Housed in Wequassett Resort's Eben Ryder House, an 18th-century sea captain’s home, twenty-eight Atlantic is one of the most stunning settings to dine in New England. We went to this restaurant last year and it was quite good. We returned again this year and didnt have the same experience. I had the scallops for the first course. It was barely warm and just didn’t taste very good. I had the poached lobster for the main dish and it tasted of ammonia indicating something was wrong with it. The dessert was underwhelming. The final bill was eye popping and the final insult was the 20% mandatory resort gratuity on every check regardless of the level of service received. We won’t return again.

Our annual anniversary destination and NEVER disappointed. If you want to treat your wife like a Queen take her here. The food is original and scrumptious. The service is always superb and professional. The dining room is elegant with a seaside resort smart casual feel. My compliments again to the Chef and entire staff of 28 Atlantic. See you next year!

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary at 28 Atlantic & we couldn’t have been more pleased. The bay view was spectacular. We chose the three course option & the food was superb. The super staff & servers made us feel truly special. My husband & I highly recommend 28 Atlantic for special occasions or just because.

Cannot say enough good things. We had the three course prix fixe meal with a party of five, with one diner a vegan and another diner gluten-free. They had wonderful creative options available for all of us, even if not listed on the menu and including all the little tidbits they brought out before appetizers, between courses, and after the last course in addition to dessert. The presentation of the dishes was fantastic as well. Definitely fine dining in an elegant setting with a team that tries to accommodate all diets.

We had been a week earlier and everything was great. Our waitress was Alexandra and she was superlative. Last night was average, definitely not what was expected from a well known 5 Star. Service was average and our waitress ghosted us several times. We are not picky diners but the oysters came out some unshucked and two other totally dry. We told the waitress who quickly removed the dish telling us she would take care of it. She did not return until our second course had begun. I told her I did not have any oysters and was expecting that she would bring out a new order. She told me that she had just merely taken it off the bill. No remedy. The total bill was $1200 for four people. I don’t mind paying high prices for good food and great service but that did not happen. Disappointing

We had an extraordinary dinner with friends. The lobster carbonara appetizer was my favorite. Fantastic service. Gorgeous views. Wonderful.

Impeccable service, gourmet menu selections and warm friendly atmosphere is cause for return trips. Pre Fixe menu with choices is unique and worth the price.
