I enjoyed the atmosphere and the waiter was very attentive. The fried walleye was disappointing because it was served as breaded fish nuggets. For the price this should have been Walleye fillets.
Our group of 8 was celebrating a birthday. The ambiance is warm and comfortable; however, the noise level made it difficult for the entire table to converse. We all were very happy with our respective meals (steak, walleye, shrimp, chicken, pasta), and the service was attentive but not intrusive.
Wrong meal was made. Then was terribly late. The rest of my party was finished before i got my meal.
Waiter tried to make up for it. Salmon was over cooked when delivered. Service was very very slow. Took forever to get my bill. I almost walked out without paying because i didn't think I'd get a bill. Noise level was high.
All around, not a good experience.
The staff that we interacted with were unpleasant... They seemed pretty angry. The hostess and bartender especially. If we asked a question, it felt like we were inconvenient nuisances to them! The food is definitely good... Steak came out perfect, so hopefully they improve their customer service to match the food.
We had a very nice, romantic evening. This is a wonderful spot to have a date night. We were able to have a cocktail at the bar prior to sitting down for dinner. Our server explained the specials and was prompt with drinks, appetizer, dinner, and dessert. We will definitely be returning.
Home cooking at it’s best. I had the tenderloin tips and they melted in my mouth.
Tables are a little too close together.
Gluten Free. The restaurant has their own gluten free menu. The waiters know the menu and the specifics of celiac disease and gluten sensitivities.
We drive 20 miles to visit this restaurant in the MOA. We are not fans of driving that far for a meal, or going to the MOA. Knowing you can get great food and actually have more than one gluten free item on the menu, makes it completely worth it.
Nice place to sit and take a break from shopping. My food was like warm, but the restaurant was really busy.
Great place for a Valentine's Day dinner with my wife and daughter. Great ambiance. Incredible service. Great food. We had the steak medallions, and they were perfect. Best steak I've had in a restaurant in quite some time. Service was exceptionally good. Water glass always filled. Waiter making sure food is on point. All very good. Highly recommend.
Drink service was slow. Food and dinner service was good but not fantastic
We went for Valentine's dinner, and it was great. Great food, good service.
Valentine’s Day very busy but nice
Get food and service!! Enjoy!
Valentine’s Day. Nicholas our server was just great. The food was excellent. We eat here and other Lettuce Eats regularly. Tonight did not disappoint. TC Grill never disappoints.
Last few times we’re eaten here have been disappointing for various reasons. I’m not sure why we are unfortunate enough to be put in the back dinning room, but I believe it’s because I have two (well behaved) boys. The back dining room lacks all of the ambience of the main dining room, and due to the room design and countless numbers of children is unbearably loud. If you are lead to the back by your host/ hostess, just turn around and leave. On our last visit we had a server that was extremely slow. My salad came out with cheese, even though I ordered without. When I pointed this out to the server, he seemed to be annoyed with me and unapologetically took it back to the kitchen. After he brought the second attempt at a salad without cheese (IT STILL HAD CHEESE!), he disappeared and we never saw him again til the check was delivered. FYI, avoid this restaurant on any holiday, they take advantage of the date by only offering a dinner menu, and won’t accept gift cards! Simply ridiculous that I had to pay dinner prices because I went out to a weekday lunch on Valentine’s Day, and then not to accept a gift card?!?
The beef in the beef stroganoff was so tender it melted in my mouth. The gravy is less creamy than others, but overall it was excellent.
The atmosphere is nice, cozy, and romantic. It's a nice place.
We had the Valentines Day dinner for 2 special and it was AMAZING! Wonderful service and WOW that banana cream pie was the best ever.
Lunch with a friend. Peppercorn hamburger was not very juicy or tasty, disappointing after the description on the menu. My friend only ordered a salad, she found it acceptable but the 2 bread rolls offered with any lunch meal were truly "white bread" tasteless and dry. TC Grill needs to up their quality of breads. The coffee served there is wonderful and the service is exceptional. We appreciate having calorie counts on the menu. That's a nice touch!
Wait staff was great, burger was red in the middle, asked for no pink, medium well, fries were over powering with vinegar. Wives meatloaf was good.
The food was great. The server was a bit annoying. Don't think he had enough to do because he checked on us constantly. Hard to have a conversation with him interrupting all the time.
We stopped at the mall specifically to come here! Love the ambiance, service and of course food! We had the loaded mac n cheese which was perfect, and the walleye with mashed potatoes which my husband also really enjoyed. We will be back!
Service was great, checking up on us a few times. Very good food!
Twin City Grill is an excellent place to eat. Everything on their menu is excellent.
Service was great. Lots of tasty options on the menu!
We had a delightful, extremely professional, personable waiter (Patrick)--and no, he is/was not an acquaintance of ours. He was just an exceptional waiter. We both ordered a light lunch (a small salad) and coffee because we were saving our calories for dessert! But...we did add a protein to our salad. I added grilled shrimp, which were tasty, but expensive ($11.95 for 4 shrimp!!). Desserts were fantastic. My friend ordered the apple pie with vanilla ice cream; I ordered the banana cream pie --- both were excellent! Because we were there at 1:00pm, the noise level was zero --- quite nice for a late afternoon lunch. I know it gets very noisy at the dinner hour.
All great, thanks!
All of us had the walleye fish fry. It was excellent. The fish was so fresh and not overly breaded.
Too much breading on the walleye for my taste.
We didn’t think our food was extra special. Did however like the fact u had gluten free options
The perfect place for me to celebrate my birthday with my best friend.
Always good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Our “go to” place at the mall.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!
Service was great, menu had great options to choose from, food was out quick, meal was delicious, and free refills on our lemonade was a plus! We will definitely come back to try something else on the menu!
Food average but nothing great. On the expensive side for what you receive. Would like to see more healthy options like broiled or pan fried fish fries. Too much in the line of mashed potatoes. What about sweet potatoes?? What about a turkey burger or bison or plant based. Forget the fries and offer salad. White bread was served which is not good for you. What about whole wheat ?? Just some suggestions as that is what the public is looking for.
Great personable service and good comfort food. The chicken corn chowder is a definite must. Always enjoyable.
Great venue for a business meeting. The staff is excellent as is the food and beverages.
All was good. Waiter was excellent. Salmon was overcooked. Had the consistency of chicken. Kids meal was nice portioned.
Great food. Exceptional service. Wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back.
Not great. My salad was completely disgusting. Who uses (hard) pasta noodles on a chopped salad? It was bizarre. My son's burger looked wonderful though.
We have eaten at the Twin City Grill at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. and we always have a great experience. This time was no different. We will be going back again.
