Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar - Spokane Valley Mall
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday: 4:00PM - 10:00PM
Friday - Saturday: 4:00PM - 11:00PM
This is a favorite restaurant of mine. However, I requested a booth for a business dinner but was given a half booth. It should not have been a problem for the restaurant to hold one of the full booths for our party of four and give the half booth to a party without reservations or requests. Within minutes of our arrival, a party of two were given a full booth. The half booth was not convenient for our discussion. Advanced business reservations and requests should be treated with some priority, especially over drop in guests without reservations.
The food was excellent. Our server walked by our table several times without checking on our drinks
before our meal arrived. It took over a half hour from the time we ordered until the time we received
our dinner. The Asst. Manager did comp our desert. We were seated in an area where there was a lot of
Wonderful waitstaff, great menu
Thank you great food and service
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Very good food and service, a nice variety of selections.
We had dinner here with two friends to celebrate their second wedding anniversary, and th catch up.
we had 4 great meals. some tasty adult beverages, all served by Aaron who did an outstanding job.
this is not our first time here and won't be our last.
don't forget to get your reservations through open table beaus we are not the only ones who have such warm feelings for this place
Everyone enjoyed their entrees and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Good food and excellent service. Great for an after drive meal. Just off I-90. Good draft be selection. Will go back.
We've been to this Twigs 3 or 4 times. That's clearly not enough! We really enjoy the food..I had the Oriental Chicken Salad - fabulous..my husband had the filet. It was like butter. And-he hates most vegetables, but he loved the parsnip puree. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back!
Food and drink really hit the spot and the server was witty and on point. Very good time my special gal and I had!!
Pork Oso Buco was extremely dry with little flavor. My dinner companion ordered their steak speciality in which he said was OK but not great.
The food was great and our Server was very nice. The kitchen was beyond slow. Our business lunch took an hour longer than it should have and they were only 35-45% full. No excuse for food to come out as slow as it did.
Not very impressed with the menu. Not everyone likes the type of cuisine that is served at Twigs. When I asked our server to leave out certain items in my salad (which was the only thing that really looked remotely like something I would eat there) she looked at me as if I was asking her to walk 5 miles in hot sand. Also, we had to wait wait wait wait for our lunch after ordering...with an almost 2 year old active little boy...it's a lifetime. Please take people with small children into consideration...especially when reservations have been made.
A treat and close to home. Good food choices & good prices:)
Elizabeth was our waitress, and she was excellent. She had wonderful manners and great conversation. We enjoyed her.
We had a nice meal at this Twigs. My guest enjoyed the caesar salad while I had the bet salad, which I highly recommend. My guest then had the seared ahi tuna app as her entree while I had the ahi tuna appetizer but a double portion. She felt the seared tuna was perfectly done. I enjoyed my tuna but needed something more, like maybe some wasabi, to punch it up.
We had reservations in advance which helped during the Happy Hour. The service was great! The food was excellent and we could actually accomplish our business as the noise level was moderate. Well worth trying. Highly recommend
My client & I meet at Twigs in the Valley for lunch on a regular basis and both enjoy it each time. A great menu & good service, but also the right environment to discuss business. We’ll be back in a couple months for another lunch on the sunny patio.
Table ready when we arrived for our reservation, service and food delicious, as usual!
I did not eat your "dirty rice" because the name of it grossed me out because all I could think of was that the rice was dirty, or had dirt in it. Please rename the "dirty rice" to something else. The "Ahi Tuna" was soooooo spicy and hot; Twigs could have stated that on the menu, maybe with ** (stars) on the menu rating the spicy/hotness of the dish. The noise factor in Twigs in Spokane Valley was soooo loud, I could not even have a normal conversation across the table. I will not be eating there again. Also, slim pickin's on the menu for people who vegetarian, like my guest who was with me.
Great meal and service as always. Best Cesar salad in town!
Mother's day out with my wife and two daughters. Food was good. Server either tired or just didn't care. Got home and received a message that we had not taken advantage of your reservation and could have been charged for it. What the hack is that...I have the bill and the leftovers here. I am pretty sure these folks are in over theirs heads.
Second time we have had the same server... not the friendliest.
Recommend the bar. Staff there are a lot friendlier.
My coffee was Luke warm and had to ask for a hot cup.
The steak in my salad was not as tender as many prior times.
The tai soup was great.
The music was so loud we had a hard time conversing. The coulotte steak was ok, but I had requested medium, and it was med rare. I had it recently at the Twigs South Hill location where it was outstanding, so I was disappointed. The server (Mikayla) was excellent and attentive. It was a busy night, but the wait time for our food was very reasonable.
Very disappointed that they have changed their menu and eliminated the half-salad options. Waitstaff were not attentive, overly made-up (what's with the goth look?) or under-dressed with midriff showing under edge of shirt - not appealing when dining. Twigs is usually the go-to place for lunch in the Valley, but I'm reconsidering!!
Restaurant week was great
Twig's is a wonderful experience every time we go. We started with four appetizers and shared them all between us. It was a great way to taste several different types of food. From calamari, to Moroccan beef, to a delightful crab and artichoke dip and finished with sesame seed seared ahi.
Recommend to reserve your seat on weekends. Very busy place.
Great place to double date with good friends. Was able to make requests/eliminations/substitutions with drinks and order for diet restrictions and everything tasted great!
Food is consistently good, drinks expensive but good.
At the risk of sounding crazy, I have to admit that my date and I went to this restaurant two days in a row. And both days we ordered the exact same thing off the menu. We didn’t intend to but it was so fun and delicious the first time around. The service was so good the ambience was nice and the food was out of this world. So the next night when we were looking for a place to go… We just couldn’t stop ourselves from going back and reliving the night all over again and it was just as amazing the second time around.
At several points during our meal, the exterior door(s) were open - both to the outside and to the inside dining and bar areas. It may have been windy outside - am not sure on that. But the incoming draft of cold air caused discomfort for members of our party who were wearing long sleeved shirts and sweaters.
We always enjoy coming to Twigs. The food and atmosphere are great!
Always good food and drink. Wait staff was unusually slow to take our food order, then followed up on how the food was before anyone took a bite. It seemed hee was a little unaware of where we were at in the dining process most of the time. It wasn't bad service by any means just a little slower than expected and used to.
Have the steak salad and a coke . . it was great!!!!!!!!!
Love the food ! I had taken my daughter who has been living off university food and the menu was perfect ! Osso Buco was her favorite from home and it hit the spot for her ! When your family is happy - your happy!
Server was mediocre, very noisy couldnt carry on a coversation, seasonal vegies were under cooked,(I expect some crunch but was pretty much raw warmed up), cod was dripping with grease.
We have been here before but won't be returning. Very disappointed. Nothing worse than dropping $60 and leaving a restaurant hungry.
I was disappointed this time with Twigs, I have eaten there many times but this time I was not so happy. We arrived and they seated us at the table by the door, and check in station, we did ask to move but had to wait for a table to open up. It was very noisy in the restaurant also. My sons French fries we soggy, and my husband wasn't thrilled with the mahi mahi. My dish was
very good. I will go again but never on a Friday night.
Had out of town guests who e hadn't seen in a while and service and food were excellent! Clap! clap!
Overall, enjoyed our meal and the ambience of Twigs. Our server was not very polite or attentive. Called out to her several times. Gave her a couple of loud "yoo-hoos" and she just walked on by from your kitchen exit (which we were seated in front of), to the left of just one booth with a couple dining and right to the middle server station with her back to us. Totally clueless just standing there doing nothing. Was she wearing ear plugs? We needed utensils to eat our meal...we just had to wait until she made her way back to the kitchen and she finally gave us the opportunity to ask for knife and fork. She got her review with our tip, separately:(
In spite of that would recommend to others. Oh yes, young man at hostess station did not check us in thru Open Table acknowledging we had honored our reservation though we stated that is how we made our reservation. No big deal, but another sign of lack of attention by another server.
