Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar, located on the south hill, opened in the spring of 2006. It quickly became a south hill destination and a friendly neighborhood dining spot. Upon arrival guests are greeted by our friendly staff eager to make all dining occasions memorable. Our south hill location has an inviting bar which features comfortable seating, a fiber optic bar top and a double sided fireplace. Our exhibition kitchen boasts our professional culinary team accompanied by a gas fired brick pizza. The second floor consists of two banquet rooms connected by a catwalk that overlooks the restaurant and bar below. Our heated patio features a full view of a man made pond with elaborate water fountains. We serve daily lunch, dinner, happy hour, late night dining, full service catering, and have banquet space that can accommodate parties of up to 100 guests.

Great lunch to celebrate a good friend who is also a neighbor’s birthday. We did not feel rushed and enjoy the time we could spend together. The food was fantastic!

my wife found a pice of PLASTIC inside the humus when she ate it.... NO COMMENT
never gonna go back to this restaurant

and the service is sooo bad I was there for 2 hours and no one came and asked me or my wife if I wanted more water

Resurant week. My salad which was crab and shrimp was excellent. Salmon was over cooked and dry. Everyone else loved their dinner.

Came for Restaurant week. Had the Asparagus salad, salmon & creme brulee. First two were great. Salted caramel brulee was way too sweet. Thought the presentation in a canning jar was creative & attractive. Ordered Long Island Ice Teas that weren't very good. Bartender did not get the formula right.

Good did not taste fresh. Have had the same food at Twigs downtown and was much better. Calamari was dry and over cooked. Service was slow even though the restaurant was NOT busy. Will definitely return to Twigs/ Riverfront, not likely to return to S Hill location.☹️

They had a special on oysters.. but for $18 they gave us 6.. teeny tiny oysters...barely a taste. We were also celebrating a birthday.. AND Valentine's day..and tried to join the loyalty club in order to get a free birthday dessert.. we were told we couldn't join the day of. Our waitress even asked the manager who said no. I had to ask to speak to the manager myself..who then finally agreed to give us the slice of cheesecake for free.. I spent over $100 .. why was it so hard to allow us to join the loyalty club that day?! Overall not a very good experience.. I will not be going back.

Best food since moving here from CA. Seafood was excellent, fresh, seasoned beautifully, and tons of crab in my Crab fettuccini. Will be back for sure. Waitress could have been more attentive and better attitude. Love, love, love this place, cant wait to go back.

The Osso Buco was delicious. We ordered extra dirty martinis with Blue cheese stuffed olives. But the olives tasted funny and the martini wasn't cold enough. Usually their drinks are very good

We met friends for dinner at Twigs South Hill. The service was very good as was the food. Parking is a problem but we were early enough to find parking in the rear parking lot.

Fantastic service on Easter. Our waitress was very, very attentive and took excellent care of us! Fresh sheet salmon & prawn linguini was great! Got to drink my beloved blood orange martini - will always come back to Twigs for this signature drink!!

I rarely ever write reviews, however Twigs is one of my favorite restaurants, however, there is a issue with customer service thst needs to be addressed. The food was excellent and absolutely superb. Some of the best food in Spokane at a reasonable price. Two times in a row the food has not dissapointed. Service however was lacking. I don't believe our sever had introunced himself, nor were we checked up upon but once, besides to order dinner, drinks and desserts.
My date had ordered tea, and about midway through the meal needed a refill of hot water. Our server had asked if she needed more, which she accepted and he left with the kettle. Around thirty minutes later (estimated), after the meal was finished and ordering dessert her refill was brought. A long wait for hot water. But atleast she got to have a drink for dessert. Service had the feeling of us being last priority and not a worthy customer. I could understand the slow, and delayed service provided a busy and filled restaurant, but there was very few people in the restaurant. Everything else was excellent. The ambiance, other workers, food came fast (drinks not so much), and overall restaurant was splendid and I would consider coming back, provided a increase in customer service. I very much enjoy and recommend Twigs to many people, but I will think twice before going back to this Twis location.

My complaints with the experience are that it took almost 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge we were there & bring water after we were seated. It wasn't busy. Then, she only checked on us once. I wanted to order something else, but by the time she came back, it was too late.

We ended up not going to Twigs for Christmas Eve. While we were at Mass before dinner, someone from Twigs left us a message telling us that they just had noticed our reservation for 7:45, but they were actually doing their last seating at 6 p.m. However, I had made the reservation almost a month ahead of time. I called the manager, and he told me that "it wasn't their fault." He blamed it on Open Table and stated that there were three other reservations they hadn't noticed until just then. He never offered me anything to make up for the fact that my family had nowhere to eat on Christmas Eve since everything was either closed or full. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received. I've even called the corporate office about it but still haven't heard back from them. Since I had to fill out all of the categories above, I still rated them very high for their food and atmosphere because we eat there quite often; however I'm not sure we will go to the South Hill Twigs anymore after the way we were treated on Christmas Eve.

Angie was amazing. We received a call asking if we could arrive earlier than our scheduled reservation and she was very kind and even gave us complimentary hors d ouvres.The food was amazing and look forward to our next visit to Twigs.

When my party arrived at Twigs for our 630 dinner reservation, I was told by the hostess that they had no record of the reservation. I explained that I had the electronic confirmation from Open Table PLUS I had called earlier in the day and spoke to someone and verbally confirmed reservation and changed the party to eight people (from seven). She then said she would "talk to the manager". She returned to us after about 10 minutes and said they would try to seat us as soon as possible. Apparently they had given our reservation to another party. We had to wait approximately 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, Twigs offered to comp us some appetizers for our wait. It took over 20 minutes to receive two plates of FRENCH FRIES! When we FINALLY got our entrees, one of the people in my party did not receive his (I'm not sure if it was the waiter or the kitchen's fault). He did not receive his meal until some in our party were almost through with theirs. The restaurant was busy, the waitstaff was harried, and I felt like we were treated very poorly. It was truly an unfortunate way to spend my son's birthday dinner.

I realize that it was a busy Friday night, but our family brought our daughter here for her 21st birthday. Our server gave us menus and water and then didn't show up again for 20 minutes. We had to flag her down to ask to order appetizers and then it still took another 10 minutes before she came back to take our food order. There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different and all agreed that the food was mediocre. Throughout the meal we had to spend time tracking our server down for more water and drinks, and even to pay our bill so we could leave. We have eaten here before and this was definitely not the same experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant to friends or business associates.

The food was pretty tasty. The service was slow. It might be due to there were maybe two servers there but I am not sure. I hope that was an exception and not the norm. Overall, it is a great place to eat at.

Great food selection at Mothers Day brunch and worth the price. Only complaint with the food was a hair found in one of the dishes. Unfortunately these things happen in a buffet.

Service was extremely lacking though. Our server seemed like he did not want to be there. We had to ask repeatedly for beverage refills and our plates between buffet trips stacked up on the table. Would have been more understanding if the restaurant was full but it was not. Did not see any support staff to assist servers with clearing and refilling beverages. Server did not tell us about the made to order omelettes and eggs Benedict that were included with the brunch. We found out about this option later as we overheard him inform the table next to us. On the upside the lady carving and serving meats was a total joy and completely made my day! All in all we will go back to Twigs for special occasion brunches but will be sure to not be seated in the same servers section.

We chose Twigs for our New Year's Eve dinner because one person in our party has celiac disease and needs a gluten free menu. As far as gluten free food goes, I would have to say that Twig's has it down -- at least from a taste standpoint. I didn't quiz them about their gluten free cooking practices, so I can't really comment on that. All of the food was fantastic, but we were less than impressed with the service and the ambiance. The waiter's attention was, in a word, lackluster. And I was really dismayed to find that there were large screen TVs surrounding our dining area. I hate sports bars and was not expecting this from a fine dining establishment. I think that had we known this ahead of time, we probably could have requested a table in one of the areas without the TVs; so be warned, if you are wanting some nice ambiance and not a sports bar atmosphere, let them know when you make your reservation. Otherwise, you will be surrounded by football, or whatever the sport of the season is.

Reservations were made on-line for Mothers' Day through Open Table. Nowhere on that site did it mention that Twigs was doing a fixed price brunch. Our reservation was made for 1:15 PM. When we arrived, Twigs staff informed us of the brunch. So far so good. However, brunch was scheduled to end at 1:30 PM, so most of the salad trays and several of the hot offerings were depleted to almost nothing. Our mother wanted to leave. Upon inquiring, to Twigs credit, more food was brought out and the brunch offerings were very good. Several fresh salads were served. There was a great cold prawn plate and hot offerings of french toast, eggs, and meats. The dessert assortment was good, with a chocolate fountain. Mom enjoyed herself and that was what counts! By the way, my wife and I enjoyed ourselves, too.

From the moment our party arrived the service was poor. Upon our arrival I stood at the host desk for 5 minutes staring directly at the hostess before she even ackowlwdged our presence. When she finally spoke to us I informed her of our reservation and she indicated it would only be a few minutes. 20 minutes later, we were finally seated, which would have been fine but for the fact I was looking at several empty and bussed tables in the dining room. I was not alone in the waiting area either as several parties had reservations and had been waiting for a prolonged period of time. Once seated, service did not improve, through no fault of our server, (It's bacause of their individual effort that the service rating above was given a "Fair' rating.) The section we were seated in was severely understaffed. Our server had 12 tables and nobody to support their area for beverages or even water. Management should have been aware of the elevated business that was to be expected for Mothers Day brunch and staffed accordingly, but apparently they feel their restaurant is of such a high quality and so very desirable that they can short staff the facility on one of the busiest days of the year and nobody would notice or complain. Maybe they should look to Denny's for tips on how to provide better service, at least there the servers only have 4 - 6 tables.
I would not recommend this reatuarant on special occasions.
