Twin Oaks Country Inn
First time there and it was fantastic, our waitress was the best and the food was great.
This was my first time there and I have to say it was probably the best fish I've had outside of my time in Hawaii. The red snapper was absolutely delicious! We also had a few apps that were great. Overall I was happy with everything!
The food and service was outstanding. The Quail with duck sausage stuffing fantastic, the best I have eaten in a long time. Thought I had no room for desert but could not resist Bread Pudding something I haven't had in many years and that too was so delicious.
We have told several friends of our experience at Twin Oaks Country Inn and suggested they should go there for dinner. JUST AWESOME!!
Wonderful meal from warm bread to soup to mains, to desert. Great service. Couldn't have expected more. Love this place.
I enjoyed our dinner very much. My food was delicious
My friend however asked twice for his soup and never received it.
The Brescola appetizer was terrible though.
When I called to reserve a bottle of prosseco for our table I was told it was $40 but when the bill came it was $52. That I don't understand.
I would still come back and ear because your food, except for the appetizer is delicious.
One of the best fine dining restaurants in the southern WI / northern IL area. Always great food and service.
We celebrated our 50th wedding Anniversary there. Wilmot has been a big part of our lives. We met when we both taught at Wilmot High and we know the history of the building you are in. We will end up in the Holy Name Cemetary when our time comes. Thanks for helping us celebrate!
Twin Oaks has been one of my favorite restaurants for years - and once again it lived up to all my high expectations. Delicious food with creative menu options. The leek soup of the day is awesome. (one of my guests ordered a second bowl). The wait staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. You will love this restaurant.
Great food, great service. Ribeye, shrimp, cheesy potatoes, wine, beef Wellington ALL delicious. A bit on the expensive side but worth it.
We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Food is always good. Last time I said I would not return due to a minor billing inconvenience for the restaurant. Would not provide 2 checks and the tip added by the restaurant. This time 2 checks were not a problem, but the pre-added tip WAS. I like to add my own tip. The tip should be a voluntary addition. That's the purpose.
Sorry, but you have probably lost a customer this time.
Our visit was less pleasant than we expected. We started out with a Sprite from bar which was largely soda water and little soda flavor. The brie appetizer was virtually tasteless so it went back. The entrees were good but not memorable. The server was polite and helpful but not as attentive as he could have been. This place is out of the way and in a beautiful setting so it is unfortunate the dining experience didn't warrant the extra effort.
Everything was wonderful. We went there for our company Xmas dinner. Great food, great service.
Cathy is excellent. We asked for her every time. She is a world-class professional
Service was slow but the place was busy with parties. Food was excellent as usual. This is our go to place for a Christmas dinner out.
Food is outstanding. Ambiance with the gorgeous Victorian House is very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Steaks are cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes are very creamy. Chocolate Fantasy dessert will send your blood sugar through the roof but well worth it to share. A favorite restaurant for my wife and myself.
Twin Oaks is by far our favorite restaurant! We have had wonderful experiences during our twenty (or so) visits.
This restaurant never disappoints! Since opening we have never had a poor meal.
This restaurant is an old home limited seating, great for couples or small groups in the main dinning area. Warm atmosphere. Great food
Outstanding food and exceptional service! Recommend the Beef Wellington, best in the area.
This restaurant has excellent food with great service. We have never been disappointed with our meals.
Keeps getting better! From start to finish - perfect. Service is always great!
A great find just over the border in Wisconsin. We have been here a couple times and each visit has been excellent.
Really nice quality food ingredients and preparation. Very reasonable cost. Have had several meals there and all were delicious.
Excellent meal. Great experience.
Great dining experience. Food is reasonably priced. Good service. Good selection. Not too noisy and intimate. Clean. Outstanding fresh bread
The quality, flavor and preparation keeps us coming back for more! From the starters - soups and salads to the end - dessert - fantastic! The soup was excellent, blackened salmon and shrimp prepared perfectly, the specials offered were excellent! Appearance of food and presentation match the taste!
The food was outstanding and you won’t be disappointed if you go. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. We went on a Sunday evening and unfortunately the room that we were in was pretty cool. We were seated next to a window which would have beef great if it wasn’t so drafty. The waitress was very professional and courteous, but became pretty scarce after we were served the main dish. Overall very good and I would recommend it.
It was my third time here, and the food never disappoints. The service is always top notch, and the wine selections are prefect with the menu options.
This restaurant is NEVER a disappointment. The food is always excellent as is the service. One of my favorites.
Everything about our meal was great! Food well prepared and flavorful, wine selection excellent, cocktails well made and sever was helpful and did his job well. Five cheers for Twin Oaks!
Always extraordinary & delicious. Great servers and always such a joy to return
Lovely as always!
Fantastic restaurant in a beautiful Victorian home. Food was superior
The food and service was fantastic the food was on time properly prepared and delicious. Kudos to miss Julie for great service
The beef wellington is our favorite but everything on the menu is exceptional. Great service! Love this place.
Very nice dinner with my husband UNTIL the lady at a close table overindulged and her language, demeanor put a real damper on trying to enjoy our dinner night out. Her dinner partner (husband) kept asking her to please leave before it got as bad as "before" but she was having nothing to do with it! Just very uncomfortable and mood killing.
All was great!
Ever been to a restaurant several times maybe years And get the same things cause they taste great?( Beef Wellington, Filet Mignon, Red Snapper, Goat cheese appetizer,) Well we finally tried the homemade Italian sausage ravioli! Oh my gawd that was outstanding! The beef kabob appetizer was mouthwatering and leaves you wanting more !
I called the restaurant the day before to tell them it was my husband’s birthday. The people behind us got a candle in their dessert, but they never did anything for us. There was a party of eight, with three small children that made our experience less than enjoyable. The server never asked how our meal was, and mine was not very good. Never asked if we wanted another glass of wine. For an expensive dinner, the service and ambiance was disappointing.
Couldn't help myself but had to have the Beef Wellington again, it is fantastic. I'm really not a mushroom fan but the portobello in this dish is perfect. This place really has great food and the waitresses are very friendly and hard-working. Will definitely return
