Twist by PG was truly excellent, after being totally disappointed by Joel Robuchon's 3M star restaurant at MGM, I was afraid that I would encounter a similar experience, however, Twist brought it to the table, PG menu was amazing and the service was professional.

My only observation and recommendation is that Twist enforces a more strict and adequate dress code I saw people that where wearing snickers, I know is Vegas but as a brand I believe you should establish the rules of fine dining....

A sublime fine dining experience that accommodated all of our food restrictions. Many thanks to the kitchen and waitstaff who exceeded expectations and provided a wonderful 80th birthday celebration for my mother. Hats off to Chef, who was able to accommodate vegan and low FODMAP diet restrictions. We had tasting menus adjusted to each of our preferences paired with outstanding old and new world wine selections. Tip - save room for the bread and hand-churned butter from Normandy.

Another fine anniversary dinner at Twist. Our second time here, and I asked for a table by the window and we were seated at the same awesome table as our last visit! Nice touch, and as the manager said jokingly, “we have a file”!

As expected the food we excellent. We did not do the tasting menu, but struggled to finish all the fine food. The extras they bring are very good and the service is simply impeccable !! The anniversary surprise was also thoughtful and appreciated!

The decor is also cool at the top of the Mandarin Oriental.

Go into this expecting to pay quite a bit especially if you get a fine bottle of wine, but you won’t be disappointed in the food or service, it is simply outstanding!

Well done staff at Twist, you all rock !!

I visit Twist every time I visit Vegas, subject to reservation availability. This is one of my top 5 restaurants of all time. The Chef add-ins are fabulous, the presentation is picture perfect, the staff moves in step and knows the art of fine dining. I have never been anything but amazed at the experiences.

My friend, a world traveler, has partaken of Chef Pierre Gagnaire's cuisine in many parts of the world. He recommended I should try it. Since I happened to be staying in Las Vegas for a few days I found the time to visit the Twist for a marvelous meal. Every course was a treat and sometimes a surprise. Our server, Sunday, was especially responsive and helpful when we had questions.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a six course tasting menu with wine pairings and a vegan tasting menu. Every dish was excellent, and the pairings were as well. The dishes were inventive, tasteful and well-presented....a tour de force for the palate. When desserts arrived we found the table swathed in tasty options, much like the parting volley at a fireworks display.

Hats off to the chef. Service was also top notch: amiable, accommodating and highly attentive. We would gladly forego a Vegas show any evening for a rerun of this meal.

The view was nice too.

Absolutely brilliant in every way. We enjoyed the Fall tasting menu, which was creative and incredible; accompanied by wines from the 'new world' which enhanced every flavor.
I've had the pleasure of dining at many fine restaurants around the world, this falls into top twenty worldwide --- only thing I cant fathom is why this location isn't at least a 2-star Michelin rating.

Sunday was the BEST server! He definitely made our meal fun! The chef's "tasting treats' during the meal were a nice surprise. The restaurant is beautiful! The servers were all very attentive and friendly! Sadly, the main courses were our least favorite dishes. We ordered ala' carte; Pierre Salad was super tasty and fresh along with seasonal cheeses that were delicious. Scallops and Lobster dishes fell a little short on flavor. The scallop dish is actually only 2 scallops cut into halves. The accomponiments to the Lobster entree were delicious. Deserts were all over the board with the apple tart and chocolate "mousse like dessert" being our favorites.

At the recommendation of friends who had been to Twist a month earlier we included it in our trip to Vegas this week. We were not disappointed. Starting with the "goodies" from the chef our dining experience was superb.

My wife was still full from lunch and she had no salad or appetizer, but my foie gras was over the top great. It was served as a cold pate and as a warm traditional serving. There was even a third preparation that I did not fully understand but it came on a small brioche bun and was equally as good.

My main course was the duck and hers was the Dover sole. Both were different preparations than we had had before but both were excellent. I would recommend them both.

The view of the lights of the Vegas was very good. We also cannot say enough good things about the service, which was there when we needed it and in the background when we didn't. They took a real team approach.

Would return in a heartbeat.

We were very excited to dine at a Pierre Gagnaire restaurant in Las Vegas as we had truly enjoyed his restaurant in Paris. We asked about the premier Lucky Number 7 menu because the courses were not described. Our server could not answer this question and, when he found out I had an allergy to pistachios, he advised us that the chef would not accommodate someone with a food allergy for this particular tasting. Fine, we chose the Grand Tasting, which was described, and the chef surprisingly could accommodate my allergy. While waiting for the first course, we immediately noticed the strange variety of music in the dining room. We went from the Rolling Stones to Phantom of the Opera to Pink Floyd. Keep in mind this is a fine dining Michelin restaurant where you expect to have elegant background music, not rock and roll. When you bounce from one genre to a completely other genre, it becomes extremely distracting. When the manager came to see how our evening was going, we mentioned the music. He was so happy to hear we ALSO had a problem with it. He told us the chef de cuisine insisted on using music from his personal playlist as this is what HE liked to listen to. The manager said he would advise the chef of our comments but also asked that we complain about the music online because his opinion had fallen on deaf ears. When the chef heard of our comments about the music, we were suddenly elevated to the Premeir Tasting (without asking us first if we wanted to change) and the chef could now accommodate my allergy. I had not wanted this selection for 2 reasons 1) chef would not accommodate my allergy and 2) he would not tell us what was on the menu. I thought it was a nice gesture to mitigate our complaints, however, one course was a very chewy overcooked scallop. I did not complain since we were getting the Premier Tasting for the price of the Grand tasting. Unfortunately, when the bill came, he charged the full price of the Preview Tasting which was $1000 more!

We have had the pleasure of dining at many amazing restaurants including Joel Robuchon and many greats in Paris France so we expected this to be another wonderful meal! When possible we do the tasting menu as this typically gives you bites of the best they offer. We were really disappointed with the 6 course meal, other than the wine nothing was memorable. When the pallet cleanser and bread and butter are the best thing you have all night there is a problem. Foie gras under no circumstances should be puréed into a hot parfait, first course a miss. Amazing oysters but when cooked take away the delightful and freshness of the ocean you would expect, second course a miss. Green spinach veloute delicious, third course spot on. Sea bass served with soft mushy skin....not so great, fourth course a miss. Venison okay, game pie a complete miss for us. Tamarind ice cream side very good. A few of the desserts were good but nothing extraordinary. When spending over 700 for a meal you have a certain expectation of flavor and memorable bites. Did not deliver. All in all nothing whimsical or over the top amazing. Go to Joel Robuchon if looking for that experience.
We were impressed with the view, service
( Juan), wine and meeting the chef but will most definitely not be returning. We felt bad watching other people who perhaps had never eaten food like that and probably thought that if it cost that much it must be good but that is just not always true! One lady started dry heaving trying to eat the parfait! I felt so bad! She pushed it away. When people leave mid meal, there is a problem. It's a bit embarrassing.

Expectations were set high, This was the one meal we were looking forward to add of an entire 60 stay in Vegas. Every experience we’ve had dining with Mandarin Oriental‘s has always been treasured. The entry and dining atmosphere was magnificent we were seated immediately our view was wonderful, the server was very very attentive and very accommodating as far as starting the wine pairing and making an immediate substitution. Our first appetizer on the tasting menu came out one of us tried it, it smelled as fishy as it tasted, the other one couldn’t put it in the mouth. Our second appetizer came Out beautifully prepared , my girlfriend gad I thought it was edible full of textures what it was I still can’t determine. Next came the oysters (I’m from Florida and my friend is from New Orleans and we love oysters prepared in any fashion at all we eat them regularly on the half shell), we each had one which was wonderful the second one was so fishy we could Both barely swallow it, we asked if there was a different preparation done to the second oyster & we were told no.We were very deflated at the time our third course came out it was fish that we couldn’t even bite into it,the aroma what is putrid. At that point we asked to end the experience, They were very accommodating and understanding, they took off all the food very obligingly however for three 3 ounce pours of wine each the bill was still $300 it was a hideous experience that no one should have I’ve never been so disappointed dining out as I was this time. My overall experience Would advise anyone to avoid this particular venuethe

My sister and I went to Las Vegas for my 50th birthday and had my big bday dinner at twist. We have both travelled extensively and have had many wonderful fine dining experiences at 5-star restaurants. This was better than all of them. Truly the best meal and the best wine and the best service we have ever experienced. We started with caviar, then shared the wagyu beef, then shared the scallops. We savored every bite.

This restaurant was an easy answer while staying at the hotel, but is worth a visit regardless.

Starting with cocktails, the Twisted Negroni was beyond expectations and something I will be back for. The amuse did it’s job with pops of flavor, promising something for every palate. We shared a salad, which was well....a salad, a decent one but relatively predictable. The Dover Sole entree however was memorable and an easy win-simultaneously rich and refined with lots of texture, salt and acid to balance the lightly fried fish. It tasted like I was getting away with something naughty under the guise of a seafood fine dining entree.

Good service always elevates a meal and the Twist staff were both available and unobtrusive, making our experience even more enjoyable.

This is a remarkable restaurant. The staff and service is absolutely top notch. They went above and beyond to make sure it was a truly memorably dining experience. The food is also creative, delicious, and complex. The mixture of textures and temperatures was something you simply will not find in may restaurants. We were also fortunate enough to be given a tour of the kitchen and meet the chef. Would recommend to anyone looking for a very special meal. Located in the best hotel in Vegas, Twist is really culinary magic. The price tag is steep, but the quality and attention to detail is unmatched. Also, the view is second to none.
