celebration for my husband’s birthday. We requested to be seated in the back dining room as it is much quieter there. He ordered their special dinner of a steak with shrimp stuffed with crab and zucchini and squash sautéed with olive oil and garlic. He was in heaven. Our friend also ordered a steak with a side of pasta with olive oil and garlic. She savored her meal as well. I am a huge fan of their Mediterranean lamb burger. It is always so satisfying and delicious. We just love that we can BYOB. We really had a great birthday celebration at Twist!
Great Mediterranean cuisine spot in Fells Point. The BYOB arrangement is a plus. They feature a variety of options, and all we had were excellently prepared and presented.
The Moroccan dishes are above and beyond. The Benedict was also amazing. Definitely will be a new regular spot.
This was our first time at Twist and we are glad we tried it. The brunch food was very good. And now we have a new spot for breakfast.
The setting, s rc
Food was DELICIOUS!! The host was wonderful and very accommodating! The server however, was less then dynamic..not quick to take our order, refill our water our bring our check. We will return but would request a different server!
Third visit and always love the Twist. BYO Bottle makes it special (always drink exactly what you want) and super affordable. Diverse menu a new Mediterranean, and old favorites. Our top spot in Fells.
A very good find. Had no idea about the restaurant other than what I read on their website. Glad I gave it a try. Had the scallops which were delicious and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. A little noisy but all in all, I would recommend the restaurant.
We picked this restaurant sight unseen, using Open Table reviews, for a brunch after my daughter's morning graduation in Baltimore. It was a rainy Friday afternoon and the restaurant was not busy. It is very charming, with an eclectic flair. It is BYOB, so we bought a bottle of champagne and made mimosas with orange juice supplied by the restaurant. The menu was quite extensive, with enough options to please the vegetarians and carnivores among us. We were all happy with our meals and all said that we would go back. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we all managed to find spots close by.
Great lamb shank, best I’ve tasted
We went for Mother’s Day and it was so cute and quaint. The layout of an open kitchen that we could view was great along with the service!!
Absolutely perfect from start to finish!!!!
Cozy place with good ambiance and a fun menu. Our table ordered the calamari (good), lamb shank (amazing!), pasta with rock shrimp (al dente), almond cake (yummy) and Lavazza cappuccino (perfect). Loved the attentive service and the food. I had never been to a BYOB place but took a wine ($5 to uncork) and thought it was great! I'm looking forward to going back and having the perfectly marinated lamb shank--yummy.
The fried chicken was fried extremely hard. I was charged a $5 corkage fee a bottle that had a twist to. Overall the food and experience was good. I would go back again to try something else.
Twist is an incredible dining experience! Everything on the menu is delicious and authentic. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food and the service is friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend highly enough. I will definitely be going back and bringing my friends/family!
Very good food nice decor good service
The BEST gluten free pancakes I've ever had!!!!
Stopped in for brunch on Sunday morning and will definitely be back. The inside isn't huge, so it's a nice cozy environment. I had the croissant french toast with almond syrup and my boyfriend had the crab meat omelette. Both were spectacular. Food came out so fast and the service was very attentive. Definitely recommend.
Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed it.
Overall, food, service and abiance was great for a business lunch. Our server was attentive, however, smelled heavily of cigarette smoke every time he came to our table. I would suggest having servers refrain from smoking while serving their tables. It was a bit of a turn off. The smell lingered after he walked away which was a bit unappetizing. Otherwise, the experience was fine, and I would reocmmend it.
Our favorite go-to place when needing to dine in that area; never disappointed!
All was very good. Just felt a little rushed as it was a birthday celebration. Very nice to be able to make a reservation.
Always great food!
Great meal! Loved the food and the service was great.
Always delicious with changing menu, lots of excellent Mediterranean choices. Crab and avocado salad with roasted red pepper dressing was perfect.
Loved Twist. Travelled to Fells Point for our anniversary. Enjoyed the Mezze Plate appetizer so much that we returned 2 days later and also took one home with us to enjoy the next day. Highly recommended.
Went with a group after a race. We chose the restaurant as they are known for being accommodating with special diet needs. They offered to make anything possible gluten-free for my friend which was much appreciated. We brought several bottles of champagne for BYOB mimosas- there is a $5 corkage fee for each bottle. The food was very well prepared, came out quickly, and our server was very attentive and accommodating.
The food was creative, delicious, and plentiful without being so enormous we felt uncomfortable. Everything we ordered was wonderful, but the braised lamb shank was outstanding -- especially since I normally don't care for lamb.
The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The outside of the restaurant doesn't scream Fine Dining Within. It should.
They went the extra mile for a birthday and called me more than once after I left my credit card there. It was a great experience.
Great Chesapeake Eggs Benedict! And the nicest servers really made the brunch special.
Brunch was tasty. Portions were moderate.
"Twist Fells Point BYOB"---the food here is delicious, plates are plentiful, the color and presentation mouth-watering, the choices broad, the BYOB part is just icing on the cake (5$/bottle corkage fee, includes glasses, ice bucket, ice...excellent).
Our table of six had a mix of Sunday Brunch items: The Mediterranean breakfast plates were wonderful...the Eggs Benedict wonderful (best value in the house?)...each had a special house touch. I had the lamb shank, at the waiter's recommendation...simply succulent, with roasted veggies and a wonderful risotto, enough meat to give everyone a bite...one guy had the lamb burger, said he'd be back with friends to do it again.
You too will want to go back time and again, and you will be proud to bring friends and family. A great neighborhood gem, terrific service, friendly on-site owner---a clear winner for the Inner Harbor!
The service here is always amazing! I've done dates with my husband and brunch with the entire family. This last visit was brunch. The chef made both of my children a small waffle with fruit while we were still looking at the menu. The food is delicious. We have tried many things on the menu and everything we've tried has been great.
I was excited to try a new place, and decided to try The Twist. The location was great, the place was clean, service was excellent, however food was poor. I got the Baltimore Omelet. My English was burnt to a crisp. The omelet tasted and looked like a microwave omelet I would have gotten from Dunkin Donuts. The crab meat on the inside was cold, and tasted like can crab meat. Not fresh at all. I received a very small portion of fruit. Not worth the money at all. If they got a new chef, I would be open to going back. The place itself is so nice.
The service was still very accommodating and amazing! It is a BYOB place, and they provided us with an ice bucket for the wine and other things. The food was great and we were very pleased with the restaurant! Will definitely go again.
Food was very good.
Wonderful dinning experience at twist for a group of 12 people , attentive service , highly executed dishes and very reasonable pricing , get the lamb shank and the almond cake , heavenly tasty.
A very disappointing experience. We will not return and could not recommend this restaurant. Our waiter seemed discombobulated upon arrival and never got into his groove.I ordered the scallops with a side of asparagus and was told they had neither??? So I settled on the salmon which was average at best. My husband ordered the crab cakes which were pale, pasty and unseasoned. My son had the Twist burger which was over cooked and had a hair on it. The restaurant just doesn’t work, it presents as disorganized, unclean, and it’s genre screams confused. Definitely not worth a visit!
