Twist by Pierre Gagnaire - Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Amazing service and the food was delicious. Quite expensive but worth the experience. We both had a tasting menu with the wine pairing, which was a fantastic wine selection w generous pours. We did not hold back and our bill w tip was about $750 for 2 of us, so be prepared to splurge.
The best restaurant we’ve ever been.
Foods are very good, ambiance great, staffs all very professional. Makes us feel so at home.
The captin Juan Carlos Ruiz is too nice, when he found out its our anniversary, he gave us super dessert and took us for a special tour of their kitchen, we got to meet all the staffs in the kitchen.
Their kitchen is so clean , even the floors perfect.
Lastly he help us took our photos around the restaurant and even outside the restaurant.
Makes us feel like a family. Much better than Ritz Carlton.
What more can you ask for👍🎊🎊🎊
Ouch. Had high hopes of this place but the food was appallingly bad. The wine was good but could not make up for the food disasters. The waiters were polite, appreciated the failures caused and waived most of the bill but a place at this level can simply not afford this. Such a shame we really hoped for a smashing success today.
Excellent wine selections. Appreciated free appetizers and desserts. Great small plate dishes. Unfortunately, seafood main dishes were probably twisted a bit wrong way. Not tasty at all. Should have tried meat dishes. Great ambient, though. Considering quality and taste of main dishes it feels a bit over-priced.
Outstanding in every way. We had the 777 seven course meal with the wine pairing. So good, just too much. We were advised that we should set aside three hours for dinner, and that came true. Absolutely a wonderful dining experience. Next time we are going to have the five course dinner.
Dinner with perfect cuisine, impeccable service in a truly beautiful dining room with stunning views of the Las Vegas strip is one of our most memorable experiences. In the panoply of great Vegas French restaurants, Guy Savoy, Joel Robuchon, Le Cirque and perhaps Eiffel Tower, it is clearly the best. Altogether a terrific experience!!
Twist by PG was truly excellent, after being totally disappointed by Joel Robuchon's 3M star restaurant at MGM, I was afraid that I would encounter a similar experience, however, Twist brought it to the table, PG menu was amazing and the service was professional.
My only observation and recommendation is that Twist enforces a more strict and adequate dress code I saw people that where wearing snickers, I know is Vegas but as a brand I believe you should establish the rules of fine dining....
A sublime fine dining experience that accommodated all of our food restrictions. Many thanks to the kitchen and waitstaff who exceeded expectations and provided a wonderful 80th birthday celebration for my mother. Hats off to Chef, who was able to accommodate vegan and low FODMAP diet restrictions. We had tasting menus adjusted to each of our preferences paired with outstanding old and new world wine selections. Tip - save room for the bread and hand-churned butter from Normandy.
Another fine anniversary dinner at Twist. Our second time here, and I asked for a table by the window and we were seated at the same awesome table as our last visit! Nice touch, and as the manager said jokingly, “we have a file”!
As expected the food we excellent. We did not do the tasting menu, but struggled to finish all the fine food. The extras they bring are very good and the service is simply impeccable !! The anniversary surprise was also thoughtful and appreciated!
The decor is also cool at the top of the Mandarin Oriental.
Go into this expecting to pay quite a bit especially if you get a fine bottle of wine, but you won’t be disappointed in the food or service, it is simply outstanding!
Well done staff at Twist, you all rock !!

I visit Twist every time I visit Vegas, subject to reservation availability. This is one of my top 5 restaurants of all time. The Chef add-ins are fabulous, the presentation is picture perfect, the staff moves in step and knows the art of fine dining. I have never been anything but amazed at the experiences.
My friend, a world traveler, has partaken of Chef Pierre Gagnaire's cuisine in many parts of the world. He recommended I should try it. Since I happened to be staying in Las Vegas for a few days I found the time to visit the Twist for a marvelous meal. Every course was a treat and sometimes a surprise. Our server, Sunday, was especially responsive and helpful when we had questions.
Absolutely fantastic. We had a six course tasting menu with wine pairings and a vegan tasting menu. Every dish was excellent, and the pairings were as well. The dishes were inventive, tasteful and well-presented....a tour de force for the palate. When desserts arrived we found the table swathed in tasty options, much like the parting volley at a fireworks display.
Hats off to the chef. Service was also top notch: amiable, accommodating and highly attentive. We would gladly forego a Vegas show any evening for a rerun of this meal.
The view was nice too.
Absolutely brilliant in every way. We enjoyed the Fall tasting menu, which was creative and incredible; accompanied by wines from the 'new world' which enhanced every flavor.
I've had the pleasure of dining at many fine restaurants around the world, this falls into top twenty worldwide --- only thing I cant fathom is why this location isn't at least a 2-star Michelin rating.
Sunday was the BEST server! He definitely made our meal fun! The chef's "tasting treats' during the meal were a nice surprise. The restaurant is beautiful! The servers were all very attentive and friendly! Sadly, the main courses were our least favorite dishes. We ordered ala' carte; Pierre Salad was super tasty and fresh along with seasonal cheeses that were delicious. Scallops and Lobster dishes fell a little short on flavor. The scallop dish is actually only 2 scallops cut into halves. The accomponiments to the Lobster entree were delicious. Deserts were all over the board with the apple tart and chocolate "mousse like dessert" being our favorites.
