Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar - Wandermere
Got seated very close to reservation time. Waited for a time for server to take our order. She took our drink & food order at same time. We waited for some time for our drinks to arrive. Then after another wait our dinner arrived. Salad came at the same time, would have preferred it before meal. Husband got wrong salad. Both main courses were overcooked. Mine was so bad Manager removed it from our bill.
So disappointed as this is one of our favorite places. Will go back, hoping it was just a bad night, have never had this type of experience before at Twigs.
A great evening was had by all five of us.
I have two daughters who don’t eat meat.(one of them doesn’t eat fish either).
We all found a meal we really enjoyed.
Very delicious and welcoming atmosphere.
Our waitress was very attentive and nice.
Food was good and wait staff was very nice and friendly. Great service on Christmas Eve.
Table was ready for our party as well as the staff. Service was outstanding and the food was terrific. Great choices on the menu and a gluten-free menu was available for one in our party. After the meal we were left to visit awhile and never felt hurried to leave. Enjoyable time was had by all.... Thanks!
We were seated about 5 minutes before t
Daughter home from college
Twigs is a great place to go for dining or just a quick drink.
We went to Twigs because I was really one in calamari and they had it on their menu. I wouldn’t really say it was calamari it was actually about 10 pieces of calamari and a plate full of onions and lettuce and two slices of artichokes we were very disappointed. I also made a reservation we arrived five minutes early and the first lady said to me someone will be with us in just a minute i told her our reservation name then she disappeared, three people came back to the hostess desk and asked if we’d been helped I said I wasn’t really sure because I wasn’t sure the last lady went and 10 minutes later we discovered nobody was actually helping us once that got cleared up we finally got a table. The Kalaha tacos were just ok, But like I said we were actually going to this restaurant for calamari. The atmosphere was nice and I really like the big windows and the view was beautiful.
I ordered the new halibut mango entree. Excellent flavor, but the fish was very dry - not ok for a $32 dish. My husband ordered the halibut fish tacos. Far less costly, but same problem - dry. We also shared the roasted curry cauliflower. We love curry and we love cauliflower, but this dish was extremely vinegary. Disappointing. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. However, our food ( for six people) took a very long time to arrive, which was surprising since the restaurant was largely empty when we arrived on Sunday around noon.
When I said my name for the reservation they seemed angry because it was so busy when they knew ahead of time the event that night (Mead Homecoming)
Service was excellent. Food was warm and delicious.
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday! It was wonderful! Service was spectacular, one of the reasons this is our go to place for celebrations!
We celebrated my mom's birthday out on the patio, it was lovely, not too noisy, service was good and food was great!
It was good
My family and I have been going to Twiggs for a long as I can remember. We always enjoyed going there because we got to know the wait staff and even the manger, Shauna. One day we went and noticed that Shauna was gone and when we asked were told that she "wasn't there anymore." I don't know if this was her decision or not but she is truly missed. We did go again a couple of times and the restaurant seemed so disorganized. We had to flag someone down for another drink or re fills on the girls beverages. It had always been a very friendly atmosphere and not it seems that everyone is just running back and forth. I assume the job of the manager is to make sure things run smoothly and that isn't happening. She was just standing against a wall with her arms folded. Shauna use to help out and go around and make sure everyone was being taken care of. Just not the same. We will probably go to the downtown Twiggs.
Moved from Spokane 2 years ago. This was one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food has gone downhill quite a bit. Would not go back.
Table in the shade on patio. Nice setting with water feature. Food prepared as requested and server very pleasant.
Good food but menu needs more changing. Beautiful patio dining in the summer!
Consistently great food.
Consistently great service.
We had a lovely dinner outside, fantastic ambiance, service and food
I have been going to Twiggs for years and it’s one of my favorite resuarants. This time however was my worst experience yet. Our server was very inattentive, we waited 50 minutes for our food to come out after it was order. When the food came out it was nearly cold. When it came time to receive our check she just cleaned tables, we waited another 10 minutes or so. Twiggs is a wonderful restaurant, we just had a very bad experience.
Brunch was not good. Took 45 minutes for food to arrive. Food was cold, poached eggs were hard boiled. Out sever was great, but food was not edible. My Bloody Mary was great though. She comped our food. Would go back for lunch that was good in the past.
The setting, ambiance, service, and food were absolutely wonderful, which compensated for the somewhat high noise level. It’s totally understandable why Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar is so popular.
We were very disappointed in the food, especially for the price. The Prime rib sandwich was more like chip beef. The Peanut butter moose was not good, didn't really taste like a moose, and the cheese cake was horrid...over cooked at one end and not cooked at the other.
While we LOVE eating outside on your wonderful patio we will not be back.
The food was amazing beautiful scenery and good drinks prices a little high but well worth it.
Love Twigs go there often. Also enjoy the downtown location. Our service was great and food fabulous. however, one member ordered the invisible peach with lavender ice cream for $8.00. Good but a bit overpriced
I wouldn't recommend Twigs breakfast buffet. Wasn't worth the cost for what you got. Not much variety.
Normally their food is always good but their prime rib was tough and flavorless.
Service was good.
I went there for my prom dinner and it was absolutely wonderful. I went with a group of six people and they got us to our table almost right away and the waiter was amazing. I wish I could give a name but he was so good to us that I left him a $20 tip. Thank you for making another part of my prom memorable and great!
Easter Buffet was wonderful! Sat outside on the patio - enjoying the waterfall & beautiful weather ... Really miss the days when people actually dressed up appropriately to go out to eat at a nice restaurant. Disappointing to see people there in cargo shorts, wrinkled t-shirts and trucker hats. There should be higher standards. Women should expect more from their men and men should take some pride in their appearance.
Awesome waiter attentive and very accomodatting with the menu.
In spite of Twigs being packed with people and 3 private parties, we received our food quite quickly. Our server was attentive and very personable. Delicious food!
The food, atmosphere and quick service were amazing! It was my husband’s birthday and our waitress made it even more extra special! We will be back!
Twigs restaurant is a place we love coming to. The food and service are always excellent!!!
Excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service. Overall very happy with our dining experience. A little pricey for me but for a special occasion it was good.
The fries were cold and the clam chowder was lukewarm, the rest of the meal was delicious. They have a very good gluten free menu.
We had a great Valentine's day experience! Our server, Lacey was great and very attentive. I had to send my order back and they prepared me a new one with out any fuss.
Food was mediocre, at best. Right ideas - poor execution. It was cold, loud, and dark. Didn't make for a very nice Valentines date night. Ordered apps, entrees, and deserts. Apps had so much raw garlic, it was uneatable. Steak was ok, but blue cheese sauce was overwhelming (like eating a brick of blue cheese). Chicken was dry. Veggies were out of season and not ripe. Espresso cake had no espresso flavor and was very dry (almost stale). Nearly $100, with tip. Not worth $25. First time to visit Twigs, and last time.
Came in for our reservation, Staff was nice. We were then walked to the back of the building "behind the bar" in a small back corner table directly next to the loud kitchen. The corner was not lined up with any windows an 3 light bulbs in the area were out. So i brought my valentines date to a "Nice" place to eat and instead ended up eating in a dark loud closet. had to squint to see the menu's. food was good. Not a good place to take a date. Couldn't hear or see her, paid the same amount as the people with window views and lights. Not going back,
Excellent! Food was delicious and our service was fantastic. Upper scale dining without feeling “stuffy”. Will be back soon!
Great food, people and atmosphere. It's our "go to" place whether a special occasion or just to get away and unwind.
